Linda has been setting up. She passed hors d'oeuvres but the main course was buffet style.

We hired Fork in the Road to cater a celebration of life event in my back yard and they were awesome! Marisa was terrific to deal with on the front end. She was prompt in responding to inquiries. The menu options were well laid out and the choices plentiful. The costs were very reasonable. Tables were delivered as scheduled and Kyle, the chef, and his assistant Linda arrived on time and were well-organized. And the food was excellent! The shrimp and crab cakes were a favorite. Our guests at the event complimented the food choices and ate well. Everything went so smoothly; I wouldn't change a thing, except maybe get more of the shrimp and crab cakes!

Chef Kyle and Marissa are absolutely amazing. My wife and I have been planning a kind-of last minute wedding reception for the last 2-3 months and we wanted to keep it low key and simple and within a tight budget (we've got a lot going on right now). Searching for a caterer that fit our needs and budget wasn't easy but after searching yelp and contacting a few, Fork in the Road stood out as the clear answer. Not only was Marissa very quick to respond, she was extremely helpful throughout the entire process as our guest count and dietary needs were changing. She was very patient with us as we looked through their options and was very understanding as we worked with our budget. We chose to do buffet style for our reception and we had a nice dinner tasting with Chef Kyle, who is absolutely awesome. There were plenty of options to choose from and we actually had a hard time deciding which to try cause they all sounded great. They even tasted better than they sounded. Chef was accommodating to our taste and catered the flavors to the season and to our taste. On the actual wedding day, Chef and his staff came early and helped set up. His staff was amazing and did a wonderful job serving and keeping the tables cleaned. Chef even offered to buy some of the things we forgot and helped us relieve some stress. Everyone LOVED the food, even my picky family members. There was more than enough food to go around and the abundance of leftovers we had, guests were taking home. The food was easily the highlight of the night and we are 1000000% glad we chose Fork in the Road as our caterer. If you're looking for someone to cater your event, do not hesitate one second and pick them. You will not be disappointed!! Bonus: Chef and his staff even helped clean up the linens and rentals afterwards. They are absolutely amazing.

We used Fork in the Road Catering for our recent wedding and could not have been happier. We had to change our original wedding plans and venue to something more intimate with family at home. Their food and staff transformed our at home wedding into what felt like a real venue. Luther the bartender was the life of the party! Their full service catering was exactly what we wanted since we no longer had a venue and wedding coordinator. Marisa was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process and everyone who cooked and worked our reception made sure every detail was perfect and every person was attended to. I highly recommend working with them for your next event.

I've been eyeing on this catering company for about a year now and we had finally decided to give them a try based on food selections, our budget, customer sevice and reviews. I'm so glad we did. It was for my son's christening. Marisa and Kyle are just amazing! Marisa promptly responded to my email and answered all of my questions. She was even able to honor my request to deliver the food 30 mins earlier than the original plan (I was so glad they were available to do it). Upon arrival, her husband was so nice, friendly and professional. The food was top notch! It was D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S!!!! All of them! From the bread rolls to salad to the main entrees and side dishes. I was concerned in the beginning that the food might not be enough... but I was sooo wrong. Amazing portions and the food are just soooo good. Our family and godparents couldn't stop talking about how yummy the food were. Definitely a great choice! Tap on the back for me! Hahaha. My husband and I really appreciate them and are very happy with your service. You guys are amazing and we highly recommend them. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! We would definitely get you guys again whenever we need catering service. Thank you again and stay safe!

If we remove the pricetag from the equation, I'll say that this is the best Hawaiian food chain that I've had. The company follows the Chipotle "slop bowl" model, but the bowl honestly looks quite elegant. Big Hawaiian Bowl Grilled Chicken: It's the best Hawaiian grilled chicken I've ever had. Soft, juicy, and it's not an overly aggressive flavor profile. It doesn't follow the cookie cutter flavors found in other Hawaiian chains. Chicken Katsu: It's battered chicken. What's not to like? The ranch sauce also complemented it well. White rice: Rice is rice. Assorted vegetables: Normally, this is relegated to inherit the drippings of the meat. Not this time, even the vegetables are amazing. Macaroni: It's the best Hawaiian macaroni that I've had. Coleslaw: It's okay. I may have picked the wrong sauce for it since it was kinda sour. Picking a different sauce if there is a next time. Service: I just picked it up in the ghost kitchen. It was ready by the time I got there. Ambiance: It's a ghost kitchen. The experience was…read moreintimate, warm, and beautifully executed from start to finish...every dish told a story and every detail felt intentional. We began with the Aji tuna on crispy rice, topped with a delicate sliver of jalapeño and crispy shallots, a perfect balance of freshness, spice, and crunch. The second course was Stefanie's famous focaccia...one sweet and one savory. The savory version featured parmesan, her homemade bread and butter, pickles from her garden, and a touch of mustard seed. The bread, made simply with flour, water, and salt, takes two to three days to create. The sweet focaccia was equally impressive, topped with brie, honey, and a guava jam made from her own garden-grown guavas... truly special. Next came the sweet potato course, made from her garden's harvest and paired with roasted pine nuts and coconut-shaved gnocchi in brown butter. The flavors were rich yet comforting, and the presentation was artistic and thoughtful. The main course... short ribs with a stunning potato gratin, was a showstopper. The short ribs were tender and deeply flavorful, garnished with delicate edible flowers from her garden, while the gratin was layered beautifully and topped with a fragrant chimichurri. Dessert was one of the best I've ever had: a sticky toffee date cake with a caramel apple sauce made from apples in her garden, served with raw cream vanilla bean ice cream. The balance of warmth, sweetness, and texture was perfection. The wine pairings, thoughtfully curated by Oscar from Sequoia Grove Winery, elevated the entire experience, from the velvety Merlot to the bold Cabernet, every sip complemented the food flawlessly. What makes Chef Stefanie so special is her warmth and authenticity. She shares her passion for food and where it comes from in a way that's engaging and educational, never pretentious. She spends time presenting each dish beautifully, with an artist's eye and a chef's heart. Her artistry, attention to detail, and genuine love for her craft come through in every course. I'll absolutely be attending her future chef's table events, a beautiful evening of intentional cooking, soulful flavors, and gracious hospitality.
