I came upon this place because of a TikTok. I am very pleased with the service I received, the ladies at the front desk are very nice and kind with excellent customer service skills !! The care I received from the Dr. was exceptional because she actually cares about your well being and her explaining and answering my questions put me at ease. She helped with my dry eye issue that was very severe. It is very nice and cozy inside. Their state of the art equipment is phenomenal. They also offer other services as well like botox and fillers. There's plenty of parking and they do offer Saturday appointments once a month I believe. Overall my experience was excellent and I can't wait to try their other services !!! read more

We just moved to the area and I needed to take my son for an eye appointment asap as he broke his glasses and was struggling to see at school and during sports. I can't say enough about VOS and the entire dream team! From Rosie to Dr Sana they are so passionate AND good at what they do. BETTER LATE THAN NEVER!!!!! First and foremost, I would love to thank Dr Shakil (pronounced SHA-kill) because she absolutely kills it at being an optometrist!! Okay, so for the past few years, I've been living in Woodcrest area and have just gotten around to exploring my neighborhood. I was in need of prescription colored contacts so I decided to yelp it like I always do which I then found Visionaire Optometry Spa! I called the office and made an appointment to see the doctor. This was the time around August of 2023 and I came in as a cash patient. Upon walking into the temporary spa, I immediately caught a vibe because 1. My favorite color is purple 2. It's an all females office 3. It's 6 minutes from my home. 4. The medical office was a little small for comfort but the decor had character. And to be quite honest, for the first time visit, I was a little concerned I might have entered a bad situation and I guess you could see it on my face because I was explained to that the actual suite where Dr Shakil would be seeing patients was in the midsts of renovations so this current suite is just a temporary facility until it was finished. After I was told this, I just kind of went with a whatever "eff it mentality" so it was a little awkward for the most part however after experiencing the staff and overall patient care I received far more exceeded my expectations in such a positive way. I had an appointment scheduled for 1:30 but came at 1:15 to fill out some new patient paper work, for a current student, paying for anything out of pocket is kind of steep because my husband pays so much for insurance. However, my initial visit, my insurance had not finalized for the new year and I unfortunately had to pay out of pocket. Needless to say, the initial visit made me so glad I found Dr Shakil off Yelp because I don't have to look for another optometrist in the IE! Pre exams were done by the technician, I forget who it was but Rosy ended up helping me for the remainder of the time. (Love her bubbly personality btw, absolutely a plus!) I then was able to relax in the room but guys... let me tell you!! This is where my visit started to get intriguing... Dr Shakil has this special eye massager thing device and it's basically used to reset your eyes because day to day, we constantly look at a small screen and strain our eyes. This little device is heaven sent because I immediately could tell the difference with my vision and how extensive my eye muscles were strained or fatigued * since I study constantly and the last time I had an eye visit with another eye doctor was 2021 in OC. I kept quiet though but* my excitement was sky rocketing through the roof after this massage thing was done. After relaxing and listening to some melancholic music, I met Dr Shakil. She is so bubbly, so polite, and so intelligent that it was another good thing checked off the list of finding a family optometrist. I explained to Dr Shakil my situation and it seemed as though she had a detailed answer for every concern I had. I was very impressed and felt like I was being treated with the upmost respect as a patient and individual. She is really that good guys. I was even given a lower vision prescription * than that was previously prescribed by my OC doctor and my eyes are thankful! Dr Shakil recommended special anti fatigue lenses for my studying but after finalizing some prices, I ultimately only paid for the visit for my exam and contact lenses which was what I was initially there for. A few months roll around and it's December 2023. I get a call from my insurance saying I have yet to use my benefits and I immediately call the office to see if I can get the glasses Dr shakil recommended and maybe some more additional colored contacts. Thankfully, I was able to do both and paid the 20% copay for my glasses. Fast forwarding to present time, January 2024, I am now rocking a new pair of glasses prescribed by Dr Shakil and have a re-up of colored contacts on the way. I seriously cannot thank Dr Shakil and her amazing team enough! Now it's time to get in the hubby so he can experience what I experienced but this time in the new, purple and beautiful office! read more

During my visit, received a thorough eye exam and checkup using multiple devices, all of which was explained in great detail. Next level. This office and staff are truly IT! Dr. Shakil, her staff, and this office are really unlike any other optometrist's office you've been to. With simple, yet modern decor, the office is warm and inviting. It feels cozy and upscale, just like a spa! And everything is kept impeccably clean, and hygienic (I'm a retired RDH, so I'm OCD about medical/dental offices looking and feeling clean and sterile!). Dr is personable with incredible bedside manner, thoroughly educates me on what dry eye issues I have and what my children need, as well as addresses the issues with care and complete attention. She was able to rush a pair of prescription sports glasses for my daughter to wear for her softball tournament and even get her into her first pair of contact lenses. Riverside needed a Dr, staff, and office like this! You're welcomed with a refreshment station that has bottled water, tea, and coffee. My children love to wait in the quaint little TV room and feel very comfortable with the Dr and her staff. They love coming here (when do you ever hear children asking to go to the eye doctor because it's a cool looking place and the doctor is so nice?!). Everyone is knowledgeable, friendly, and just a pleasure to be around! You will not be disappointed with this office and her staff. Trust me. I drive 1-3 hours outside of Riverside to see the best doctors (Dana Point, Newport Beach, Pasadena, Beverly Hills) and to find a true treasure within 15 minutes from home is my gold mine! This was a great experience. I love professionals who are passionate about what they do. This optometric spa is owned by a woman who is employing women. The eye detox was so relaxing. My favorite part of the visit was the time Dr. Shakil took with me to explain the areas where my habits assisted with my health, while others are behind the issues I have experienced. Rosie took the time to explain everything she was doing. Normally you just do the look at the barn thing, but because Dr. Shakil is a dry eye specialist there were scans for that.
