LOVE the fish sauce (nuoc mam) and wish that they actually sold those separately in jars because I would honestly buy all their inventory. The story behind Mama Xeo is pretty cool too and it's nice to know that our generation is trying to carry down the traditions of our immigrant parents. Set up and communication with Brandon is seamless (pretty responsive through instagram @mamaxeo). Brandon was super responsive to my inquiries and gave me a quote immediately. Everyone loved the Banh xeo and banh khot because it was so fresh and crispy. All the Vietnamese aunties loved it and said it tasted better than the ones in restaurants. They kept waiting for his secret recipe. Everything was cooked to order so it was fresh every single time. He did not skimp out on the toppings. I would highly recommend Brandon and his Banh xeo for parties.

The salmon and hamachi were also really good as well. We were both really pleased and would be definitely ordering from him again. I highly recommend.

Tina was very easy and friendly to communicate with during the entire process, and prepared and pre-cooked our large orders (vegetarian friendly options included) with ease and great efficiency. Their team arrived an hour early to start setting up, and quickly finished setting up within 90 minutes. Plates, utensils, napkins, and sauces were all provided. We ordered multiples of their half trays of fried rice with chicken and beef, stir fry egg noodles with chicken and beef, and Vietnamese chicken salad. We also ordered a large amount of their beef skewers, Banh Mi Vietnamese sandwiches with pork and beef, and Spring Rolls with pork and shrimp. They helped serve the food for 2 hours, and then helped with packing all the leftovers afterwards. The food was very well received by our friends and family members! We definitely would recommend them for their authentic Vietnamese cuisine. We would even like to try their well known Pho service next time.

One of the absolute highlights of FoodieLand this year…read more If you know me, FoodieLand in previous years usually meant me hunting down the biggest, cheesiest, most over-the-top food imaginable but this year apparently growth is choosing fruit and sticky rice instead. I tried the mango sticky rice, which came with three different sticky rice flavors -- ube, pandan, and original -- along with beautifully sliced fresh mango, coconut milk, and tapioca. Everything about it was incredible. The sticky rice was perfectly sweet, soft, and chewy with this syrup over the top that honestly made the whole thing addictive. It was so good I literally finished one, got back in line, and ordered another. The presentation was beautiful, the portions were generous, and the pricing was surprisingly reasonable for both the quality and amount you get. The women working behind the counter were also incredibly kind and worked together almost like family, which made the whole experience feel even more welcoming. The food tasted fresh, vibrant, and made with care. Honestly wish they were local because I would absolutely be there all the time. Definitely one of the standout vendors at FoodieLand this year.
