Medium Peach Oolong Flavored Tea, Large Watermelon Slush with Aloe
    Carina H.

I ordered a Medium Peach Oolong Flavored Tea, which was very refreshing. While the flavor was great, it wasn't a drink that stood out to me. I also had a sip of the Large Watermelon Slush with Aloe, and it was very refreshing. It tasted like I was drinking straight from a real watermelon cracked open. While the line to order moved quickly, the wait for the drinks was longer -- about 10 minutes. It was pretty busy in the evening.

Cold bubble tea on a hot day really puts a smile on the kids faces. We were having lunch in Elmhurst and stopped by Vivi to get some drinks. Ambience: on the outside, the store looks like it had been a cute boutique bubble tea shop in the past with cute cartoonish logos and signage, however, today, it is boarded up and serving drinks TO GO only through its door. Drinks: the bubble teas are like a commodity now, nothing spectacular. TL/DR: An average also ran in the competitive bubble tea scene.

Nice place if you like boba tea, they have a selection of flavors that are really good and flavorful. I like this place more than others because not only do you get a student discount but i find that other places are more bland or have a weird aftertaste. Overall the staff are helpful, and its a nice cute boba spot.

Easy to order at the storefront. No need to go inside. They have a microphone system for orders. There were some people who ordered in advance and came by to pick up orders. Our order came out pretty quickly. Popcorn chicken is delicious as always. But damn, their drinks are pricey. Two drinks (medium and large) and popcorn chicken were almost $20. The taro brulee mik tea was out of this world delicious. Really enjoyed this treat.

Great place for varies bubble tea. I was thinking to buy a bottle of water, instead, they gave free water with cute cup. I am always here to buy bubble tea for myself and my friend when I am in the area. Highly recommended if you like bubble tea and some crispy and tasty snacks.

Keeping it real out here. Very cool bubble tea shop with actual seating inside, wouldn't mind spending a good half day doing work with my laptop there. Decor is unique and service overall is great. Would go again for sure

The shop itself is so cute and aesthetic. It feels really nice going there. Unfortunately, the same can't be said of their drinks. Bought a taro milk drink and it honestly looks super unappetizing. The image made it seem all pretty and purple but it's actually brown. The good part is that this means that it's real and natural taro. But unfortunately, this doesn't mean that the drink tastes any better. The taro hardly adds anything to the milk.

I've enjoyed 3Q from Vivi at a time in my life and I'm certain that I still carry the 5lbs that I gained from it somewhere here (points to thighs). Anyway, I was craving for some Bubble Tea and Vivi was conveniently on the way to Queens Blvd, so why not? The door is covered with plastic drape and there's enough space to make a payment and get your order. It's $15 minimum for credit card. The phone number is displayed and you have to call in your order. I got the Brown Sugar and Coffee Jelly Bubble Teas. The Jelly had zero coffee taste and it's quite chewy. I appreciate that the milk tea itself is not too sweet with the "less sugar" option. Next time, I will try other options when I'm in the mood for boba.

3.5 Stars! I would have rated this store 4 stars but they were out of the Sakura Bubble Tea! Boooo! lol That's what I went there for, so I was a little disappointed. They have a huge menu, so it can be a little overwhelming to order quickly, since the line gets long and you don't want to be "the one" who holds up the line because you don't know what you want. I ended up ordering a Taro Slush...loved it! Sweet but not too sweet; very refreshing. $4.50 for regular size. They also have a snack menu (see pics) but I didn't try anything on their menu. However, I hear that their popcorn chicken is fantastic! Maybe I'll try it next time. This store was small, but had about 5 or 6 booths for seating; one table for 2; and another table for 4. Lots of ppl just order and go but it's nice to know that there's a place in the area where you can sit and relax, and enjoy your beverage of choice.

My to go orders: taro bubble tea and spicy popcorn chicken. So delicious! Service is friendly and timely as well!

To Laiko represents the kinds of Greek-owned businesses that are disappearing by the minute in Astoria. It just so happens that this one sells Greek pastries and coffee. While the outside awning notes "The Little Coffee Shop", to my understanding "To Laiko" means "The people's" in Greek. I'm not sure how long they've been around, but they've been a fixture for as long as I've stepped foot in the borough (#1). This has certainly been a place that has been for the people (#2), which is always a great sign. They're among the only folks to my knowledge that sell authentic bougatsa, a breakfast phyllo rich specialty pastry that skews sweet and is enjoyed best with tea and/or coffee. They also have an excellent selection of spanakopita, which is Greece's most famous pastry containing feta and spinach. (#3) The kasseri cheese pie is also not to be missed, along with koulouri (sesame circular bread rolls), savory pastries, and the occasional loukamade (aka Greek donut). Prices aren't back breaking, but they've crept up over the years. While I think they accept credit card, it's always best to go with cash here to avoid any upcharges. Service from Angela is sweet and cordial and I prefer getting a drink with several pies on the go since seating is minimal. My hope is that this review helps others find them, since this is a place not to be missed. I'll certainly make this a pit stop during my next return back to Queens. __________ (#1) So, 20 years at least. (#2) Of mostly Greek patrons. (#3) Yes, spinach pie.

Gold N Honey was the winner of my last stop destination and the final recommended visit of Jando S. I'd never had Loukoumades before, but they are essentially large donut holes. There are many different types of toppings you can add, most of which are quite appealing, but I went with the Gold N Cream, which had chocolate, bavarian cream and biscotti. Upon my first bite, I assumed I would only be able to eat a few of my box because of the aforementioned crazy eating before coming here. But as I kept going, I realized, somehow, these little delights were nowhere near as heavy and filling as they looked. And by the end of it, I suffered zero stomach-based consequences from my actions. This can only mean that loukoumades are extremely healthy and amazing for you. They're practically grilled chicken! The cold brew was fine - it got the job done and saved me from an epic food coma. And I got to try a new dessert, so everyone won on this day.

This is actually cheesecake rather than the lighter Japanese version, with a strong black sesame flavor. Hojicha creme brulee: this came as part of a promotion, and the taste is strong.
