Customer service was great. She was very friendly and helpful. We came close to closing so there wasn't much of a variety left. Need to come earlier next time to try their other items Buolgoi tofu - $14.50 for 5 pieces -the flavor of the meat was definitely strong and it overpowers the taste of the tofu pouch. Rib eye bulgogi triangle kimbap - $4.50 for one -the ratio of the rice and meat was good. Meat was very flavorful so it went well with the purple rice

A great quick, easy, spot for Korean food!! I stopped by hoping to get the sotteok, but they were out at the time because of a big catering order. The owner was super sweet and let me know it'd be about a 30-minute wait, which I was totally fine with. Instead of having me wait around, she gave me the number to text so I could come back later, and even gave me an extra spicy tuna onigiri while I waited and it was SO good. I love that they use purple rice for their onigiris. It's not something I see often, and it makes them extra special. Plus, the onigiris are big and super filling, perfect for a quick but satisfying meal or snack. When I came back and finally got the sotteok, it was so worth it--definitely one of my favorite snacks. The combo of sweet and spicy with that chewy sausage and rice cake is a great combination. I've had the yubus before too, and honestly, you can't go wrong with anything here. Everything I've tried has been delicious. Super friendly service and amazing food!!

Thoroughly enjoyed their food! Stopped by before work and got their dish of the day and their yubu. Both were really good. Definitely recommend for grabbing on the go!

Meal prep to cook at home, ready to heat meal kits, ready to drink beverages, spaghetti, sauce, spaces, chicken, porridge, onigiri/kimbap and more. The menu rotates so you have variety. Instead of sugar, monk fruit sweetener is used. Instead of white rice, premium brown rice is used. Meals focus on low sugar, low carb, and high protein so you ewell, feel well. If you're looking for easy to make and eat, Korean food that is good for you and also delicious, this is the place to go. My favorite flavor is the cheesy spaghetti

A colleague treated us for lunch. We were amazed at the quality and variety. Finally something other than pizza for the office. It was such a treat.

    Spicy Bulgogi Yubu, yum!

Amazing homemade food here!! They are well known for the meal-kit, today I got my lunch there, 1 Spicy Bulgogi Yubu, 1 Wasabi pollock roe Yubu, Tteok-Kkochi which brings my memory back in Korea, and Perilla leaves Banchan was a bomb!! Also, the owner was super friendly and welcoming. I'll definitely come back for more soon.

Korean fried chicken, complimentary pickled radish, rice balls, and banana milk

I have to say for quick Korean food this is a great spot! In terms of price, it is what you would expect for Korean food in OC. Initially I got the Korean fried chicken, banana milk, and a tuna rice ball. But then the owner and her mother were nice and gave me a complimentary rice ball and matcha tea for the holiday season! Even not including this into my overall experience, the food was good. The chicken had a nice glaze and crunch despite being coated in the sauce. The shishito peppers that were included added a nice heat I needed; the heat was quenched by the matcha milk tea which was had a strong matcha taste. The only thing I would say is that the rice ball had a bit more filling. But it was still good as they used purple rice instead of the regular white rice. They let me eat inside. The store is small and had little benches with stool tables. Once I was done, the owner's mother gave me a wet wipe to clean up. Overall, it's a great place to grab some food!

Each course was perfect, and no detail was missed. Each guest was blown away by the amazing flavors and how they seamlessly fit with each other. Course after course of insane flavor and decadence. Chef Matt is easy to work with, very communicative, and has a well thought out plan. He provided a recommended menu, we had him add a beautiful charcuterie board to start the evening, and away he went. He was on time and finished prepping the food in our kitchen with the intoxicating aroma wafting through the house. Thank you, Chef Matt. If I could rate you 10 stars I would.

INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE…read more This was one of the most interesting, fun, fulfilling experiences my husband and I have ever had. If you are even remotely thinking about booking, I would highly recommend doing so. My husband is very in to cooking/food. He's a cooking show junkie who has no professional training but loves to cook and learn. I booked Chef Matt as a Date Night activity for us. The whole "Before" process was very easy. Chef Matt sent us some sample menus. I chose the California Coastal one. I wasn't super sure about one of the options (I'm kind of a picky eater) so Chef Matt worked with me to swap out the suggested course option to make it something we would enjoy a bit more. I have to note because I was so impressed- This alternative was one of the coolest dishes we had ever had. Chef Matt asked what our favorite vegetable was. My answer was asparagus. Chef Matt prepared a dish that used asparagus 5 different ways! Talk about creative! We loved it! Any how, Chef Matt showed up the day of with everything needed to cook our 4-course meal. I wasn't sure what to expect, so set our table and had the dishwasher empty; ready to go for dishes after the meal. I was happily surprised when Chef Matt showed up with not only the items needed to cook the meal, but also his own pots/pans, cooking utensils, dishes for every course, cleaning products, and a trash bag of his own! The only things we needed were silverware, napkins, and our drinks (which I pre-planned wine pairing to each course...something I'd highly recommend doing/asking about- Chef Matt had great insight for the pairings)! Chef Matt did a little prep work and let us know we could be as involved or uninvolved as we wanted in the cooking process. We chose to be more involved. Chef Matt explained everything he was doing to prepare each dish as we watched. He explained technique, ingredients, past experiences, and shared his passion for food with us. The food from each course was unbelievable. Better than the best restaurant in town! All around the same price we would have spent going to a nice restaurant- 110% worth the value. Chef Matt is truly talented. His creativity, knowledge of the art, and passion for cooking are very well displayed through his food. I would say every course was better than the last, but honestly, each and ever course was so top-notch/delicious it was hard to pick a favorite. It was so cool to see such high quality food being prepared in our very own kitchen. By the time my husband and I finished our last course, Chef Matt already had our kitchen sparkling clean. He did not leave a single crumb, dish, or piece of trash. I cannot say enough good things about this experience or about Chef Matt. My husband and I were beyond impressed. Chef Matt is an awesome, friendly, personable guy who is beyond talented and an excellent teacher. We have so much admiration for him and his art. We will for sure be booking again!

The reason we asked is because a shortening icing was used for the slice decorating we did a few weeks prior snd the cake was almost inedible. It tasted disgusting. Anyhow, we paid $70 each to do the class. The cake was tiny (half of it is packaged rice crispy treats and it was the disgusting waxy shortening icing out of a plastic bucket. She kept referring to it as buttercream during the whole class and it's Not made with butter at all. There is zero butter and I find this very misleading. At the end of the class we were sent home with our cakes in a large box. The cake didn't survive despite holding it on our lap. This was not worth the money and we can't even enjoy the cake. Oh the Labubu head was made out of rice crispy treat packages (the Kellogg ones) which I also thought was tacky and those taste awful. With all this said, we won't be back. Well find somewhere that uses real ingredients and not a plastic tasting cake that falls apart on the way home. Such a bummer

Simon, a small campus cat, was allegedly struck with a rake by a Cypress College employee. He suffered severe neck and spine injuries and had to be put down. How do you do that to a defenseless animal just trying to survive? Craig Lee, Director of Campus Security, oversees the area where people leave water for the cats. Yet those water sources are repeatedly destroyed. Dr. Scott Thayer has claimed the school provides water for the cats, but that's simply not true. Community members are constantly rushing to bring water because the cats are left without it. Between 2023 and 2024, the campus cat population dropped from 26 to 23. That means three cats are unaccounted for. Where did they go? What happened to them, Dr. Thayer? These are living beings--deserving of answers and transparency.
