Thanks to other Yelpers I found Window Jazz. I needed a new slider for my back door and got a quote which seemed reasonable. I opted for dual thickness glass (1/8" and 1/4") to help block the noise from the train, and am so happy I did. It was an extra $400 but well worth it. They removed my old French doors, installed the slider, along with white wood trim on the inside, and it looked great. Slides easily, and came with a screen. After the installers left I noticed a small defect in the track. It didn't seem to affect the functionality, but I notified the company and they came out and took a look. It was such a minor thing, but they decided to replace the entire frame, and did so in less than a week. We are very happy with how it looks, the quality, and the service. I will use them again. Annette is a class act. We're doing a remodel of our Kitchen, two baths, and a powder room, and needed to have the garden window replaced, so contacted 4 window companies to provide estimates. Annette was punctual, knowledgeable, and personable. Immediately we knew before we even met the other companies that we'd likely use her. And when we got her rate, we were pretty sure. There had to be a revision on the window because the shelf underneath would have to be demo'd and there would be additional costs, but we'd work with her on that. We ended up not using her, but it was because the window was going to take about 3-4 weeks, and it turned out that the GC we selected for our remodel was able to get the window and streamline the replacement process easier since they are redoing the kitchen, and they were doing it at their cost, which saved us about an extra $1,000. But had we not done that, we would use Annette. Just as a footnote, we had our windows replaced by another company a year and a half ago, which also gave us a bid, but they were going to be about 8 weeks out, and the window would be a Milgard window. Annette's window was going to be her build and same, if not better quality. So, if you're looking for a good company with a great product and involved person in your project, I'd recommend Window Jazz. read more

She had not returned any of my calls previously. She told me to send her photos of the windows, which I did. I didn't hear back again. I called again to see if she received the photos. She said she did receive them, but forgot to call me back. She said she would contact their service man and get back to me that day. I waited another 4 days and no call back! At that point, I decided these are people you can't rely on to even call you back! I moved on to another window repair company!! Window Jazz were excellent right from the start. We called them because they were local and had worked with Laguna Woods before. They handled all the compliance paperwork (and we only had to pay the Laguna Woods fee). Yadira helped us to chose the window styles we wanted and provided the estimate. The team installing the windows arrived at the time that had been arranged and did a wonderful job. They even worked with us so that we could keep our cat away from where they were working. They did a very good job cleaning up after themselves and even cleaned the new windows before they left. I got several quotes before deciding on a company to replace my windows. Window Jazz was by far the most reasonable and I liked the fact that the manufacturer is local. Annette was the individual that coordinated the whole process of design, purchase and installation. Her communication was excellent. Ours was complicated by termite damage and dry rot, as well as needing to address custom beveled glass that we hope to restore and use again. Annette was very responsive to our needs and brought in others to properly plan our job. On the day of the installation, the crew was there on time, was very neat, all masked, and did a great job. They finished all of details of their installation so that the window looked perfect. They hadn't damaged any surrounding stucco or paint- I didn't need to do a thing to get the job totally finished.
