Even Dan the optician offers sound advice about fitting me with the best pair of glasses. Each time I visit here I'm greeted with smiles all around. After the first visit and fitting for glasses I knew I was in good hands. The office is laid out nicely and even the bathroom is a quick skip and a jump from the receptionists. The vibe here is very down to earth and cozy. Don't get too comfortable though. Gotta get those eyes checked and keep them healthy!

No dilation, no eye pressure test & none of the standard questions ODs use to assess serious issues. He seemed more interested in telling my husband and i all about his Colorado road trips. Then, Dr H retrieved a copy of my prescription from another room, came back and said "everything looks great!" No details. I am 53 and i feel like my vision has declined in the past 3 years. So, i asked Dr. H if he could use my glasses to compare how much my vision had changed. "Of course!" He took my glasses & disappeared, returned momentarily & announced, "it hasn't changed much at all!" Again, he provided no data & no details, which seemed odd. The entire exam took 10 minutes, max. On the way home, i had forgotten to ask for a prescription for Bimatoprost . left a message with the receptionist. (i was surprised that i had to explain what it is!) As so many other reviews have said, the office staff is totally incompetent. The message the receptionist took was that i needed a prescription for Prazapam - a medication prescribed for insomnia & anxiety! When Dr H returned my call, he was also confused about what it was i needed but seemed more interested scolding - yes, SCOLDING - me, accusing me of YELLING at his staff on the phone. What i suspect is that this OD accused me of yelling to deflect from his own incompetence. Scolding a patient is a sure way to get them to go somewhere else as they are about to realize that this OD is nothing but a silly quack.

When I brought this up, their attitude completely changed. Instead of acknowledging the discrepancy, they acted defensive and dismissive. It's clear they're taking advantage of patients by upselling outdated frames at ridiculous markups. This place is preying on innocent customers, and their shady, money-hungry practices are nothing short of a scam. Shame on the director and the team for treating patients this way. Beware of hidden fees and poor communication…read more My daughters and I have been coming here for a couple of years, and while the staff is generally fine, my most recent experience was disappointing enough that we won't be returning. I decided to purchase eyeglasses for the first time in years to give my eyes a break from contacts. The frames I wanted weren't in store, but I was told I could return them within a week if I wasn't satisfied. No one mentioned a restocking fee or any exchange limitations. When I returned the glasses six days later (because I couldn't see well through them and they didn't fit my face), I was told I'd be charged a 25% restocking fee--and only allowed one exchange if I chose another pair. This was never communicated upfront. The employee claimed it was "in the contract," but I was never told I was signing a contract--just handed papers I assumed were my receipts. Now I'm out $75 for a pair of glasses I couldn't use. I would have happily gone somewhere like Warby Parker, where the policies are clearly communicated and customer-friendly. Very disappointed in the lack of transparency. I hope they reconsider how they handle customer education and returns.
