I. Love. This. Place…read more The first time I went here was a year ago when I lived in Southlands. I live in Denver now but I liked this place so much that I made the 30 minute drive to drive all the way back for my exam yesterday! The doctor is wonderful. It's a husband and wife team but both times I have seen the husband (I'm bad with names). He is so personable and they must have a little note in the computer because he asked me how nursing school was going and if I was almost done! The ladies working the glasses section are so helpful. Jacquie was helping me yesterday and she is very knowledgable about insurance and frames. She helped me pick awesome frames that were ever so slightly out of my boring comfort zone and I love them! I also had an old pair of Ray Ban sunglasses that I wanted to know if they could put prescription lenses in. They could! So yesterday I got new frames and prescription eyeglasses and prescriptions put in my favorite sunglasses! I mentioned off hand that I had class later that day so Jacquie told me it'd be about an hour for BOTH pairs of glasses. I shopped around the mall for only 40 minutes before I got a call saying both pairs were done and when I came in Jacquie asked if I'd be making it to class in time. I very much recommend this place, even if you have to drive a bit to get there. They have a great selection and great staff. I'll be coming back next year for sure! Thanks guys!!

I just left this location and would not recommend. I walked in and there were two ladies sitting in…read morethe middle. Not very welcoming. Apparently they were making a supplies order for white out, etc. I browsed frames for a good 10 minutes or more and not once did someone ask if I needed help or if I had questions. The older white heavyset lady with white hair asked a gentlemen if he needed help right when he walked in. The other middleaged heavyset lady with dark hair was too busy or in a rush to get to lunch. I walked out because you do not deserve my business if you can't acknowledge a potential customer. It's a freaking Lenscrafters not a Gucci store.

I had FSA funds to use so with my prescription in hand, I checked in to America's Best hoping to…read moreget computer glasses quick and at a reasonable price. The frame selection here is fashionable with a range of price points, but service is somewhat mediocre. It started off well......I was greeted promptly and allowed to browse, but once I had my selection, it took a while to get assistance (this being a Monday evening with only one other customer present). Once I did meet with a sales person, I placed my order and was was told my glasses would be ready in 10-14 days. Fast forward three weeks and I hadn't been contacted. When I called, they said my glasses were ready and that an automated system "should have" notified me, but I never received a call, vmail or email. Pickup was quick, but the staff were not friendly. I was fitted for my glasses than ushered out quickly as if my being there was an inconvenience. I guess (you) get what you pay for. Not that I was expecting white glove service but AB is a miss when it comes to service.

Chose the chain for the prices, will be loyal to the Southlands location for the excellent customer…read moreservice! I did experience a problem not typical for most customers. The entire team was outstanding. They listened and communicated different options for resolution. In today's world, employees are hard to come by in general, let alone knowledgeable, helpful employees, trust me! FIVE STARS for Southlands America's Best and an extra shout out to manager Leah who went above and beyond to listen, understand, and offer a variety of solutions. ~happy customer since 8/2024 darcy

We love this office - Dr. Hankenson had been our doctor for over 20 years. He has the best 'chair'…read moreside manners. He remembers you and all your issues and family member. Please come here and support these guys

BE SURE TO READ THE OTHER 1 STAR REVIEWS HERE. Dr…read more Hankenson did the quickest eye exam i ever had. He had me look at the little red barn and read a few lines of letters. No dilation, no eye pressure test & none of the standard questions ODs use to assess serious issues. He seemed more interested in telling my husband and i all about his Colorado road trips. Then, Dr H retrieved a copy of my prescription from another room, came back and said "everything looks great!" No details. I am 53 and i feel like my vision has declined in the past 3 years. So, i asked Dr. H if he could use my glasses to compare how much my vision had changed. "Of course!" He took my glasses & disappeared, returned momentarily & announced, "it hasn't changed much at all!" Again, he provided no data & no details, which seemed odd. The entire exam took 10 minutes, max. On the way home, i had forgotten to ask for a prescription for Bimatoprost . left a message with the receptionist. (i was surprised that i had to explain what it is!) As so many other reviews have said, the office staff is totally incompetent. The message the receptionist took was that i needed a prescription for Prazapam - a medication prescribed for insomnia & anxiety! When Dr H returned my call, he was also confused about what it was i needed but seemed more interested scolding - yes, SCOLDING - me, accusing me of YELLING at his staff on the phone. What i suspect is that this OD accused me of yelling to deflect from his own incompetence. Scolding a patient is a sure way to get them to go somewhere else as they are about to realize that this OD is nothing but a silly quack.
