Theres a lot of space to get work done too! The baristas were very quick with our relatively large order. The coffee house is in a larger plaza with lots of breakfast spots, so its PACKED. But, it makes sense because this place is so popular. Going in, I had no idea what to expect, but this place exceeded any expectations I could've had. The line area was organized and separated from the seating area, the line moved very fast, and the workers were so friendly! They had a large variety of drink and food options, but I ended up getting a hot Spanish latte and a banana muffin. They give you buzzers here which make the waiting process a whole lot less stressful. My drink and food came out quick, but while I was waiting I noticed that thing place has a variety of seating, from couch chairs, to group tables, to low seating outdoors. Everything feels nice and organized and there's so much attention to detail. Keep in mind it is very noisy here from how many people just sit down to hang out, and there's also a bar, which I think they serve matcha at? Now for my food, I got my banana muffin warmed. It's soft, fluffy, packs a lot of banana flavor, and most of all, I could tell it was baked fresh! This isn't one of those cafes that serves mediocre pastries, but will give you a hearty baked good to compliment your drink! My Spanish latte was perfectly hot, with the right touch of milk and spices. Surprisingly, it had a good amount of espresso, but not too much to be overpowering. Overall, my experience here was amazing and I would love to come back to try more of their baked goods! I alsoo really liked their lids, which come with a flippable stopper to keep your drink hot.

Located in a plaza with plenty of parking, they have several tables inside that can be utilized for studying. Service is hit or miss depending on the day but overall, friendly and efficient. Their banana cream matcha is, personally in my opinion, not the best in town but it comes as a close second. When feeling something fruity or sweet I like their lychee green tea or the Phoenix king oolong milk tea. I recently got a chance to try their mini breadsticks and it was so good! They're like mini banh mi filled with pork floss and pate. Their prices are reasonable compared to other places. I would recommend!

There are two kiosk you can use in addition to the register. The staff at the register were really nice. We came here in March. When we ordered, they mentioned that they do BOGO-free from 10 am to 5 pm. Osmanthus Oolong: This tasted too sweet. I'm not sure if it's due to the milk they use or syrup, but it overpowers the tea flavor. I don't taste any tea itself. I've had other osmanthus milk tea or oolong milk tea and they were much better. Unfortunately, this drink is quite mid. I wouldn't recommend it. I think the drink would taste a lot better if they reduce the amount of sweetness or milk since their ice and sugar levels are fixed.

Their Vietnamese coffee is quite strong and bitter, which I personally enjoy. It is a bit sweet, but that's pretty typical of Vietnamese coffee. What really sets Viland apart from other nearby coffee and tea shops is their matcha tofu drink! I typically only enjoy tofu in dessert form, like in Vietnamese desserts, so this drink was right up my alley. The matcha itself is good, although it isn't the best matcha I've had. The real star of the show is the tofu. It's incredibly silky and sweet, pairing nicely with the matcha and giving the drink a unique texture. I also noticed that their crowd ranges from younger customers to older Vietnamese patrons, which speaks to its broad appeal. With so many competing coffee shops nearby, Viland is definitely worth checking out, especially if you're curious about their unique matcha tofu drink.

It's located in between Hong Lan Queen Eggrolls and Nam Am Chicken Rice restaurants on Brookhurst St in the Brookhurst Town Center. There is a parking lot that could be difficult to find a spot during lunch or dinner rush hours and weekends. I saw that they had black sesame coffee which made me really want to check it out. Black sesame drinks and food are a guilty pleasure of mine. My boyfriend and I both got their Nostimo Cafe Muoi Me (Black Sesame Coffee) with less ice. I forgot to adjust the sweetness but that wasn't needed at all! When I took the first sip without the straw, I had a lot of black sesame notes as there was actual black sesame topping on the cold foam and the strong bitter coffee taste. Then I mixed it with the straw and omg, it was a really nice balance of strong, delicious coffee and a nuttiness from the black sesame. SO GOOD. We both enjoyed it a lot! Based on our experience from just the black sesame coffee, the boba must also be very good. We will be back to try their other drinks in the future!

We ordered a Pistachio Coffee Latte, Ube Coco Souffle & Matcha Souffle Pancakes for the 5 of us to share. It was definitely plenty for all of us. Portion sizing is pretty generous.
