Awful customer service. I have used this business for several years. I wear contacts and prefer the daily ones but my insurance Only has a 200.00 allowance so I have always just ordered 6 months worth, paid the difference and double worn them (I know, I know it's bad but they are very expensive and I simply cannot afford the full year) fast forward to my last visit, I got my check up and ordered my usual 6 months worth, paid the difference and went on my way. About a week later I received a reimbursement check in the mail, we called the office and were told that my prescription was now deemed "medically necessary " and my contacts were completely covered. Awesome. Within a few weeks I received the other 6 month supply in the mail from this office. Months and months go by, all the while I get at least one text message every few weeks from this office stating that I still have benefits and should Come in and get more product, I ignore them because I have enough and don't need anymore. They escalate to emailing "reminders" that I still have benefits and should come get products, again I am annoyed but ignore the constant barrage of marketing. So yesterday, I get a bill from Parker Vision Specialists stating that I now owe 885.00 for the second 6 months of contacts that I never asked for . We called and talked to Ellen who was rude as hell and we're basically told that we now have to call our Insurance deal with it because it's not their problem. She suggested I return the contacts that I received LAST YEAR to get a refund as if I wouldnt have used them after I was told they are covered. Insane that I would be charged for something I didn't ask for, and was told it was completely covered, not to mention she was completely rude about it, not apologetic and completely unconcerned. I called my insurance and was told that Parker Vision Specialists never got the Authorization from my insurance that the second set of lenses would be covered and they chose to send them anyway. Our insurance put us on hold and called the office to try to figure things out, they also spoke to Ellen who told them that they never got an authorization for the second set of lenses and told my insurance "she didn't know they had to get an authorization before sending our product" , she also wished the Insurance company agent good luck in trying to find out what happened and tracing back . Not only is this completely unprofessional but it seems like some Sort of scam to me. Our insurance has zero record of them ever trying to get an authorization for The second set of lenses. I will never step foot into this office again and highly suggest if you are looking for an optometry office you go somewhere else. They could care less about their patients and only have concern about pushing products, even if means sticking you with the bill. read more

Last July, I had an eye exam and later found out that the kid doing my eye exam was in high school there for the summer to get experience. He was being trained by another very young man that might have been in training as well. The poor kid didn't know how to interact with patients and actually asked me "How heavy are you?" instead of How much do you weigh. They actually laughed about it in the hallway after leaving the room and I could hear them. I wasn't that offended because I am not overweight, but still, totally unprofessional. Well, the big problem is that I ordered reading glasses from them based on his unprofessional eye exam and I also used the same prescription to order another pair of glasses from another place. My prescription was totally off! When I received my very expensive glasses from Parker Vision, I could not see anything and called them back to figure out what was wrong. Then I had another exam with an actual doctor and found that my prescription was way off! So much time and money spent trying to figure out the right prescription. The funny thing is that Parker Vision said you can replace the expensive reading glasses ONE time, even though it was there fault this all happened. Thank goodness, after the real doctor checked my eyes, that readers worked fine. But with the other pair I ordered with their prescription that did not work, after returning them and getting the credit put back onto my insurance, it was too late too use it again in that calendar year. read more

One of my children woke with an eye infection. They were able to squeeze us in same day to look at her eyes, even though we were new patients. I really appreciate an office that makes time for emergencies. The staff was friendly. Office was clean. Service was prompt. They were able to determine the problem and prescribe a medication to help. They called in the prescription. By the time we drove to the pharmacy they were already processing the prescription. From start to finish everything went so smoothly. I recommend checking them out next time you're looking for an optometry office. It looks like they have a nice selection of glasses as well if you're needing frames. read more

The WORST customer service experience I've EVER had! Not only did they have a poor selection of children's glasses, the staff failed to let me know I needed to bring in insurance information along with my Daughter's prescription information. Once I called them with that information, they put in the insurance information incorrectly, and then claimed they were too busy to talk to me or find her insurance while putting in the WRONG information repeatedly. They proceeded to keep me on hold for a total of 3-4 hours over a total of 2 days when I asked to speak with the doctor. They also took my credit card information and never followed through with providing me a glasses quote and what it would cost when put through to insurance. They never looked up the payment information, and then refused to help me when I called them to ask where this information was. "Emily", the snotty "manager", left a rude voicemail saying they couldn't help me due to "my interactions with the staff"- a staff that was incompetent, slow, rude, and proven time and again to be completely stupid and unprofessional. She also hung up on me several times as well. I've spoken with the BBB, who let me know their extremely unprofessional manner is grounds to file a complaint, and they'll be hearing from them next. read more

I was just in there to pick up some glasses for my daughter. While we were waiting I was trying on some glasses for myself as I have an upcoming appointment. After trying on a couple pairs an extremely rude woman (maybe the office manager) came up and said if you are trying on glasses you need to put them on the tray after. There were no posted signs about that and we did not have to do that when my daughter tried on her glasses. She then stood behind the desk and glared at me and my daughter. Her customer service was extremely rude and uncalled for. So if you need glasses don't try on too many pairs. They don't like that. read more

I've had mixed experiences over the past few years going to this practice. Scheduling exams can be hard (several weeks out) and customer service at the front desk lacking. As a result, I've switched to another practice in Parker that was able to get me in for an exam within a couple weeks and also get me taken care of with ordering contact lenses. They made it all seem so easy which helps reinforce the decision to switch. read more

The office is very nice when you walk in. The staff are nice people and make you feel comfortable. I went in to the office because of flashing light in my peripheral vision. I was told my insurance was accepted and I needed an Optomap scan, but wasn't told a price or given an option to refuse. Oh well, at least they can check for disease easily that way. I went through a dilation and exam, but no issues were found. I was told I needed a follow up visit in two weeks. Ok, no big deal. I go to the counter and schedule my follow up and pay my copay. Two weeks later I go in to the office for a follow up and get another optomap scan and dilation. No issues are found (I still have the flashing occurring and my second visit was at the end of May; it is now mid September), so I go to the counter. I'm told I owed my copay. I had forgotten my wallet, so they said no worries and I could pay once I received the bill. Cool! A few weeks later I receive the bill. Much to my surprise, it is for $140. I call the office back to inquire and am told that the insurance company denied the bill and weren't going to pay because the office was OUT OF NETWORK! The office said there is nothing they can do to reduce the charges out of fear of "insurance fraud" since the claim had already been sent. They set up a payment situation for me so I paid $70 of the bill and saved up money to pay the other $70. About a month later I receive another bill from them for $110! What?!? They did nothing to remedy the situation and I feel like I'm just a wallet to them. I spent $260 for them to tell me nothing is wrong when I was under the impression my bill would be $120 ($40 copay each time and $40 optomap). Other offices I have visited have not charged for follow up visits if nothing else was found, but this office LOVES to take your money. In the end, the staff is nice, doctors are nice, but it seems like an act to get your hard earned cash. I will NOT be returning nor recommending anyone to visit this office. read more

It can be a bit slow when they are busy, but that is not surprising. They do a good job on fitting the glasses to your needs, and the quality of the lenses is high. read more

The office is super clean and inviting and they are always updating their equipment so you know your getting the best possible exam. Saddened by the way we were treated at our last visit at Parker Vision Specialists. I called to make an appointment for my teenage daughters to get evaluated for contacts as they're in sports and can't wear their glasses. The receptionist or whoever picked up, explained that since they weren't due for an eye exam until March and their last prescription was done in March that I would have to pay out of pocket for the eye exam. Fine. I was good with that. She indicated it would take some time because for contacts they need to try them on and come in multiple times before they can be ordered. I said "ok. I understand" they went ahead and scheduled them for the soonest availability, February 22nd at 1:45 and 2:15... I wrote down everything they told me on my end. I asked to be added to a cancellation list and was told it was highly unlikely I would get a call back. Within a day I received a text message that said they needed to know immediately if I wanted an appointment that same day at 1:15 and that I needed to respond soon as it was first come first serve. I responded immediately and got the appointment scheduled. Pulled some strings and had my dad bring my daughter and my husband pick her up. I called to find out what was done/discovered etc and I was told they didn't even discuss contacts they just did a routine exam?! I wanted to find out what the next steps are and they said I needed to set up a contact appointment!!! Hello????? That's what this was supposed to be!! Apparently since my 13 year old didn't say "I'm here for a contact exam" NOR WAS SHE ASKED WHY SHE WAS THERE since she didn't indicate that they just did whatever they wanted and charged me for it. My poor dad paid the $20 and left. I demanded my money back and they said "you're not getting your money back, you received an exam" NOT THE EXAM I SCHEDULED!!!! Now, I've called and asked the doctors to give me a call but Emily probably refused to relay the message. So here is this :) Parker, beware. The front desk has no idea what they're doing and has no idea to put notes in the appointment scheduler to indicate what the appointment is for. I advice not sending anyone that's a senior citizen as I'm sure they just get told whatever they want to hear. read more

Let me begin by saying that Dr. Kyle Gilbert and his exam were top notch. This review is pointed towards the Opticians and Front Desk staff. After receiving one of the most thorough eye exams that I ever received from Dr. Gilbert, I was directed to the front of the office to meet with an Optician regarding ordering a new pair of glasses. I explained to the Optician that I am a hard fit for glasses, as it seems that I need round lenses else I cannot see out of anywhere but dead center. The Optician showed me some frames and advised me that any of the selections she has shown me would work fine for me. I chose a frame, measurements were taken, and I was on my way to wait for 7-10 business days. 7 business days later, I was notified that my new glasses were ready. I headed over to the office to pick them up. Lo and behold, I experienced the exact issue that I advised them there would be. More measurements were taken, and since they did not have any frames in the office that the new Optician thought would work, some were ordered. I again was to wait until they came in. 5 business days later, I was notified that the frames were in and that I could come choose one. As the Optician ordered these frames in specifically for me to try on, I was again advised that any of these should work for me. I selected a frame, and was again to wait. This made the 3rd visit to this office in as many weeks, still with no new glasses. 5 business days later, I was notified by text message that my glasses were in for pickup. As I was down with the flu, I was not able to make it until the following day. This lead us to today, when I went in to pick up the glasses. Sure enough, the same problem was present. I was told by the Optician, the same one that order these frames in for try-on, that they were too big and that could be the issue. She also wanted me to schedule another appointment to have the prescription checked, which their office just provided. She was also going to have to order more frames in, and the process would repeat. I explained to the Optician that I was only going to come back one more time and that this process was absurd. I then left the office. As I was heading out to my car, I decided that enough was enough and that I was just going to get a refund and go elsewhere. Upon re-entering the store, the Office Manager came out and told me that they were just going to give me a refund, before I even asked, effectively declining my business. Since I was ok with this, we went ahead and processed the refund...except instead of processing the refund to my card, they *charged* me the refund amount. Now I have no new glasses, a hold on my funds in my checking account, a refund that will post in 5-7 business days, and a very bad taste in my mouth for this unprofessional front office staff. I would not recommend this office for anything other than an eye exam. read more

The girl that helped me with frame selection is up-to-date on styles and very insightful as to what does or does not look good. Don't go here! What a shame because I really liked Dr. Kincaid, but the entire office staff is terrible. I got really sick after coming here for the 1st time. A girl working in the office was coughing horribly and "Diego" who took me back commented, "everyone here is sick". great. I reported this to the state of Colorado Health Board and let Dr. Kincaid know. The 2nd time I had to come in someone else who worked there was coughing again no mask, nothing. Nothing was being wiped off either. Then I got billed $90 for a routine eye exam I was told was free; covered. I called Aetna and was told I do not owe this and they have turned them in for being out of Medicare compliance. They could lose their Medicare contract. They charged me for a Premium eye exam instead of a standard which is what I was told. I won't go back there. They also never gave me my prescription. I have been on the phone for over an hour with Aetna. There is some kind of fraud going on here between the office and Eyemed. read more
