I cannot possibly say enough positive things about The Cheese Block! I, along with a couple other people, planned a wedding shower recently, and we chose The Cheese Block as our main source of food. First of all, Caity and Jason were so easy to work with! They were super-friendly and quick to respond and had great suggestions for customizing our order. The idea of a charcuterie board was a huge hit at the party- everyone loved the concept, the beautiful presentation, and the food itself. Comments I was told, and agree with, include: * What a fun idea! * I've always wanted a party with a huge charcuterie board like this! * Wow, you can tell these cheese are top quality! * This is amazing! * I feel so fancy! * Oh my God, it's beautiful! So if you're not sure if charcuterie is a good option for a celebration, or if you're not sure it's enough of a "meal," yes it is! We had over 50 people at the event. We ordered food for 40, and still had leftovers of everything. There was something for everyone- kids and adults alike The food included: * Several different cheeses (one had real honeycomb on top) * Multiple varieties of bread * A variety of berries and nuts, blood orange slices * Variety of veggies * Ranch dip and jam * A variety of mini sandwiches. I had an Italian one which was a little spicy and absolutely delicious. The pesto seemed to be the crowd favorite. There were at least 1 or 2 other types too. All were enjoyed! The sandwiches had generous portions of fillings in just the right proportions. You could taste every ingredient. I'm sure I'm forgetting things on these lists but suffice it to say- The Cheese Block was one of the highlights of the party.
