I was actually blown away by the quality of the food as it appeared to be in a fast food styled building & not an actual indoor dining place. 6 to a couple of other places within a mile of EZ Kebab & their food wasn't nearly as good as EZ Kebabs. It's good value both in quality, taste & price. I had the half steak & half kafta kabob platter. The hummus was good, and their side salad dressing was to die for! My first time going there a couple of month ago the food was good and pricing was a bit high for what you get. A couple of days ago; I went there and regrettably, the quality has drastically declined and prices were even higher. I ordered the kabob plate, the rice was lumped together, not quite cooked enough. The kabob was charred and burned to a crisp on both sides, the humus tasted as if it was taken straight out of a can. The pita and salad was ok. The portions got smaller too, I remembered the first time I had leftovers that I took home! Not this time though. I hope this isn't a bad omen for the place, because it seemed they're going through construction to expand the seating areas. I would recommend that they go back to the basics. The food was amazing and the beef shawarma (which is hard for most people to get right) reminded me of back home because it was so delicious and done right! Ron was so easy to deal with and open to adding items when I asked for. The customer service pre and post event were great! Ron didn't consider things over once we agreed on the event details. He text me during the event to make sure everything is perfect and post event which is a great customer service and care. As for the station and the event, words aren't enough to describe the deliciousness, freshness and great quality of the food. All the invitees were complimenting me for the choice of the food and mentioning that they cannot stop eating :). The ladies who were in charge of the food station were so sweet, kind and smiley. So due to covid and limited vacation destinations, my fiancé and I have decided to do staycations this summer. We rented a villa in Malibu for the weekend and decided to have about 12 of our friends over. I searched for a few catering options and came across EZ Kebab. They had a 15 person minimum which was fine for us because we wanted left overs! There portion sizes were very generous! We did the 2 protein chicken and beef shawarma with all the condiments, rice, and hummus. We opted to do 2 add ons: the fresh fries and the attendee server for 1 hour! Best decision!!!! I recommend this 100%. So instead of just dropping off the food and leaving, the attendee comes down, sets up the trays of food, set up a fryer and made fresh fries for our guests! It was amazing and our guests loved it. The attendee served everyone, made loaded shawarma bowls, sandwiches, rice bowls and everything that was requested. After the 1 hour, the attendee packed up the fryer and warmers, organized the left over food for us and left. Prices are very good for the service and quality provided. I brought them for my bridal shower. I ordered for 40 people and the portion was way too small it was for 30 people only. The worker were eating from the food too without even asking they wear making plates for themselves too. They were drinking too without even asking us if they can do that. So anytime you order anything from them you have to count the worker who is making shawarma will eat Shawarma too. Beef Shawrma was good but chicken one was so pale and no season. I was so disappointed with the portions they charges so high for very small portion . So if your party is 30 people make sure to order for 60 people. Too over price. And anyone who gave 5 stars here just because they are related to them and they push to make them 5 start but their food portion and the high price not worth it. I catered this company for my 40th birthday (it was 80's theme). From the beginning Roland was very honest, helpful, professional and had great communication skills. I used them for 2 hours but wanted to add an extra hour but Roland said the 2 hours would be sufficient enough which he was right. The extra hour would have been an extra charge so I thank him for being honest. The day of my event his team arrived on time, did a perfect set up, and happily served my guests. They were all so friendly and professional! Now let's talk about the food. Omg so amazing! Everything was so delicious!
