I requested quotes from several moving companies And Nikita provided me the best quote. From start to finish Nikita was very responsive and put me at ease with answering all my questions. Movers showed up earlier than the ETA and moved everything with care. (From disassembling to wrapping every piece of furniture). I couldn't be happier with the service VIP movers provided. My family and I moved from Rhode Island to Florida and our furniture arrived 3 days later! I would hire again in a heartbeat for my moving needs! Thank you! read more

VIP Movers Boston - amazing! - Movers Near Me - Somerville , Massachusetts

Nikita, Marcus and the 3rd person that helped us move were professional, communicative and showed care in moving our belongings safely and quickly. They assisted with a move from MA to NJ and quoted us the best price for the move. They provided us with insurance for the leasing office very promptly! Leading up to the move Nik communicated with us the day he would arrive and on the day he texted us letting us know his ETA to the house. All of our glass/tv console/chairs/table were wrapped with plastic and some had blankets for extra protection. We glanced in the truck and everything was packed well, they really know how to Tetris everything so it travels well. Day of move in, they showed up early to the place to help us move. Move out and move in were quick, efficient and very smooth. They took apart our bed and couch and reassembled it for us and when they moved us in, made sure to put things in the right place and even rolled out all of our rugs/positioned them under our furniture. We had a lot of fragile items and everything made it without any damage. I've never had to hire movers before and I'm so glad this was a good experience. Overall 10/10! Will definitely hire Nik and his team again for any moves we do. They do cross country, state to state and local moves! read more

Efficiency: In my last move, it took the previous movers a little over an hour to pack up the truck, and about half an hour to carry everything inside at my destination. Vlad's crew took over three hours to pack up, and about an hour and a half to unpack. At least a quarter of the time they were "packing," all three movers were sitting around on the tailgate of the truck, chatting or looking at their phones. They also logged a considerable amount of time milling around the apartment in between carrying items to the truck, and poking around places like the balcony where there were no items to move. And when they did carry items to the truck, they carried as little as possible per trip--for example, a single shelf from a bookshelf. I was so fed up by the time they brought my stuff to my new house that I helped them unpack the truck. Quality: About two thirds of the boxes made it to the rooms they were labeled to go to. One of the posts on the cat condo was broken, which wouldn't have bothered me too much if they had told me about it. I know they know it happened, because I saw it bend in the mover's hand as he carried it, and he had to shift his grip to a different post to stabilize it. But he never said anything about it. Edit: After bringing this to Nikita's attention, he refunded me the full price of the cat condo. Now that that's been corrected, I have no complaints about the condition of my belongings. I will say that everything seemed to be very tidily stacked and strapped in the truck upon arrival, protecting my stuff from any dings or tumbles. Promptness: This part was great. They texted that they would arrive in 45 minutes, and arrived exactly 45 minutes later. And their arrival was within the two-hour window that I was told to expect them. Responsiveness: Nikita was wonderfully responsive to all my questions prior to the move. After the move, when I raised my concerns, he refunded me the full price of the cat condo. Altogether, really unhappy with the inefficiency, but perfectly content with the punctuality and the condition of my stuff on arrival. Edit: Rather than rebutting Nikita's response point-by-point, I'll just say that I think it's an excellent illustration of the level of professionalism demonstrated by this company. read more

The VIP team was fantastic in helping us complete our move. The team treated everything carefully, unpacked and reassembled well, and were always asking exactly where we wanted things placed. Great job! read more

These guys were awesome! They were super friendly, professional, worked hard and moved fast. They treated my belongings like their own, carefully wrapping furniture & electronics to protect them and secured everything with straps in the truck. When we arrived at my new place, they organized everything they brought down to my basement, got some big pieces of furniture up a tight stairwell with 2 turns without damaging anything and even helped me set up my bed. These guys were non-stop. In 5 hours, I think they only took one 5 minute break and they had come from another job so it was an ~18 hour day for them! At the end, the lead guy explained the paperwork to me and did the math right in front of me. I can't say enough good things about VIP Movers. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again next time I move. read more

The three gentlemen that came to move me were excellent. They were friendly, efficient, took great care with my belongings including a heavy and delicate family heirloom. Nikita was great to work with in the planning process with quick replies and helpful information. Everything arrived at my new place in tact and was arranged as I asked. Thank you! read more

Could not have done this move without them!! From speaking to Nikita prior to the move date he was nothing but helpful and has quick responses! On move day, my two man crew arrived and got straight to assessing my situation! Vlad was a pleasure to work with and handled all of my items with care! I will definitely be using them again in the future, as they went above and beyond! read more

We called VIP Movers when we were ready to move. They came to our home on time and were ready to work. They were courteous efficient and had us all moved and set up at our new location in under 4 hours door to door. I can recommend them to anyone asking without reservations. The prices were phenomenal, and the guys went above and beyond. If you are getting ready to move, do as we did and call the local good guys, VIP Movers. Nancy & Ed Grabowski read more

So far, so good. Nikita was very quick to respond and stopped by for a walkthrough to assess the scope of the work. He responded with a formal quote within 24 hours. Target move dates are: Day 1 - VIP to package and box the contents of my home. Day 2 - VIP to Load the Moving Van/Truck Day 3 - VIP to make an early morning drive 300 miles to the final destination, then unload and install all furniture and boxes. Day 3 will be a long day for the crew. I will follow-up with an addendum to this review after the move is completed. read more

I can't recommend VIP Movers enough! They helped me with a long distance move from Cambridge, MA to Washington DC. I contacted Nikita through Yelp, and he was always very responsive and willing to answer any questions I had. They worked quickly and efficiently, wrapping all important large pieces with blankets and movers wrap to ensure there was no damage. Their communication and professionalism is unparalleled. This is a new small business, and my experience working with them was far superior than the larger corporate movers. I would 100% recommend them to anyone else who is moving in the Boston area. read more

Loved my experience with VIP movers. They came to move my home art studio into a commercial space. They were on time, very careful with all my equipment, and disassembled and reassembled my work tables on either end no problem. I would recommend them to anyone, and hire them again for my next move! read more

They did the job good, on time, helped me move a bunch of stuff I had in my storage. The price is reasonable.

Excellent movers. Very reasonable, worked with us on a complicated move; heavy items, narrow staircases. Definitely recommend.

Absolutrly blown away by VIP movers. They were amazing during our 2 day move. The guys who came out were so nice and kind. Theh were extra patient with my deaf father and i couldnt have been happier. They even helped us unload a seperafe uhual we used for storing our shed equipment. Best moving experience ever. read more

VIP Movers are fantastic. I was relocating from Boston to Austin and they were great. Nikita contacted me quickly and gave me a very reasonable quote. His team showed up on time and was very thorough with packing and care of my belongings. They kept in touch with me throughout the transport and delivered unloaded everything at my new house with extreme diligence and care. Even after the move was complete and several days later, Nikita was able to find and coordinate local resources to help with post move support. If you're looking for a top notch moving service at a reasonable rate, I would recommend Nikita and his team highly. If there was a 6 star rating, I would give it to them. read more

We needed last minute movers and VIP Movers stepped up big time for us. They gave an accurate quote and arrived promptly with a huge moving truck. Stan, Oleg and Edik worked extremely hard and efficiently. They wrapped all of our furniture for protection and did a great job safely packing our apartment into their truck. I would definitely recommend VIP movers and next time we move, I'm definitely going to request that team! Thank you VIP Movers! read more

Had such a good experience with VIP Movers. Eugene and Kyle were a big help to get me out of my apt and into the next, the following day. My items were safely stored overnight as well which was such a relief. When we were a bit behind schedule (not unusual for a crazy move in date of 9/1), Nikita was able to send over a third set of hands (Andrew, I believe) right away, to catch up on some lost time. 10/10 would recommend this company. read more

I had to move across country from Massachusetts to California and called more than 10 different companies in the area to try to figure out how to ship my furniture and boxes and am so so glad I went with this option. Nikita and his team made this move so seamless - I literally just had to pack my boxes and they took care of everything else and drove my stuff across the country in 4 days! Nikita was so responsive in terms of getting me a quote and sorting out a move date and beat the cost of all of the other options I was considering! He and his team showed up on move-out day early and really efficiently wrapped up all of my furniture in less than an hour. It was nuts! On move-in day, he updated me on the time he was going to arrive and really quickly unloaded all of my stuff and arranged my furniture in my room. I am so so thankful to them and would really recommend them to anyone looking to move! Though they are relatively new as an independent moving company, the team clearly has a ton of prior experience in this industry - it shows in how professional, efficient, communicative, and reliable they were! Definitely definitely would recommend! read more

Honestly so quick and they were super nice! They didn't even have to disassemble anything. I don't know how they did it but they got everything down from the third floor (with tiny haunted house-like stairs) and into my new place in no time! Definitely would go for them if I ever move again. read more

Just did a move with VIP Movers and they were awesome! They were super responsive (had some questions on a Sunday and they answered immediately) and they came 15 min ahead of schedule. Both of them worked hard and took extra care of my stuff. Thanks so much for making the move painless! read more

DO NOT HIRE THIS MOVING COMPANY! My move started good I paid for 3 movers and a truck for $180.00 and hour. The move started good until we got to my new place. Two of the movers were screaming in front of my house and after the screaming one worker head butted the other and soon walked off the job. So three movers ended up being two for the last 2 hours or so. When it came time to pay the bill I was charged for the whole time the movers were arguing as well as travel time that I was not told of till it came time to pay. I was not offered any kind of discount due to the time not working during the argument or the fact there were only two movers. The move took longer than it should because of the argument and having only 2 movers which was not my fault. Yet the owner still charged me full price and travel time. So disgraceful and unprofessional. The owner is all about the money and must condone this behavior because he did not reach out to me to apologize or offer a discount for the unprofessional behavior and lack of a mover. JUST DISGRACEFUL.... read more

They were excellent! They replaced a mattress and even helped and fixed my bed frame so that the mattress could fit perfectly on it.

We used VIP movers to assist with our move from an apartment to our new home. Everything to booking and the actual move was great. We had a very short time frame to move and they accommodated us. No hidden fees and priced very well. The entire team handled our belongings with care and worked in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend them and if needed would use them again. Nikita and another gentleman ( I apologize to him for not remembering his name ) did a spectacular job in my recent move from the Boston area to NJ. I didn't have lots of furniture but I sure did have lots and lots of boxes and they weren't light weight. These guys worked fast, efficiently and were careful and polite. They had to move all my furniture and belongings including a king and queen bed out of a 2nd floor apartment and 3rd floor attic and then carry them into another 2nd floor apartment and 3rd floor attic in NJ. They never made one single complaint. They were kind and friendly and did a great job! I highly recommend this company. read more
