Efficiency: In my last move, it took the previous movers a little over an hour to pack up the truck, and about half an hour to carry everything inside at my destination. Vlad's crew took over three hours to pack up, and about an hour and a half to unpack. At least a quarter of the time they were "packing," all three movers were sitting around on the tailgate of the truck, chatting or looking at their phones. They also logged a considerable amount of time milling around the apartment in between carrying items to the truck, and poking around places like the balcony where there were no items to move. And when they did carry items to the truck, they carried as little as possible per trip--for example, a single shelf from a bookshelf. I was so fed up by the time they brought my stuff to my new house that I helped them unpack the truck. Quality: About two thirds of the boxes made it to the rooms they were labeled to go to. One of the posts on the cat condo was broken, which wouldn't have bothered me too much if they had told me about it. I know they know it happened, because I saw it bend in the mover's hand as he carried it, and he had to shift his grip to a different post to stabilize it. But he never said anything about it. Edit: After bringing this to Nikita's attention, he refunded me the full price of the cat condo. Now that that's been corrected, I have no complaints about the condition of my belongings. I will say that everything seemed to be very tidily stacked and strapped in the truck upon arrival, protecting my stuff from any dings or tumbles. Promptness: This part was great. They texted that they would arrive in 45 minutes, and arrived exactly 45 minutes later. And their arrival was within the two-hour window that I was told to expect them. Responsiveness: Nikita was wonderfully responsive to all my questions prior to the move. After the move, when I raised my concerns, he refunded me the full price of the cat condo. Altogether, really unhappy with the inefficiency, but perfectly content with the punctuality and the condition of my stuff on arrival. Edit: Rather than rebutting Nikita's response point-by-point, I'll just say that I think it's an excellent illustration of the level of professionalism demonstrated by this company. read more

Nikita, Marcus and the 3rd person that helped us move were professional, communicative and showed care in moving our belongings safely and quickly. They assisted with a move from MA to NJ and quoted us the best price for the move. They provided us with insurance for the leasing office very promptly! Leading up to the move Nik communicated with us the day he would arrive and on the day he texted us letting us know his ETA to the house. All of our glass/tv console/chairs/table were wrapped with plastic and some had blankets for extra protection. We glanced in the truck and everything was packed well, they really know how to Tetris everything so it travels well. Day of move in, they showed up early to the place to help us move. Move out and move in were quick, efficient and very smooth. They took apart our bed and couch and reassembled it for us and when they moved us in, made sure to put things in the right place and even rolled out all of our rugs/positioned them under our furniture. We had a lot of fragile items and everything made it without any damage. I've never had to hire movers before and I'm so glad this was a good experience. Overall 10/10! These guys were awesome! They were super friendly, professional, worked hard and moved fast. They treated my belongings like their own, carefully wrapping furniture & electronics to protect them and secured everything with straps in the truck. When we arrived at my new place, they organized everything they brought down to my basement, got some big pieces of furniture up a tight stairwell with 2 turns without damaging anything and even helped me set up my bed. These guys were non-stop. In 5 hours, I think they only took one 5 minute break and they had come from another job so it was an ~18 hour day for them! At the end, the lead guy explained the paperwork to me and did the math right in front of me. I can't say enough good things about VIP Movers. DO NOT HIRE THIS MOVING COMPANY! My move started good I paid for 3 movers and a truck for $180.00 and hour. The move started good until we got to my new place. Two of the movers were screaming in front of my house and after the screaming one worker head butted the other and soon walked off the job. So three movers ended up being two for the last 2 hours or so. When it came time to pay the bill I was charged for the whole time the movers were arguing as well as travel time that I was not told of till it came time to pay. I was not offered any kind of discount due to the time not working during the argument or the fact there were only two movers. The move took longer than it should because of the argument and having only 2 movers which was not my fault. Yet the owner still charged me full price and travel time. So disgraceful and unprofessional. The owner is all about the money and must condone this behavior because he did not reach out to me to apologize or offer a discount for the unprofessional behavior and lack of a mover. I didn't have lots of furniture but I sure did have lots and lots of boxes and they weren't light weight. These guys worked fast, efficiently and were careful and polite.
