Got my prescription at this place and it's done wrong, and between glasses and contacts it costed me $1,000. You typically trust the doctor so I didn't complain in the 90-day timeframe because I was trying hard to adjust, and the result is that I spent a lot of money having to redo my glasses plus I got $600 in contact lenses ordered under my insurance that they didn't want to replace ( because of 15 late according to their policy). Moreover, the customer service was terrible, so I'm left with almost $1,000 loss because of a wrong prescription. The store didn't want to take responsibility because of the time lapsed, and now I'm left to contact corporate office to try to only get at least my contact lenses replaced. Horrible experience, and they looked at me as if I was the bad guy. read more

I went into the Pearle Vision in Parker to pick up a new frame we had purchased for my daughter. While I was waiting I asked another sales associate if she could adjust a nose piece on my glasses. My glasses were not purchased from Pearle so I wasn't expecting much of an adjustment. However, she took 15 minutes adjusting the nose brackets and even put on new nose pads for me. Such nice service with glasses that were not purchased there. Thank you for your great customer service. Next year when my insurance is up for new glasses I will definitely stop by this Pearle Vision. read more

My experience with Pearl Vision was extremely underwhelming. I came in to order prescription eyeglasses in early March. It was my first time ordering and picking out eyeglasses. The sales associate who helped me had a bit of an attitude, and I definitely felt like I was being "upsold" for the product. I purchased my glasses, and after waiting 2 weeks they were ready for pickup. I came to pick them up, and I had to ask if I could make sure they were right before leaving. When I tried them on at the desk, the lenses of the glasses literally fell off onto the floor!! The frame was also completely cracked in half and broken. These were Michael Kohrs glasses too, and were not cheap. I had originally paid 241 dollars for the eyeglasses all together. The sales associate grabbed the lenses with her finger, and said they could order a new frame. I felt that my business was not valued, and was not comfortable waiting to have them fixed- seeing the first result, and how flimsy they were. I ended up getting a complete refund, as my whole experience was lackluster. I find this unacceptable, that the glasses were immediately broken. I ended up taking my business to Target Optical, where I had a much better experience. For future customers, I hope your staff will do a better inspection of the product. This is also a huge inconvenience because I actually really need the glasses, and have been having eye discomfort and strain. Now I will have to wait another two weeks because of this lazy mistake. read more

I started searching for an eye doctor for my 8 year old daughter when I was told there was over a month wait to get her into our pediatric eye doctor. Check in was very easy, just fill out a few forms. They did not try to push a bunch of additional exams on us. My daughters eyes were red and irritated from swimming in the pool earlier in the day. The girl performing the screenings was great. We were directed to a room to wait for Dr. Dixon. Within a minute or two he came in the room. He instantly put my daughter and I at ease. He took a few notes on his computer and walked my daughter through each step of the exam. She can be a bit nervous but Dr. Dixon was great. My future little scientist loved that before walking out of the exam he even showed her the pictures of the back of her eyes, pointing out every little detail and explained the function of everything in her eye. When we walked out he directed us to the children's glasses. My daughter was disappointed that they didn't have a large selection of kids glasses but after Dr. Dixon assured her that she may fit in to an adult pair she was able to find just what she was looking for. Our insurance covered all of the glasses except a very small copay and a fee for the upgrade to transition lenses. My husband and I plan to go here when it's time for our next pair of glasses. read more

Dr. Dixon is great! He's always kind and genuine and helpful. The girls up front are helpful and pleasant too, which is not super common for medical-type practices. My kids like Dr. Dixon too, even the one who hates almost everyone. Dr. Dixon found a way to relate to him right away, which made my son more trusting to have his eye exam done. My exam with Dr. Dixon was the best I've ever had. He was extremely friendly and not only provided stellar service, he also took the time to get to know me personally. He truly took the time to make sure I was getting the best contacts for my eyes and also allowed me to try several brands before buying them. Their prices for eye exams and contact fittings are great too! I also enjoyed that I wasn't left waiting in the room forever for the Doctor to show up. It was really a nice change of pace. The office is clean, well maintained, and they have free wifi. I love the website and the fact that you can schedule an appointment online. Appalling customer service with no accountability or sincere apology received from the optical assistant, Mia, OR the owner, Dr. Ben Dixon. After arriving on time for my eye exam, I waited 45 minutes to be seen. In retrospect, this was the first sign that customer care is not a priority at Pearle Vision. I was then referred to Mia, who would supposedly inform me of my options for prescription glasses. I was a repeat client who had previously purchased glasses here with all of the add-ons, and I only needed a simple back-up pair this time. Each time I firmly declined additional, expensive add-ons, Mia became more passive-aggressive and was clearly aggravated that she was not able to "upsell" me. I then asked if she was able to give me a trial pair of contacts given one of my lenses had fallen on the floor and was lost during the exam. She immediately disregarded my request and said it would not be possible with no attempt to ask the Doctor or offer any alternatives. In fact, she proceeded to say my contacts were "old anyways." I was completely shocked by her comment and corrected her statement given it was a fresh lens replaced THAT DAY. I stated I would not be purchasing the glasses from her and would pay only the cost of the appointment. She abruptly stood from her chair stating "I don't need this - I'll take your payment upfront!" I was stunned by the complete change in her behavior, the absence of self-control in her professional workplace, and worst of all, NO intervention from other staff or the Doctor on-call. The entire situation was permitted to escalate and Mia continued to respond with a disrespectful and inappropriate tone claiming my mother and I were "rude" customers. The whole situation was unbelievable and after taking the proper channels to communicate the incident with the business manager, Amanda, and Dr. Ben Dixon, there was no sincere attempt to rectify the situation. We even sent a detailed letter describing the situation to Dr. Ben Dixon, which was ignored, and after several weeks, we called to follow up and he had to READ THE LETTER on the phone for the first time. Empty apologies were all that was offered, which forces me to continue escalating this complaint to corporate Pearle Vision and other avenues as necessary. I'm extremely disappointed by the lack of accountability in this office. I DO NOT recommend this office AT ALL if you expect to encounter a customer-focused environment or any caliber of client care. read more

Dr Dixon is outstanding. We moved to Parker and I need to have my eyes checked. I looked at about a dozen optometrist here and to my surprise all but one had so many poor ratings on Yelp. The only optometrist that had strength 5 stars was Pearl Vision near Target in Parker. So I called to make an appointment and talked to Kathryn about their Yelp ratings and she said they treat everyone like family. So I made an appointment and was not disappointed. They are outstanding and we will always go there. So if you want to have the best experience having an eye examination this is definitely the best place to go. I could only give 5 stars but if I could I would definitely have given them more. I can't say enough about the Doctor and his staff.... super professional!!! read more

Karen was professional and courteous, she answered all my questions and provided me with all the information that I could ever need in purchasing glasses. This place was a seamless experience. We switched over to them after very poor experiences with an optometrist office in Parker. That other office was always mixing up my wife's appointment times, sending our reminders to the incorrect people, sending us reminders for other patients, and more that shall not be discussed. You can say we were fed up. So this Pearle Vision experience was a breath of fresh air! Not only were they extremely professional, but they were able to get my wife the correct prescription the *first time*. No returning for multiple exams. Dr. Dixon is the best doctor I've ever had in any medical profession. He is attentive and listens to me and any concerns I might have. He explains the x-rays to me in a language that I understand. Yara was extremely helpful and went out of her way to go threw numerous glasses with me till we found the pair I liked best. She also answered all my questions and gave me all the information I needed on what my insurance covered and what I would have to pay out of packet. The office was professional, and Dr. Dixon is friendly, professional, and thorough. I went into Pearle Vision with a prescription I had obtained from another optometrist's office for reading that was completely too strong for me. I was very impressed by Dr. Dixon's ability to understand the issues I was having with my prescription. He took his time in assessing what would work best for the lifestyle I had explained to him. I definitely wish I would have gone there to begin with but they did an amazing job correcting the other offices' errors and I am very pleased with my glasses now.
