My only complaint is that they didn't bring the beans we had been told would be included and that we had specifically requested. Instead, they brought potatoes without letting us know ahead of time. Sorry for the late review. I was very impressed with their food & service. We hired them for my family members funeral reception. They traveled up to our location in San Gabriel Valley. They arrived and were set up by the time the guest started arriving at the reception hall. They served 3 types of meats, if guests wanted quesadillas they would prepare meat quesadillas, mulitas & tacos. All the condiments were provided, plates/ utensils plus beans and rice. Beans were so good that they finished very quickly. We also added 6 Agua Frescas, Chips & 2 kinds of salsa. After everyone ate, they packed up all the leftovers (we brought jugs for the leftover Agua Fresca). We were thoroughly impressed. Also, tacos were not greasy or dripping with grease. The tacos from ta goodchi tacos are very good. My cousin used them for her daughter birthday party in Irvine because she tried them at another party and it was a good choice. Ricardo is the owner but we had his brother, I believe his name was Dino and he was awesome. He was very polite and try to make sure everyone had a great experience trying their tacos. I was the first one to get some tacos since I stood where he was setting up. I started off with a carne asada quesadilla and 2 carne asada tacos. He used mozzarella cheese on the quesadilla. The tacos were delicious especially when you add the red sauce to it. I went back and got the chicken taco and El pastor taco. I like the carne asada more and then the chicken meat. My brother in law got their mulita and he liked it along with the horchata drink. I didn't get the beans or rice but my brother did which he liked everything. They were very popular throughout the party but since we didn't have a lot of people and other food, the line wasn't bad. They bring the tacos, meat, sides, and alllll the fixings! The meats are super tender and well marinated and the salsas are absolutely delicious - they have a nice kick, just the way we like it. Wow oh wow. These tacos that Ta' Goodchi catered at my son's birthday was insane! I've had many different taco vendor catering events, and honestly these guys were my favorite. The menu was: Protein: Asada, Pastor, Pollo, Bacon Hotdogs Bean and Rice Grilled Onions/peppers (so simple, yet so good) Onion/Cilantro Aqua Fresca Red/Green Salsa (the green salsa is something else. one of the best salsa i've had) and the best part, they provided all the plates, utensils, napkins, cups. I had some extra just in case, but I thought it was a great attention to detail that made it easier for me. Honestly, the food itself is pretty standard for a taco vendor, but man did the food taste worlds better than the norm. I'm not sure if they used homemade tortillas (probably not, but if so wow), but the corn tortillas were so good and crispy. Make sure to get the mulita's cause those tortillas were so good, chewy, and crispy. Everyone at the event inhaled them. Honestly, the best thing I could say was, it was extremely affordable and super professional. It made planning, so much easier knowing that they provided so much services. I can't recommended enough, and will probably be my go to taco vendor in the OC from now on. ***EDIT*** I waited 3 days to write this review, because I wanted to see how good all the food tasted even today. Then at 11pm two days before the party "his wife" texts me to say that he is in the hospital and has to cancel. No problem; I wished him well. But I had to scramble to find another taco guy and did the Yelp option to get other business quotes. Well lo and behold Ricardo was one of those responses. Not only did I confirm that he ACTUALLY WAS available during the time we ALREADY BOOKED him, he is now quoting $200 more for the same party. THIS BUSINESS IS SHADY AND ARE LIARS.
