The first time I got to enjoy their catering food menu was at a Business Networking event/Chamber sort of mixer in Garden Grove on Trask right by the 22 freeway. So much better to have their terrific and seriously yummy charcuterie meats and cheese "tray" which was actually so beautifully arranged in an easily accessible multi tier tower. There were also these fantastic meatballs (not those ones which everyone has from Costco, right?) and amazing coconut chicken skewers. They were SO GOOD!! My only mistake was taking just one politely leaving some for others planning to swing back to the heated serving area. When I returned quite awhile later, only one was left! Snagged it. They are a fan favorite for sure! This time we were needing catering for a Celebration Of Life for my wife's grandpa, It was small ~100 people. We wanted just appetizers, drinks and desserts. After selecting our appetizers, drinks and cupcakes we were sent the invoice. She included full service for two hours, she didn't want us to worry about anything. We have someone who is allergic to gluten and Carolina was more than accommodating. The day of service the caterers showed up EARLY!!!! How awesome! They were ready to go and I showed them where to set up and reminded them about the allergy. The display was amazing, it was so beautiful and more than we could ask for (pictures). The servers were on top of it, the food was being plated as people took it to make sure it was fresh (no chaffing dishes)! When the allergy plate needed to be made they changed thier gloves and went above and beyond to serve. We got rave reviews on the food from everyone! 10/10 for these guys! They are rock stars. Our coordinator Majalla was a sweetheart. Unfortunately the day before the event they called to say they had forgotten to add tablecloths to the contract and we were responsible for paying an additional $700 if we wanted to have our event the next day. I requested to not use the table cloths as we were already over budget for the event. I was told that was not an option as they had already taken delivery of them. Then I was told they would comp our drink station to try to meet us part way. Then I get an email from the Angie the director who changed the contract and lied about the drink cost trying to make it seem like she reduced the price, when the price had already been reduced in the original contract. The food was subpar, many complaints from our staff about the quality of the food. It's extremely shady business ethics they have and I would warn anyone from doing business with them! If you are already scheduled, save original copies of the contract as they will try and bait/switch you, then lie about it. Very disappointed overall.

TGIS helped plan the menu, organized rentals needed, set up the tables on the day of the event, worked the event and clean-up afterwards while our guests danced the night away to the band. The food was outstanding! We started with four passed hors d'oeuvres which were presented in a glamours manner to the guests. I highly recommend all four which consisted of Chicken Shawarma Cone, Black Bean Empanadas, Mushroom Truffle Flatbread and Street Corn Fritters. They were all yummy! Once everyone sat down for dinner, a baby gem wedge salad with two choices of dressing was served. The dinner was a gourmet meal consisting of ale & maple braised short ribs, lemon potato wedges and seasonal roasted vegetables. Artisan rolls and seasoned butter were in bread baskets on the table. Everything was amazingly good! All our guests raved about the food. We had a separate dessert station that served TGIS's signature warm butter cake with homemade caramel topping, ice cream, raspberry confit and whip cream. OH MY GOSH! It was to die for and a hit with all the guests! Highly recommend! We actually served the same dessert at our daughter's wedding and knew it was a must for our anniversary party. Every member of TGIS's staff that day were highly professional, kind, courteous and hard working. I mean everyone from the head event captain, the servers, the event chef & his crew and the bartender. OUTSTANDING! I would not hesitate to use TGIS for any catering needs you have, no matter the size. They are the best! They catered my daughter's wedding of 225 guests, our smaller gathering of 100 for our anniversary party and other more intimate smaller settings that I have attended elsewhere. With TGIS on board, I literally feel less stressed about hosting the event. I know that everything from food, setup, presentation and tear down will be handled perfectly. I highly recommend using TGIS. Don't even bother getting estimates from any other caterer. TGIS's food and services are an outstanding value when comparing to other high-end caterers. The crew were gracious, efficient and good looking. A happy group, one telling me what a great company this was to work for. The food was delicious, with many tasty choices, and presented beautifully in the multiple locations with appetizers circulated by charming ladies. TGIS will be our first choice for future events.
