Found this small business when they were a food vendor at Downtown Riverside Lunar Festival! I was very happy to see some Laos representation. For $8... Pretty pricey for sweet sticky rice, but it was so delicious! The sticky rice was so fragrant from the banana leaf and it paired well with the coconut milk. I wish it had much more jackfruit though. I definitely will think of them in the future for any catering and event needs. Love supporting Laotian small businesses :-)

Whenever I'm needing my Laotian food fix, this place always hits the spot. I put in an order for some chicken skewers and egg rolls. These skewers are to die for, so tasty and pleasantly delicious, the egg-rolls are fantastic as well. I have yet to try their beef skewers but I have heard nothing but good things about them. I'm so excited to try those as well. Maly & Harry are very easy to deal with, and have never let me down. I've tasted their food at an event I attended as well. At this event I tried their beef roti, omg soooo good people! Place your orders now! You won't be disappointed.

I ordered some beef skewers to bring home and bbq. We got the Wagyu beef skewers and they were a HIT!! My son(2) and nephew(10) thought it was the coolest thing to eat those skewers!! My nephew even asked..."when can we eat this again for dinner?" Maly and Harry never disappoint! Customer from 2 counties over...it's that good that I'm willing to travel! Will order again!!

As the name suggests, they do catering but you should give at least 5-7 days' notice especially during the holidays. I tried to place a catering order during Thanksgiving week and wasn't able to because they were already fully booked. If they were closer, I'd come here at least twice a week to replenish my banchan fix. Nonetheless, I always go out of my way to return!

They did a PHENOMENAL job getting the order ready precisely on time. The food was a huge SUCCESS! Our guests especially loved the Japchae, with several people asking where it was from. I mentioned that this place specializes in catering, so individual orders might not be possible. The Tempura Shrimp was also a BIG HIT and was the FIRST ITEM TO DISAPPEAR from the buffet platters. Finally, the Gangjung Chicken was DELICIOUS, boasting a perfectly crispy texture and a wonderfully balanced, savory flavor. At the end of the party, I was thrilled to have leftovers to enjoy the following day.

*Tips for planners below*…read more We had a great time with Colette's Catering (with Muckenthaler Cultural Center as the partnered venue). Starting from the beginning planning process, Sara was super helpful, quick to respond, knowledgable about the planning process, and accomodating with all our requests. The tasting prior to selecting our menu was delicious. We went off the pre-selected entree choices for our menu, and the food was excellent, with great responses from all our guests. The venue itself was superb. Beautiful location, great green spaces, perfect for the classic Socal outdoor wedding. The flow makes perfect sense, from ceremony, to cocktail hour, to reception. And there's even an indoor option should weather be a bother. All the staff prior to and the day of were so helpful and friendly. We had no issues with anyone. The only issue we found was a lack of running water in the Bridal Suite sink. Thankfully the bathroom is right inside. Tip 1. I highly recommend perusing their entire menu to decide exactly what you would like to; no need to stick to their pre-selected choices! Of course you'll be paying the a la carte prices then. But the options are abounding. 2. We had a photobooth and gelato vendor that fit perfectly onto the patio area. 3. Dry wedding? No problem! The patio also has a rustic nook to fit a "mocktail" or even a "boba" bar!!! 4. There is adequate parking on-site, parking extends onto the lawn, and the venue provides staff to help guide people. DM for any questions! Would be happy to answer questions about my own personal experiences!
