My sister recommended Prepped With Love to me as she had catered food from them for her husband's birthday. I reached out to Carol about a month ago for my friend's baby shower I was hosting at my house this past Saturday. She responded to me immediately and sent me a catering menu. There were a lot of food options and the prices were reasonable. She was very kind and responded quickly to my questions via email. It was such an easy process to order and it was very professional. I ordered the garlic noodles, teriyaki chicken thigh, kalbi and garlic shrimp. Oh my goodness! Everyone loved the food that I ordered. They kept raving about it and people even asked to take some home. Haha. It was that good. Everything was so moist, flavorful and delicious! Cooked to perfection and everything just looked beautiful. Nothing was dry. I need to try other foods on the menu now. I will definitely order from Prepped With Love in the future. I recommend this to everyone. You will not regret it.
$22 for a bowl of chili, a cornbread, and a Pandan waffle. Found this to be a little pricey since I got some styrofoam containers and the flavors weren't as good as the other dishes lol The sandwiches and guava cupcakes are more worth it, i can prolly go without the chili. ======== Veggie sandwich 5/5 $8-9 The bread they use is very good!! Ingredients are very fresh and crunchy. Beautiful way to consume the rainbow lol I like adding red onions (50¢ charge) or some chimichurri at home if I want extra spice. Chicken cabrese panini $12ish Quite large. The bread is a little thicker and it leans more chicken pesto for me, but it has a healthy amount of cheese and nice chunks of protein. Nothing was dry and every bite was solid. Tuna melt 4.5/5 I don't remember details, but I know I liked it lol Guava chiffon cupcake $8 for two cupcakes 5/5 Actually better than this other Hawaiian spot I had in Torrance, and tho it's moist and not too sweet, I would prefer a touch more tang for more guava-ness. But I also can eat 3 of these easy haha Smores cookie $3-$4 4/5 Also yummy!! I ate this over a couple days and the quality didn't diminish too much. Crisp with some softness and chew and nice density. The chocolate is a pleasant darkness without being cloying. OK ITEMS Pandan waffle 3/5 More mochi than waffle, one piece is very filling. Comes with toasted coconut + condensed milk. Fav is still Bambu for more of that flakey texture ~ Garlic noodles $38 3.5/5 Ordered a tray for thanksgiving one time and though it was easy to eat, a touch sweet, and also fed 15+ people, it didn't blow my mind. I can see why kids would like it, but I wanted it heavier on the garlic (vox/bird and barrel) Chili 3.5/5 The first time i had it months ago, it was really good. Fast forward to now, it's still good, but maybe missing something. Also did it not ever come with garnish? Corn bread was also better the first time! Moist tho. Ordering could be tricky cuz sometimes you're met with a busy tone if you go through phone call, but believe during holidays they have online ordering available. Service is friendly and the establishment smells super good with the scent of food wafting in the air lol
To Chef Carol of Prepped With Love, THANK YOU! After the heartbreaking loss of a family member, we were overwhelmed trying to plan the memorial service. On top of everything that followed, we also had to figure out how to feed our family and friends who were in attendance during the viewing, after the mass, and at the celebration of life. Considering it would be a long and emotionally exhausting day, the last thing we wanted was loved ones running around trying to coordinate or pick up food. Having enjoyed Chef Carol's lunch offerings from Prepped With Love in the past, and knowing she also offers catering services, I checked her Instagram (@preppedwithlovebychefcarol) and reached out. Thankfully, she was available--and I reached out immediately, even before reviewing her catering menu. From the first point of contact, I knew we would be in good hands. Carol took an enormous weight off our shoulders. She was kind, compassionate, responsive, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. She didn't just provide a service to us--she guided us through every step of the planning and was with us the entire time. We are grateful for her presence during this difficult time. For background, here is everything she prepared for us: During the viewing: Bottled water, a boba station with two options and additional toppings, pâté chaud, and egg rolls. After the mass: Individually packed croissant sandwiches (turkey or ham), each with a cutie--mandarin orange--and each packaged with a vanilla bean, passion fruit, raspberry, or chocolate macaron. At the celebration of life: Two types of salads with two dressings to choose from, two pastas (chili spaghetti and Tuscan chicken), mini sliders (beef patty or chicken pesto and parmesan focaccia), barbacoa beef quesadillas, banana bread (classic, walnut, Nutella), fruit trays, and surprise additions like baked crab croissants, and for dessert heart-shaped pandas waffles drizzled with condensed milk and coconut shavings. Every dish was beautifully presented. Chef Carol's professionalism and expertise were on full display. All perishable food items were kept in warm chafing dishes or heat lamps to maintain food quality. The variety of food, the quality of each item, and the thoughtfulness were beyond what we expected. Our friends and family are still raving about the food days later! Carol and her team were with us from the start to finish. They handled all the setup and cleanup, allowing our family to focus on honoring our loved one without the added stress. We will forever be thankful for the comfort she provided us through her food and professionalism. If you're planning any event, I can't recommend Prepped With Love enough. Chef Carol was a blessing to our family, and we'll be booking her again.
Had PWL cater my mom's 70th birthday celebration, and the food was phenomenal! Guests couldn't stop talking about the amazing food-- from filet mignon and garlic noodles to pandan waffles and mango panna cotta, every dish was a hit. Highly recommend PWL for any special event!
So sad that they aren't opening regularly anymore, this was our go to spot for an easy and quick bite! All of the food is amazing and never disappoints! It's like walking into Cheers, where everybody knows your name... I was in there just over an hour for lunch & I swear, everyone was greeted by name upon entering! Friendly vibe, chill music, excellent quality food & service. When I walked in, Chef greeted me & immediately apologized for a banana bread I purchased last week while she was out at a catering gig. Upon her return, she noticed it wasn't up to her standards, so she felt terrible. She offered me another dessert to make up for it & told me to call her anytime I'm not 100% happy with something. Talk about service & quality! Today I tried her chicken alfredo... I couldn't stop making all the yummy sounds & doing a lil happy dance while enjoying it! The chicken was perfectly tender & juicy, while still crispy outside; even the broccoli was cooked just right. Oh & the toast on the side is crack. Her desserts are drool-worthy, & the cinnamon streusel cheesecake banana bread was no exception. The brownies & s'mores cookies - not pictured due to inhalation - are heavenly... a MUST try when you're in the area!

Having Chef Carol from Prepped with Love cater my event added the perfect touch to my gender reveal party. Chef Carol and her staff were very professional and efficient. Every dish that Chef Carol provided was delicious from her garlic noodles where shrimp could be added or just sautéed mushrooms for the vegetarians. The tuna melt and grilled cheese sandwiches were great finger food for the kids. The strawberry shortcake and pandan desserts were a hit and went by fast. Other than the food being delicious, Chef Carol's display of dishes made such a delightful presentation. There was so much effort put into everything she did and it showed. We highly recommend Chef Carol at your next Catering event, and we are looking forward to having her again at our next event.
If you're craving home-style type food, this is the spot. These simple and yet delicious dishes reminds me of home. I enjoyed eating the chili spaghetti. I'm a big fan of spaghetti and it was interesting to taste the extra kick and umami flavor that the chili added. It wasn't too salty, just right. 8/10. We also tried the rainbow sandwich and it tasted healthy. The colors of all the different vegetables was nice to look at. It was like eating an art piece. 7/10. The place inside is kinda tight, but the cute decor and set up made it feel comfy. The cashier was friendly and also gave us a free sample of one of their bakery goods. That was nice of her. Complements to the chef, food tasted great made from quality ingredients and love. Overall, I really like the food and ambiance. I would be down to come back with friends to try the other dishes.
Chef Carol might've taken the cake for best Tuna Melt of all time! Absolutely perfect crisp on the outside with a cheesy spread inside. Dipping the Grilled Cheese that had been toasted just right into the thick yet smooth Tomato Soup was amazing as well! Best part of the meals were how it wasn't really oily and fills you up just right They've also got a great meal prep menu with weekly specials and those are just as amazing! I was a big fan of the Salmon Soba Noodles that had an amazing dressing with it to compliment the rest of the dish, not to mention the tender salmon that just fell apart once you bit into it. Their juicy Crispy Shrimp was perfectly infused with seasoning and buttering to bring out an amazing flavor as well! Definitely can taste the love put into every bit of the meal, whether you're dining in or grabbing meal prep! An absolute gem of a kitchen with quality dishes at a great price :)
While Carol's food is good, what isn't is the secret charges you DON'T see on your bill. Not only is this unsettling, it's also illegal to throw them in and not disclose it upfront. When the math didn't add up, I called her out on it. She charges a whopping 4% fee on all purchases to cover "credit card costs", when in reality credit card terminal fees for a merchant don't run 4%. So she's covering the cost PLUS keeping some on the back end for herself. I emailed Carol and informed her to speak to someone like a bookkeeper, or a business attorney. She shouldn't be scamming her customers. Merchants can't legally charge more than what the terminal fee is. Many merchants don't even charge customers to use their credit card. If you are charging customers, you have to notify them UPFRONT somewhere they can easily see. I had to double check receipts every time I ordered, by manually adding them each time, since you'll never see these secret charges listed on your receipt. She didn't want to sell to me anymore because I called out this nonsense. Who knows how long it's been going on. I tried to inform her in a non confrontational way; via email, but I guess she is so used to getting money off the top from customers that anyone who disrupts that cycle can no longer be served food at her establishment. Response to her reply: There is NO SIGNAGE whatsoever that she is secretly adding these fees. She even said in her correspondence I posted "you DON'T see it as an itemized item on the bottom of the receipt, but it's there". It's NO WHERE to be found in her store or otherwise. I have witnesses who can attest to such. I had to manually add up the receipts to figure out what she was doing. Only when the county got involved, did she start cleaning up her act. Who knows how long it's been going on for, and how much money she's raked in the process. I contacted her "proof" she posted that she's charged 4%. "Javier" (the alleged sales rep) seems shady and never responds to back her up. He won't respond to emails or texts. Plus the email she posted shows a 2021 date on the signature line. We're in 2025, but ok? I looked him up on LinkedIn, can't find someone working for FiServ/Clover under that name. Can't find him anywhere online working for that company. Yes, I placed an order again, because the food is decent. However, I continued coming down on her to be transparent and stop ripping people off. Then AND ONLY then did she decide to stop selling food to me, which is fine, since there are hundreds (if not thousands) of similar restaurants nearby. Carol is cooking up food with a side of deceit. Your receipts will have the hidden charges baked in. Bon appétit!

We hired this caterer for our child's birthday party and she absolutely knocked it out of the park! The mac & cheese was creamy and delicious -- i think because she hand grates fresh cheese. The chicken fingers were crispy perfection, and the summer rolls were a hit with adults and little ones alike (individually wrapped to not dry out), and the charcuterie and fruit platters looked absolutely stunning. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and people took leftovers home. Parents were coming up to us asking who catered the event. If you're looking for someone who can feed a crowd of kids AND impress the grown-ups at the same time, look no further. We'll 100% be booking her again! read more
Recently got to try out Prepped With Love at a friend's birthday. There was a wide variety of different entrees and appetizers. Everything was so tasty and delicious. We really enjoyed the garlic noodles, musubi, toasts, short ribs, and veggies. I personally enjoyed the food so much that I stopped by lunch service. Picked up a Philly Melt, Salmon Soba Noodle Salad, and Vietnamese Coffee cookie. The food was made to order. It was prepared hot and fresh. The salmon had such good flavor. Unfortunately, they forgot to pack the dressing for the soba noodles so I didn't get to enjoy it fully. Nonetheless, the Philly Melt was very savory and so good with the grilled onions. Cookie was also tasty and has a nice chew. Overall enjoyed Chef Carol's food and excited to come back for lunch service. read more

They are open M-F 8:30-2pm for same day ordering. Sat and sun closed due to prepping meals (Pick up meals for the week on Sunday night or Monday). They also cater events (Various catering options). Rotating menu but some signature tasty meals I've tried include the... 1. Tuna melts (Avocado, cheese, tomato, pea sprouts). Best tuna sandwich I ever had! 2. Banh mi bowl - Rice served with seasoned meatballs, with carrots and cabbage. 3 Garlic shrimp - Fried shrimp with rice and asparagus. 4. Delicious banana bread! Menu is always rotating or changing, but signature menu items are available every day. Overall, everything I've tried was pretty good! read more

LOVE it here! Top tier service and quality food. Carol goes above and beyond for her people/clients. I'm a sucker for the Tuna Melt here(normally add avocado and sprouts to mine). Desserts such as the s'mores cookie, banana bread, and carrot cake are highly recommended as well! You can really see the love put into the craft here. I'll continue to be a regular :) read more

If you're in OC, check out this restaurant/meal prep kitchen run by Chef Carol Garnier! They serve casual lunch specials during weekdays and spend weekends making meal prep orders for pickup. They make a mean tuna melt -- I'm going back specifically for that! I haven't tried the meal prep yet, but the lunches here were solid, so I imagine her meal prep would be as well. From what I observed the meals are balanced, fresh, and tasty. read more

I'm so lucky to live so close to this establishment because I've ordered here multiple times, and they serve the BEST tuna melts/sandwiches I've ever had. The bread they use for the tuna melt is so light and fluffy, yet, they're able to keep it crispy. My photo may not do it justice, but they put on HEAPS of tuna onto the sandwich. Avocado, lettuce, tomatoes, and jalapeños are all extra, but they're all worth it because they all enhance the taste. The tuna melt comes with chips which are super crunchy and perfectly salted. They'll also have some baked goods, such as varying flavors of banana bread. I've had the chocolate chip banana bread, not pictured, and it was delicious that I finished it all in once day. Overall, this place is such a hidden gem in the Westminster area. If I could, I'd have this everyday. read more

I found Chef Carol through Instagram. My boss needed a chef to cook in her home and serve a party of 40+. I spoke with multiple catering companies and went over menus from others but overall, Carol came up with the most cohesive and delicious menu. She's easy to get a hold of, makes the planning process easy and has great customer service. Her food is top notch, her servers are great and her pricing is fair. I recommend Carol(Prepped with Love) 100% for all catering and meal prep needs. I really enjoyed working with her and eating her food :) I have ordered her meal prep previously and have thoroughly enjoyed everything. Especially the banana bread. Pick up is always easy too. Way over due review-never knew this place even had a Yelp! Until today I had to randomly look up the address/hours of operation. For the past year or so I've been ordering weekly meal preps from Chef Carol and I think I've literally tried every single item on her menu (except rainbow sandwich, flatbread, & the quesadilla). All of her items are so good and addicting-it's quality ingredients prepped with love that even my picky children and their father enjoy eating. I follow this business on IG and I have great peace of mind knowing that they go to great lengths to ensure the food is sanitary and have professional cleaners come every week for a deep clean. I've never found anything wrong w/ my food. Somehow chef Carol knows how to preserve the produce and ingredients where even after sitting in my fridge for almost a week the food still tastes so fresh! Her salads are always crisp and avocados are on point with the ripeness factor. One time I couldn't finish my tuna sandwich and left it in the fridge-the next day the bread was still crunchy and perfect! She's like a magician I swear. All of her food is cooked to the perfect temp so that when you reheat it per the container instructions the food turns out PERFECT and not over cooked-and that's really important for steaks and pork etc. Her crispy shrimp is amazing and gigantic! My family and I are pretty picky when it comes to our protein-chef Carol's meals always smell and taste fresh. The tuna doesn't have a fishy taste, steak/pork/salmon/chicken won't have any funky gamey smells at all! The rice is quality rice and cooked to perfection. The veggies are never soggy-it always tastes so clean and light. She makes the best sweets and banana bread!!! Omg. Super moist! I don't know how she does it! Legit it's super fun stalking her online menus every week to see what new items she has. The pricing is superb-totally worth it and not to mention how it saves me so much time every week and not having to think about what to eat or what to feed my family/kids. Perfect for when I'm starving and on the go. With inflation and rising cost of groceries I honestly think her meals are such a great deal (lol oftentimes I think to myself how does she stay in business with such expensive quality ingredients for such stellar prices?! One time she had delish steak and giant prawns on her meal prep menu for under $20!!!) Definitely check this place out! You won't be disappointed-many restos nowadays are shady w/ their food quality and cleanliness but NOT here! Having peace of mind is priceless. TRY EVERYTHING! Came for a visit with a brother. Bread was toasted just right. Not too burnt nor hard to bite through. But just enough to have a nice crisp to it. Sandwhiches were full in volume, and made with fresh juicy ingredients. 1/2 was enough to satisfy a munch. Full was perfect on an empty stomach. and it didn't make me feel bloated or that I overate. best tuna melt sandwich on earth? I'd say so myself. Made fresh to order. The quality tuna goes so good with the nice melted cheese. Buttery toast cooked just right. This is a must order anytime I'm in the area. They also do a lot of meal preps if you're looking for something easy where you don't have to cook at home. Saw a friend posted about the tuna melt and I was intrigued. Stalked the instagram page and the website for a few days before deciding to order smh. Why did I wait. Ordered 2 tuna melts (lettuce and tomatoes qre additional $.50 each). 1 chicken pesto 1 cup of chili + cornbread The tuna melts were so goood! Crunchy, garlicky-buttery bread with the perfect amount of tuna filling. The kettle chips were also delicious, not too crunchy that they'll rip your gums apart. Chicken pesto was very delicious but I was disappointed no chops came with it. And the chili! I haven't had good chili in such a long time. This was perfectly seasoned and not sickening at all. And no beans! It was THE perfect chili. Cornbread, so moist and buttery and fluffy and all the good things packed in. This was delicious. So delicious! I've been craving a good tuna melt and I stumbled on this place. I'm so glad I did. Carol even brought out some of their chili spaghetti for us to try and it was equally delicious! I also am in love with their banana bread (fresh and made to order), and Ube Mochi heart shaped muffin. I recommend this cute spot. Will definitely go back to try their meal prep items. read more
AMAZING food!!! Love the whole vibe of this place. Chef Carol is an amazing cook and is super sweet. I've tried the rainbow sandwich, chicken pesto, and quesadilla and loved them all. I literally inhaled my food in minutes. I do want to try more of the meal prep items and desserts as well. She has food items cooked fresh and also the meal preps in the fridge. I've been lucky enough to witness Chef Carol's humble beginnings of meal prepping from her home during the pandemic to opening her own restaurant a few years later, and that's why I know everything is truly prepped with love. Large variety of meal prep options so it's never boring and bursting of flavors. You can order online or her restaurant has grab and go options. My personal favorite is the tuna avocado salad and crispy shrimp w/ rice. From the restaurant's daily menu, I recommend my personal favorite -- tuna melt sandwich! It's a game changer. I like to add sprouts and extra extra extra jalapeños in mine. I love it spicy. Comes with kettle chips and a pickle. I have catered from her for multiple occasions - engagement party, work social, Christmas party, family gatherings, and potlucks. She's super easy to work with. You can order from her menu in bulk and she even gave me off menu suggestions based on my theme parties so it fits the vibe. I appreciate that she gives me a few options based on my budget when I ask for her recommendation. Overall, amazing small business and worth visiting! I'll be back soon because I'm beginning to crave a tuna melt as I type this review. read more
