Last week we went there and usually cannot go without their antipasto, salad and spinach and sausage white pizza, a dish we have enjoyed for the past 40 years. This time however, we wanted meals so I ordered the eggplant Florentine which was delicious and the veal Marcel which was also delicious mom and Pops type restaurant try it you won't be disappointed

Upon arriving to the plaza, which Vito's pizzeria sits in, I thought this was just gonna be another pizza joint. Boy was I wrong! In the entryway was a handwritten chalkboard with specials on it, and I knew this was the real deal Italian restaurant. Not fancy by any means, and there was a mixture of booths and tables, and some booths with tables, go figure! But man, oh man, the menu, the service. Just the vibe felt like I was back just outside of Chicago in one of the first real Italian restaurants I've ever went to. My friend and I were seated by the grandson of the owner. And the waitress came over and greeted us so warmly. I almost wanted to take her home with me lol I started off with a bottle of Yuengling beer. It just hit the spot. But on the blackboard, I saw Pork stew. This is an Italian staple, so I just had to try it. Freaking amazing!!! I had a cup of it and I could've made a meal out of this stew. Served with the soup were small dinner rolls that just came out out of the oven, not microwaved, and I think frittata. This was garlic and salty and all deliciousness. So my friend and I ordered a large pizza with hamburger sausage and pepperoni on it. This definitely was not a Greek style thick pizza nor was it thin, thin, thin, Italian a beetz. This was more of a medium crust with homemade sauce fresh mozzarella, and the toppings were very generous. But let me tell you about the crust. This pizza crust was buttery yet crunchy. This crust was probably one of the best pizza crusts I've ever had. I knew this pizza dough was fresh probably made this morning. After all of this deliciousness and feeling at home and getting full... I remember what I saw on the chalkboard.... An amazing dessert, menu, consisting of tiramisu, lemon ricotta cake, and some other Italian delicacies. I ordered a lemon ricotta slice of cake that was homemade by the grandma of this restaurant which was out of this world. I love bakery stuff and I love Mozzacato bakery, but this slice of heaven was so tasty. I needed to give a hug somewhere, but I refrained. This restaurant is true Italian. The menu is small, but so full of Italian dishes, and boy I wanna come back here so bad, really quick. Parking was a breeze, I actually parked right in front of the place, and the restrooms were clean. The place was steady with business, but the takeout looked extremely busy. I tipped the server 30% on a $50 bill due to her to her kind and caring service. This was the deal of deals that I haven't seen in a long time. Wethersfield is known for Italians families. Vito's is an Italian family restaurant, you just can't go wrong.

Tough to give 3 stars but the service was too disjointed- no menus, food with no silverware, couldn't explain the difference in the two red sauces offered with the pasta. Always enjoy the hit eggplant salad but the bread was rushed from the oven and the cheese wasn't browned at all. New menu and the entrees don't come with a house salad anymore- still probably some of the best take out grinders

Cute colorful table decoration. I loved it

I work a stone's throw from here, so I tried Vito's yesterday for a grab and go delicious dinner! The quick service, the impeccably packed to go bag which did not leak, and the attentiveness of the crew won me over! The food was 10 stars! As Arnold said I WILL BE BACK. With all the many choices nearby, you really know your stuff. In your plaza, there are two other dining places that fade out next to you.

So many good options at Vito's. I especially love their subs. They are huge and packed with all you favorite meats and veggies. I went with a large ham this time and it could feed an army. Always look forward to going back!

Penne a la vodka and spicy salad with extra salmon

Came here last night with my best friend. We sat in the bar area and were met with the sweetest server. I'm sad I didn't get her name. I ordered a dirty martini which was good. The bread rolls and garlic bread served were delicious and fresh. I had the salmon on top of the spicy cherry pepper anchovy salad. They were out of anchovy so hooked me up with extra fish. The salad and dressing were great, crisp and very flavorful. The value was amazing. My best friend got the penne aka vodka. Every time we go to an Italian restaurant, she orders penne a la vodka so when she says it was so good, I believe her. We will definitely be back. Especially since Vito's is so close to my house. I can't believe it's taken me this long to get here. Thank you!

Grated cheese pizza extra sauce! Highly recommend this amazing pizza

Food here is excellent the mozzarella sticks I had were very good and loved how they were homemade. The truffle fries were a special for tonight and I finished them easily. The grated cheese pizza I got was fantastic cheese sauce all of it was much better than I anticipated. Our waitress was really nice and the busser that was going around was really nice and very attentive to everything. Definitely recommend coming here. Also of Fridays they have live music where a gentleman plays the piano and it's a very nice touch and makes me want to come back here even more

Cosmo italiano from the martini list!

We ordered the triple appetizer, and the kitchen gave us chicken tenders instead of the arancini that we ordered, so they gave it to us on the house. The servers were attentive and kind, and quick to fix our order. - Arancini, (4.25/5): I've never cared for Arancini but this changed my mind- the ball was perfectly cwisp and fried, with a not toooo mushy cheesy center - Calamari, (4.5/5): so good! I love lemon on mine, and it came with this addictive sour spicy mayo dip- top notch sauce - Meatballs, (4/5): tasted pretty standard- not too dry and very beefy with acidic tomato to cut through the meat - Chicken tenders, (4.5/5): surprisingly very good - very juicy with crackly batter and had a great dipping sauce - Small Calabrese Apizza, (5/5): wow! this pizza is sooo light and airy. I am not a big crust person, but I ate the whole slice. the dough is so chewy, the pizza itself was flavorful and light. the waiter recommended us to get a small since we got appetizers... but tbh the 2 of us could've tackled a bigger pie as certified big backs Very happy to have tried Sally's!

Walking in it felt very spacious and open had a great upscale looking vibe going on. With an open patio covered in flowers so cute. The Staff was super tentative and on top of their game. Very accommodating and made things go very smoothly even in a room full of adults & kids! The food was delicious and all the appetizers came out fast and fresh. The calamari was super crispy and had a great sauce for dipping! My steak came out perfectly medium rare just how I like it and portions were huge! Only thing i would say is the charcuterie board was alright because the pickled veggies and olives were so salty in my opinion. But overall everything else was great! Espresso martini's were super strong and the assorted desserts hands down my fav part! i think my favorite would be the lemon dessert it was so light, I couldn't believe it was cheesecake. I would deff come back again!!!!

We sat outside to enjoy the nice weather. I would definitely recommend sitting out there if you can. Waitress- I wish I remembered her name because she was amazing. Coffee is brewed to order which makes a difference. He tried the mx to Milan but didn't feel it was strong enough. Turns out this drink is prepaid every morning. So he got a White Russian and was pleased. Apps: you must try the mussels and radish dish as well as the meatballs. You will thank me later. Main Course: chicken parmigiana was huge and delicious. The pasta that came with it was a little under cooked. But it heated up nicely the next day. I got the 12oz prime flatiron steak with mash and asparagus. Cooked perfectly. Dessert- we devoured the torta caprese

We placed orders for 12 of us over the phone today, we went to pick up the goods around an hour later. I got their Italian Sandwich this time. Previously I've had several of the salads. I think collectively my office has had their entire menu. From sandwiches, to salads, to pizzas, to lasagna and more. Every single meal has always been super fresh, where all you can hear is "mmmmmMmmmms..." My lunch was served on a freshly baked Italian hoagie roll, filled with roasted peppers, ham, tomatoes, mixed greens, capicola and provolone cheese. In addition to each and every single ingredient being super fresh, this was also a very large portion. I could have easily shared the other half with someone else, had it on another day or ate it right after the first portion... which one did I do? The restaurant it's self is little and very cute, it was full at 12:00 o'clock today. If you're looking for a quick and fresh lunch or dinner around the Wethersfield area, Lenoci's will check each of your boxes.

My husband really enjoyed his traditional cheese pizza as well! It was great to find a new haven style pizza joint further into the state. They also serve Detroit style pizza which I'd be interested in trying next time. The only downside was not having room to try the italian ricotta donuts that look and sound amazing (which JG doesn't start serving till 5pm). I guess that means we'll just have to go back! 10 out of 10 for JG, we shall return!
