Went in to order contacts for my son and I (as I do every year) and they were busy so I browsed the frames waiting for them to finish up. I was asked what I needed help with and told them I needed to order two sets of contacts (I already had the prescriptions) and they said they would be right with me. Another woman walked in the shop and they immediately helped her and ignored me. I left (while they were trying to explain away the rudeness-and NO she didn't have an appt.) and went to the Target on Gartrell and ordered contacts. They missed out on literally the EASIEST sale ever. read more

Horrible experiences. Employees will stall and have WIFI and printers 'go off line or act up' to keep you there longer if you are not immediately purchasing eyewear. Then they will continue to try and sell to you. False insurance claims made - manager stated, 'employees never lie - so EOBs and customers must.' read more

So, it was my birthday last Thursday, 1/11 and I desperately needed new glasses because my lenses were completely scratched. Target optical was on my insurance plan so I made an appointment on Wednesday and drove to see the optometrist, Dr E M at Target. She seemed nice and started the typical vision test then started coughing and using antibacterial gel every minute. I asked her candidly if she was sick and she said "I WAS but now I just have a persistent annoying cough" as she used the whole huge vat of antibacterial gel (as she breathed all over my face) which is only good for BACTERIAL infections, not a cold or cough. Hey, I'm no doctor but I would NEVER come to work sick especially as a "health care professional". She completely forgot to give me the glaucoma test or clean my glasses so I could drive home safely. I opted out since it takes Target 4-6 weeks to order new lenses. She also told me I had a suspicious freckle on my retina which she would have an ophthalmologist in Parker call me to schedule an appointment the next day. Today is Tuesday, 1/16. I have a cough and feel that upper respiratory infection coming on, thanks to "Dr" E M Stay away from yet another horrible place in Parker, Colorado!!! Also, no call from any ophthalmologist. Thanks for ruining my birthday and getting me sick!!! Emily needs to stay home when she's sick. Ughhhhh. Complaint filed with the OD board. Follow up 8 days later... I'm on antibiotics for a secondary ear infection and now my spouse is sick as a dog AND we have to fly tomorrow both with painful secondary ear infections. Hey Emily, next time you are sick, STAY HOME!!! P.S. my freckle has been there since 2012 and it's flat so maybe you should ask for comparison studies before freaking your patients out due to your inexperience!!! read more

After years of rudeness and poor customer service from another provider in the Parker area I decide to give Dr. Mccart a try,. I found Dr.McCart and her staff to be professional, polite, and helpful. As a bonus the prices at er practice are more affordable and reasonable than other providers in the area. read more

Poor costumer service they seems to not know enough how to sell and explain insurance benefits so I didn't get my glass with them. They show one price but with insurance is more expensive! so you ended up paying more!? What is that! read more

Dr. Emily McCart is very thorough and professional. She is *very* accommodating and wasn't upset at all when I had to take an urgent work call right before our exam started, which made the exam start a few minutes late. Her contact lens exam prices are in line with other independent practices and they're lower than large chains that I've used before. I'm glad I chose her! read more

The doctor was professional and friendly, and the visit went fine, however they messed up the order on my glasses and never called to tell me about it. It wasn't until I called multiple times about my glasses, 11 days after my appointment, that they put the order through a second time to correct the issue. I now have to wait an additional week. I could and probably should have taken the prescription elsewhere for glasses. read more

I have been patient of Dr. McCart for years now and cannot speak highly enough about her. I am consistently impressed with how knowledable and friendly everyone in her office is. When I select a new pair of frames everyone helps! Visits are quick but thorough and they have this really cool non-invasive machine that maps the inside of your eyes. read more

Do not go here! I walked in and ordered the most expensive pair of glasses they could make. The lenses were far inferior to that of other optical centers. The equipment the doctor uses to diagnose you is very out dated. It is no wonder why they got my perscription wrong, and then when I tried to go somewhere else they ate refusing to refund anything. I am currently in the process of suing Target/Target Optical so they don't do this to anyone else. read more

My family and I have had nothing but GREAT experiences at Target Optical. We moved here from California and searched around for a new optometrist. Luckily, I found Dr McCart and Dr Wilson. We have seen Dr McCart for 2 years now and LOVE her and her staff! The front office staff are always helpful, patient and accommodating with whatever needs my family may have. Dr McCart is so patient with my children (4 and 7 years old) during their exams. She has such a calm and friendly demeanor, my kids love her (what kid says that about a doctor?!). The office has up to date eye equipment which I appreciate being in the medical field. I'm sad to see some of these bad reviews. I've never had a bad experience. Give them a chance, you won't regret it! read more

He helped me out picking the perfect prescription sunglasses and I couldn't be any happier. He also made sure it is something I can afford and something I like. My husband and I went to Target Optical in Parker on December 31st. The doctor was great and on time. The assistant who worked with us was apparently fairly new and had to enter our orders several times. She had to ask for help from the other employees repeatedly. It turned into a very lengthy process. We were told it would be about ten days for the glasses (we ordered four pairs). We went to pick up three of the four on January 11th; the fourth pair was going to take longer and we were advised of this fact at the time of ordering. Two of the three were fine but the third was clearly the wrong prescription as they were a simple set of reading glasses and I couldn't read anything! The assistant became quite rude as if It were my fault. read more

when i scheduled an appt i asked how much would contact lens exam would be, the guy i talked to said $90 and i asked again bc $90 doesn't sound right to me, usually its more than reg eye exam, but he was sure that it was $90. i called again the next day, same guy said $90 so i kept my appt, i go to my appt and i was checking out, the guy goes its $145 so i told him, well i was told it was $90 and the girl worker there was like no its $145 and she apologized. i told them well if i knew it was $145 i would of went to a different place but he made sure 3 times its $90! ridiculous and these workers needs to be better trained for customers services and know their work! once i got my new prescription and sample contract lens to try, its didnt work out for me. so i called to see what they can do they gave me a new samples of lens to try, but it was the same prescription as my old prescription, so i called them to let them know that why would you give me my old prescription when my eye sights have changed and the old ones are not working for me anymore so thats why i came to get a new appt and to get new prescription, so then then they gave me 3rd sample lens to try, these are again not working for me. i dont know what the deal with this place but i dont recommended this optical at all and i completely wasted my time and money. now im out of $145 and without the right prescription, and i have to go somewhere else that knows their information and right prescription. more money out of pocket for me and more time to waste. do not go to this target optical. worse ever!! read more

Purchased glasses in December. The arm on the glasses always bowed way out. I took the glasses in to adjust on two occasions with very inexperienced staff. Brought back in because they continue to slide around and now I'm told they need to be sent in but I never purchased the insurance and it would take 5 months to get them back. Not sure what the cost would be but can't possibly wait 5 months. I only wear the glasses at night after I take out my contacts. She informed me that I must have sat on them, which is ridiculous. I've had them 5 months and they have never fit properly. The previous manager was awesome but this gal is indifferent and doesn't care. Spend the money to go somewhere reputable and with experienced staff. read more

I've had trouble finding an eye doctor I like, and I'm so happy to have found Dr. McCart! She's friendly, professional, and makes my visits enjoyable. I never feel like I'm being rushed through and she takes time to answer all my questions. The office has state-of-the-art equipment that you can choose to use rather than having your eyes dilated, which is great. The rest of the staff there are always very friendly and helpful, and I would recommend this office to anyone! read more
