Yep, odd service. On behalf of a client seeking new windows for a whole 3500 sq ft home, we received a referral to Vinyl Window Broker. We set the appointment. Upon trying to confirm the estimate, the scheduler insists "both homeowners" needed to be home for the appointment. I asked her why if it's for an estimate only. Scheduler stated, It is our policy that both homeowners come out as we are "talking" through design and the home energy assistant program. I explained that wouldn't be possible as schedule would prevent us from scheduling. She asks, "Oh does he travel for work a lot?" When I laughed it off (is this really necessary for windows?) and mentioned the decision maker who would be present is the best source to make a decision, she very rudely dismissed it and said "Well if it's not both of them we cannot have the appointment." Needless to say, we canceled. Not sure if this is sexism or a sales tactic - but either it's not a smart business model as its counter productive and invasive. read more

My father bought windows from these people. He was sick with cancer so I don't think he took a good look at the shoddy install. The install was worse than terrible. Windows leak and drywall is stained and will probably have mold The actual mfg stood behind and replaced a foggy window that leaked gas and told me the install was really bad and would see about having them come and repair a couple of the serious problems. One of my windows literally wiggles and is not attached to the frame. The plastic around the interior windows is no longer sticking to some of the windows. There is silicone smeared all around the exterior windows and globs are randomly dropped or smeared on the stucco. Stephanie told me to email the photos to her and I did but then she totally ghosted me. I will probably have to have the windows removed and replaced by a reputable company. read more

They had good communications. They installed three large sliding doors and 8 windows in one day. They were prompt to replace one window with a small damaged corner, on the spot! They don't honor their warranty. Beware of this company. They installed my windows and apparently it came with a warranty. When my windows started leaking I called them to come out to to fix my windows. But apparently they don't keep paper work from customers so they couldn't find my files and said they wouldn't honor the warranty. Seemed very convenient they couldn't find my paperwork. Now I have to pay for $2500 in water damage and $500 for someone to repair the windows. Thanks so much. You guys are the best read more

A year or more ago we had our windows replaced in our own home and the home our son, daughter-in-law and grandkids live in. We are very impressed with our windows! After the recent torrential rains, no leaks. Both our homes are older Irvine homes and we definitely needed new windows. The kids say they have noted an appreciable improvement in their heating and a/c bills, with their home maintaining a more constant temperature. They have a lot of windows! I MADE A MISTAKE GIVING THIS COMPANY MY NUMBER!!!!! They got my number doing door to door last year and till now they've been calling me every week about their promotions!!! Everyone from Sales, to the window measurement, to production through installation was exceptional, answered all questions and was very easy to deal with. The installation crew of Luis and Eric were very professional placing drop clothes over the carpets and floors where they were working. They also took great care removing our old windows with no damage to the window or door casings. Every window and door was remeasured and cut to fit on site. The crew cleaned as they went leaving very little for us to clean after they were done. The finished product looks flawless. I haven't done business with this company, but I receive calls from this reps saying they are from this company NON-STOP! I never tried to contact this company, but now I never DON'T get calls from them. On top of that, if I ask nicely to take my number off their list, they give me a BS excuse of either, "It wasn't me!" (which doesn't matter because YOU ARE STILL A REP OF THIS COMPANY! WHICH MEANS IT IS STILL YOUR FAULT), or they say, "Maybe it was a different company," which doesn't make sense because why would the phone number be the same?! So either these reps suck, or they're stupid, or both. Or their sales trainer is giving them crap rebuttals. Please reconsider using this company. I have just had to hire an outside contractor to repair the work this company completed. After the rains we noticed multiple windows leaking in our home. Each window is labeled with the original receipt from Vinyl Window Brokers. I contacted them and they did not keep records from prior than a few years and would not come to check the reason for the leaks. My contractor has pulled out three Windows and not one of them has a sealant. They are literally sitting in the frame with no protection from outside elements. We have had to have drywall and baseboards replaced. I have contacted Vinyl Window numerous times with copies of the receipts that I have and they would not fulfill warranty work. But seeing the windows out I wouldn't want them completing it anyway. Poor business management with no records of service and poor ethics in not responding to warranty service. read more
