Jon and his team replaced all our windows and doors in Newport Beach, back in 2014. The job went awesome, Jon's advice were on point and we've been very happy with the result since then. On Saturday, it rained a lot and all the sudden it's pouring rain in the master bedroom through one of the sliding doors installed 6 years ago. Quite worried, I have called Jon this morning and he returned my call in the same hour. Jon offered to send over, one of his leads, this week in order to check if everything was okay, and to reseal the window(s) as needed if needed. He explained that the weather (dry / humid / dry / humid..) can sometimes damage the caulk / glue around window frames. His lead, David, actually has come today after his work day. He has checked every single window inside out, he has resealed every single one of them even the ones that looked completely okay, but he did so "just in case", he has fixed my master bedroom sliding doors and he did all of this without billing us. Let's recap here. We had the first issue after 6 years, probably because of our dry / humid weather on a window that faces the sun all day / the most exposed of the house. We've let Jon know this morning and the issue has been fixed before the end of the day today, at no charge. We are so very impressed and appreciative. My first dealings with Jon were very good. The windows were installed on time and the cleanup was thorough. However I received NO satisfaction for my follow up requests. It got to the point where I just gave up after the fourth request. I couldn't even get a copy of the warranty I requested. Follow up service is critical especially if a window won't open or a screen won't lock. Taking a customer's money then not addressing any post installation issues is simply poor business. read more

He was very responsive, answered all our questions, and was able to submit the necessary Laguna Woods permits prior to our arrival in SoCal, the day after escrow closed! I live in an association so getting approval took a few months, many emails, phone calls, and so on as anyone living in an association can tell you. One of the issues was obtaining this company's state contractors license information (#825566). I finally found it under his actual name, not the fake name he goes by. This should have been a clue I was to have more issues. The contract he originally gave me had no window measurements on it but it did give the pricing on each window, another clue I was going to have issues. When I finally received association approval I contacted him and we set a date for him to come about two weeks later. When he showed up it was just him at the door. I asked where the crew was. He said he was just coming to take measurements. What?! He'd already done that on a previous visit! "Oh, I need to take exact measurements now so I can order the windows." He then texted me that he would FAX me the paperwork to sign and I would send him a check. Keeping in mind that the association only gave me thirty days to complete the task. The fax never came so I texted him again to ask for an update. His response was that he never got a check and didn't know the size of the front window so "I'll take a pass on your job." He's the one that measured my windows! He's the one that was supposed to FAX me the contract! Needless to say I'm not happy with this owner's response and all the time and effort he put me through with my association and then pulls this. Such a bad experience I've decided to hold off putting in new windows for at least another year. Having just received this information from him I'm understandably not his biggest fan.
