i've been living in wayne 20+ years now and this place was always a favorite of mine. The pizza and food are always the right temperature, fresh and delicious. I would get chicken fingers (next to pizza) and the tenders were always warm and never haVe that frozen taste to them. read more

Ordered garlic sticks- they were extremely rubbery upon delivery, then got rock hard shortly thereafter, as if they were microwaved before leaving the store Ordered French fries- they were dark brown as if they were fried twice, but were slightly more edible than the garlic sticks. Gave them 2 stars because the pizza was good. Normally I like this place, but tonight they really dropped the ball. read more

Since so many places are closed on Mondays, we decided to check this place out based on other reviews. We love to visit new pizza joints and this one didn't disappoint. The decor is what you'd expect from an older local pizza joint- no frills, service was just okay. We ordered a large cheese pie ($13) and it was ready in minutes. The crust tasted like a baguette to me, it just didn't have much flavor. It was good and crispy on the bottom. The sauce was very tangy and had a nice taste. Each slice was loaded with melted cheese in every bite. The cheese was salty and greasy, just how you'd want it. Since we live far away we probably won't be back for a while. I wish it was closer because it was delightful. read more

Vinni's used to be my favorite pizza place until they went cheap and started using garbage ingredients and now their pizza tastes nasty. Won't be going back until they start making pizza like they used to do. read more

Staff is rude and seems annoyed when placing order for delivery trying to rush me off the phone. I ordered wings but I basically got a heavily battered fried overcooked mess. Worst wings I have ever had hands down. read more

In terms of tri-state pizza, Vinni's is a staple. I've known them to have great pizza for years now but only recently have gotten into their cheesesteaks and sandwiches (which are also great). Decided to grab some wings and a pie last night. My order was ready to go as soon as I got there. The wings stayed crisp in the takeout box and had flavor down to the bone. As for the pie, Vinni's sauce has a good tomato flavor, bright enough and not overly seasoned. The cheese is good quality, melted well and doesn't come off the whole slice in one bite. The crust has good texture, and is pliable enough to fold in half. read more

Probably the best pizza pie in Wayne! That being said though there is not much else that stands out. read more

AYEEEEEEEE!!!!! BEST PIZZA AROUND I miss this place and being so close to it .. definitely take it for granted now. I miss the pizza, cheesesteaks and the people who work there. This place is so legendary and is a real testament of time. The faces there are so familiar, family ran business for years, a lot of history in the town and every visit is a personal one. Pizza Frita is a classic and now with the younger generation starting to work and run the business theyre only making it better than what it already was. New slices and adding new things to the menu. read more

My absolute all time favorite pizza place. We have lived in wayne for 20 years and I really won't go anywhere else. My kids have tried to steer me to other pizza places, but I always come back to Vinni's. Their Caprese pie is my favorite pizza ever. Every dinner we have ever gotten from them has been great. LOVE VINNIS! read more

Placed an order over an hour ago and still waiting for it to be delivered...call and told "it's on its way; should be about 10 minutes"...25 min later I'm STILL waiting. Customer service is lacking...I hope I actually get my food that I ordered and paid for... read more

The food here is great. I've ordered hot subs and pizzas , which have been fulfilling and completely satisfying. My reasoning behind the one star is based on their customer service. Never order online! I have learned that they get most orders wrong online. Assume and replace condiments to compensate missing ones and when I called the restaurant to tell them they gave us the wrong order and there were missing items, he said he was going to recharge us again. I had to argue over the phone so I wouldn't be charged again. I've been waiting over an hour for the replacement sandwich. Overall, it was a sour experience and definitely not worth the hassle. I will not go here again. read more

Best pizza in nj. Subs are the best. Try the white pizza with spinach or tuna sub. The service is excellent! Food is not salty at all. Matt

This was a real disappointment. I'm from out of town and staying at a local hotel. Which means I have no plates, utensils, napkins etc. The pizza is decent. I ordered a caesar salad as well. Hard to eat with no plates or forks. A loaf of French bread accompanied the order....which was smashed, semi-stale and there was no butter or garlic. I called to let them know how this order arrived. The tool that answered the phone could care less. His parting comment was "sorry bud, we'll try and do better next time." There will not be a next time and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

Don't go here...go somewhere that values their customers. They act as if making pizza gives them the right to act like an asshole. Go down the street to one of the 100's of other great north jersey pizza joints. The staffs shitty attitude must be getting in the way of their quality as well. The pizza used to be great now it's just like everyone else's. The rest of there food is garbage and always has been. Don't bother with delivery, your order will be wrong and it will take all night to get to your house. If I could give less stars I would. This place stays in business off of a an ancient reputation for good pizza. Well it's over, as I said pizza isn't even good anymore. Bye Bye Vinnies...WTF is a Pizzarama anyway? read more

Best pizza you can get! Their sandwiches and other stuff are always great too! Quality and taste has been the same since I was in grammar school. I'm in my 30's now and still pass 10 other pizzerias to come here. read more

First of all when you order online on their website, It takes you to Eatstreet website to make a payment. They have no way of showing online of what items are available or not. After Placing the order When I called to find out time of delivery, They mentioned that they do not have 3 items out of 6 items that I have ordered. There was no communication as far as How to refund my money If those items are not available. Instead, Owner said I do not have those, I will send you whatever I have. What kind of customer service is this? Fix your damn website or remove the option of ordering online. Have decency to offer a refund or offer an item to be replaced with. You CAN NOT say I do not have it so I will send you this. You CAN NOT force me to order anything that I do not want because You did not keep up with your website. Get Some training on Customer service and How to answer calls. read more

How can anybody write a review about Vinni's (a Wayne staple since waaaay back when - they even still have the old "Hardee's" chairs!!) and not mention the Vinni's SPECIAL sub sandwich - TO DIE FOR!!! My husband, mom, and I will get 2 and split them....we are usually fighting over the last little bit - this sandwich has the best bread EVER - it's soft on the inside, and warm and crusty on the outside - Just enough for a nice crunch, but not too much so you cut the roof of your mouth up. Then, they pile on the meats, cheeses, and handful of lettuce, onions, peppers (hot and/or sweet), O&V and off you go.... My hubby and I went to New Orleans a few years back and ordered the much talked about 'muffaletta'. while we sat on the steps, waiting for the St. Charles StreetCar we commented how that measly, oily New Orleans favorite had absolutely nuttin' on Vinni's! YUM-O read more

I have been coming here since I was born and "Vinni's" may or may not have been the first word I ever spoke. Hands down one of the best pizza joints I have EVER had the pleasure of eating at. Nothing much more to say. read more

Worst place ever. Never get your order right, they take forever on delivery, and the worst part, the asshole that works there is ridiculously rude. This place doesn't deserve a 1 Star. read more

While I'm away at college i dream of this pizza. Without a doubt the best pizza i've ever had.

Up until last weekend Vinni's was my favorite pizza in town. I live very close and was my "go to" on fridays nights. Last weekend I went in to pick up my pizza and decided to use their restroom. I had to wait I heard the toilet flush and an employee walk right out into the kitchen without washing his hands. The toilet was still flushing as he walked right out in a rush. Unfortunately after working in hospitality management for a lot of my younger years I can't deal with germs and dirty food environments so I will not be dining there anymore! read more

Vinni's Pizzarama: One of the funniest names ever for an Italian Pizza joint. When we have guests over and I tell them where we're getting the pizza from ... they laugh BUT, I have to admit, it is memorable! I've been eating Vinni's food since high school ... Good God I'm old! I remember when they opened AFTER THE HARDEE'S shut down (check out their chairs, you can still see the shape of the "H" for Hardee's on the back "spindles"). Vinni's was, I believe, a spin-off of Brother Bruno's further up on Hamburg Turnpike (near the Haledon border). For me, the fascination began with a calzone; I'd never heard of them and my buddy, Rich (a big eater with a big smile) talked of it lovingly (almost fetish-like actually). To him, it was like a girl in a tube top waving us over (in 1978-79, the tube top was the equivalent of today's tatooed "tramp stamp" - it meant "Hubba Hubba" and then some). He was right, the calzones were just amazing and fresh. If you get a fresh one - it's heaven; if its been sitting around it can actually get "sour" when the milky ricotta turns. Their pizzas are really good but they do have a tendency to make them "well done", sometimes "toasted/char-broiled" describes it better. If you're picky about stuff like that, warn them "DON'T OVERCOOK MY PIE" and they won't (maybe) but they could curse it with the Italian Evil Eye (they know this kind of stuff - many of them speak only Italian and they get mad at you if THEY don't understand you!). I just now ordered a small pie, half meatball and the pizza guy shouts into the phone "WHAT???" - real annoyed at me (this wasn't a case of too much noise). He acted as if I said "half elephant, half coco-puffs." The Italians - ah, they can be so charming!!! Bottom line - its really pretty damn good pizza. The meatball parm hero is good and sometimes the eggplant parm dinner is especially good (depends on who cut the eggplant; Mr. Thick Cut doesn't know what he's doing but somebody there knows their way around that purple monster. The Italian Sub is good but you have to close your eyes when you take bites; its got that weird deli meat that looks like baloney with fat chunks in it (shiver/shake). Mortadella? In English, it translates into Death Meat. Oh, the pickup counter is living proof of Darwin's Survival of The Fittest; check all you've learned about politeness and the system of "first come, first served" - You have just two friends at The Pizzarama at 6:30 PM on a Friday night ... they're called your elbows. Enjoy! Whip-Smart-Chris Pines Lake read more

Very busy place so people like the food. Counter service is a bit disorganized but not crazed; nice people. Good pizza; I usually get the meatballs. read more

This place is alright. All of Wayne absolutely loves this place. Not sure if it's because they've only ever been to this pizza place, or what. I personally think it's too greasy and overrated. read more

Ordered for takeout and was so disappointed with their safety protocols during COVID-19. I have ordered recently for delivery and the food was good but tonight I saw the scary truth. Went inside and multiple staff workers were either wearing masks improperly or not all behind the counter near the food. During my 15 minutes inside waiting, I saw multiple workers remove masks to eat and drink right at quick service counter and hovering over the pizzas that just came out of the oven. Finally as my food finished a staff member picked up my bag of fries and brought it to his FACE( with the mask not covering his nose) as if he were smelling them or wiping his face on it!! When confronted about it he refused and even pulled down his mask further off his face to tell me he didn't "realize what he was doing and that he wasn't paying attention" Needless to say didn't take home that food and WILL NOT be giving them my business again which is a shame because the food is not bad. Would review 0 stars if possible!! read more

Best pizza place around, thin crust, good size. Not 5 because tables were a little dirty. Overall a good place to grab a quick bite to eat. Birch beer was also a plus! read more

I've been eating pizza from here for 30 years, so even if it isn't the BEST pizza I've ever had I have to give it 5 stars. Vinni's is the ONLY phone number I have memorized. Seriously. (973-628-1510). I call it at least once a week. read more

really good pizza at a nice price. Great place to stop by on a lunch break.

Stopped by for pizza today. Lots of parking, plenty of seating, place was clean. I had two plain slices as I always do at a new pizza place to see how it compares. Tasted ok, nothing special. read more

Amazing pizza and worth the trip if you are ever in Wayne, NJ. They are part of the big 3 (Tony's, Neil's, and Vinnie's) all of which have great pizza. Their plain slice is arguably the best in Wayne NJ. They have great sandwiches too. read more

This was my high school hang out and always my favorite pizza growing up. I haven't had it in a while, even though I don't live far from Wayne. My parents ordered it last night to go and it was still amazing. This is the best pizzeria slice around. Cheesesteaks are great too! read more

It just is not good pizza. I am not sure what these other reviewers are eating, but if you actually eat here, you would agree with me.

By far, best pizza in town. The service is great and they are really friendly even over the phone.

I normally order Vinni's a lot because I enjoy their subs and antipasto. Today I ordered for delivery for me and two coworkers. Yes I understand paying with card and cash is a pain but don't be acting rude on the phone about it. I can honestly say they might have lost my business. Never be rude to people who are giving you your business. read more

I polished off an entire large pie once...and I wanted more...YUM!

My favorite local pizza place!! I love their phillycheese and penne pies. Very quick, affordable, delicious, clean, warm pizza place!!!

Best plain pie in Wayne! I don't know what it is about this pizza but it is definitely a stand out among the traditional pizza places in town. If you are looking for brick oven, this is not your place but if you are looking for an amazing perfect cheese to sauce ratio traditional pie you are definitely in the right place! read more

Try the tuna sub. It is amazing! Everything is better than average otherwise.

Must of been an off night. Ordered two calzones and came out cold. They were not made fresh. Sicilian slices not heated through and cheese rubbery. Chicken wings -6 very tiny for $6 bucks. I ordered chicken parm and it was hot thankfully. It was eh ok and gave the one star being it was real and not processed chicken. Save your money. read more
