I've had her twice and she is rough and gives a 10 minute pedicure without taking nail polish off feet and just slop stuff on your feet. It's ridiculous. Rough and careless with a pedicure. Lazy with service, glue on hands after your hands soak in acetone. You have to ask them to help you get it off by actually giving you a wipe to remove it from your hands. I had service one time from chair 1, she left glue on my hands and didn't even ask me if I wanted lotion. Rude. So I wouldn't go to her. I do feel it's a bit fake in there and about the money. Today I came in and wasn't really greeted which makes me feel like hmm what's up with that? I like my nails today and the price is right but I won't go out the way like I've done to get service.

I don't usually leave reviews but I found this nail salon on yelp so it's only right to post my own review. I also do not usually get my nails done, but I wanted acrylics for a special occasion a few weeks ago. I actually came back for a fill because I had such a good experience! I've been here twice now-- once for the full set ~2 weeks ago and today for the fill. Both times I've brought in inspiration photos. Jackie is so lovely and detail-oriented! She makes sure I'm happy multiple times throughout the process and checks in about pricing. As far as pricing, I consider getting my nails done to be a treat and the pricing seems fair to me. A full-set of acrylics starts at $30 and fill in starts at $20. In terms of covid precautions, all employees wear masks and it hasn't been particularly crowded either time I've been there. I felt comfortable enough in my kn-95. read more

I have been here several times and feel compelled to write another review. Every time is a pleasure. Jackie is so professional, she has great ideas and so generous with letting you try something different that is not on the "menu" They are super fast, the colors last and they have a TON to choose from. During Covid I have come in here a lot and it always safe and very clean. I have also done very fun combo requests that are always happily accommodated. Got these fun holiday nails and got LOTS of compliments. Prices are great, too! DEFINITELY CHECK THIS PLACE OUT. I was so impressed with the time and care they took with my spa pedicure and manicure. They had nice touches like a sea scrub, lotion and hot towels wrapped around your legs and feet. Jackie at VIP Nail Salon is the absolute BEST manicurist I have been to by far. She is so thorough in her acrylic work, and I don't trust anyone else with my nails! From the first time I came in, she made the space warm and inviting and kept great conversation - which really eases the nerves of trying a new place. This is when I suspected she couldn't understand me. No massage, scrub cream was applied to my legs and then rinsed off-no scrubbing. No real attempt to get rid of calluses. Mani-my nails are on the shorter side and I just wanted them to all be the same length and shape. I had to correct her several times because she wasn't following those simple instructions. Some of my nails ended up lopsided anyhow. No hand massage, no lotion and sloppy polish application. I had to ask her to redo several nails. When she's done, she takes me to the drying table, tells me how long to wait and starts to leave. Until I call her back to turn the drying fan on. (I couldn't find the switch). She stomped off, never to be seen again. I had to ask one of the other techs to bring my bag and shoes over, because she didn't. This was very disappointing.

I mostly avoid manicures because I chip the polish in 24 hours but here we are 5 days later and my fingers still look like shiny disco balls. Why I would return: -comfortable seating at the nail tables. Sturdy with room for ample bottoms -friendly and efficient service. There is NO NEED to be at a nail salon for hours. We were out in 45 min max including dry time. -welcoming reception. I love seeing my people when I'm out and she was very warm and inviting. So much so when I told people where we went to get our nails done they asked if she was working. -good job on the polish. Clean lines, no smudge, long/lasting. -NO CHEMICAL SMELLS. From a customer side this was nice - I'm sure from an employee side it's even better. -Super clean and modern. Sometimes nail shops can be worn down. It's clear this place is investing in the space - which makes a nicer work environment and experience for all.

He didn't even bothered to check if the length is same. To make matters worse, the technician who painted my nails had a poor attitude and made the experience uncomfortable. Consistency, quality, and customer service are what keep clients coming back. Unfortunately, this visit reflected none of those things. This is how businesses lose loyal customers.

Same day, clear coat was peeling off, the dip was lifting up and one nail was a completely different length and shape (middle finger, photo 1). When mentioned, she said it had a previous tip and an accident ( did not charge for 2 tips due to this), so the old tip was soaked in acetone and then left on partially? I did pay full price and tipped 20% regardless of poor slow service. Overall I left very frustrated and disappointed. I had to get my nails redone 3 days later, so essentially cost me double. The salon I went to was absolutely shocked at the poor quality and time this manicure took. I attached photos from day 1 - day 3
