I walked in this location today around 1:30 & every single person kept on with their coversation No acknowledgement no greeting. Only got their attention when I said hello . Ive worked at a jersey mikes for years and understand why greeting your customers are important. I think theres needs to be a serious retraining as a girl with dreads and glasses looked at me up and down as if I owed her something. Terrible service the place was a mess. It smelled so bad the prep food looked horrendous. Actually quite concerning. no music playing the lobby was dead quite just with their chit chatting in the background. 0/10 read more

Great sandwiches, hot and cold. Sure you may get a better cold sandwich at a local deli and I'm not sure if this is boarshead. You may get a better meatball parm at an Italian restaurant and the cheesesteaks aren't quite as good as Gino's or Pat's, but I can tell you that their Italian sandwich is better than the Italian sandwich at your Italian restaurant and the rest of their sandwiches are way better than any other chain. The sandwiches and ingredients are good quality and fresh to order. You can choose from their menu or get it how you want it. They have a variety of breads, meats, chips and drinks so meet your needs. They use real oven roasted turkey instead of some low grade turkey roll like a lot of other places. Their Italian sandwich has pepperoni to take it up a notch. If you're like me and order online, you may get frustrated when you make a mistake or change something and have to start over again, but I can't fault them for that. Also ordering online, I can't chose anything other than plain potato chips, but when you go there, you can see that they really do have a good selection. They offer catering which makes it really easy to order for group and get variety. The staff is always friendly, the sandwiches are a good size and the prices are reasonable. If you're looking something quick or looking to go someplace with a variety and some healthy options, Jersey Mike's is an excellent choice. read more

I ordered four giant sandwiches # 2 #3 #7 #13. Brownies and cookies. I asked for delivery. The bill was $163! I took the bag that was left on my patio to find no brownies no cookies. I called they owned that mistake and had an employee drop it off. Took the bag of the four sandwiches to the lake. We opened the sandwiches and we got three ham n cheese sandwiches and one turkey sandwich. All drenched in oil n vinegar that the bread was disgusting on top of the order being completely wrong. This Jersey Mike's has gone downhill. It was my favorite place to get sandwiches because they have gluten free bread. The last few times the gluten free bread was stale. The sandwich used to be a nice size. Now they are very thin and mostly lettuce. They are now officially off my list. read more

I cannot believe the poor quality of the Giant Italian sub I ordered. The provolone was so thin it was almost as clear as saran wrap. The prosciuttini was missing altogether. The salami and pepperoni must have been cut by laser; and there were few slices of either. The lettuce and onions were soggy and sparse. The sub was layered with cheap boiled ham, however. It threw off the taste and quality of the whole sandwich. The ingredients were fresh but hardly there. At $16.25 plus tax, I feel like a fool for ordering from there. It is not the same as it usually is. I will not be back. There many other quality and value options for subs in the area. No problems at Jersey Mike's in Ramsey the sandwiches are always fresh, tasty, voluminous and you'll never get stale bread (3 or 4 bread choices at each store.) Jersey Mike's is like any other business, you tell them exactly what you want and they'll come thru for you (it's like buying a car or anything else) I like Jersey Mike's because they have a volume business and as far as I'm concerned, everything tastes just the way it's supposed to. My criteria is "as soon as you open the door you immediately smell the very fresh meats and combo very fresh toppings". I frequent the Ramsey NJ and Ridgewood NJ stores 3-4 times a month and it's always good. read more

I am a huge jersey mikes fan, at any location but this one. I'm new to town, so stopped in for a sandwich. This location is dirty!!!! The counter where the toppings are put on was drenched in oil, lettuce and other toppings which got on every sandwich. The nice older man who was taking orders and slicing meat, this poor man, he was doing all jobs since the girl he was with was negative help. She had an attitude with every single person and was not even asking what we wanted on the sandwich's, what our total was and looked at the consumers like we are ruining her day. She is getting paid to be there! The nice man was asking and communicating with customers on her behalf. Poor guy, she needs to be fired. Go to any other location than this one. I wanted to provide an update since the owner of Jersey Mike's sent me a message along with a very generous offer to come back and give his shop another try in response to my original review. Sure, why not? I did return but I did not contact the owner. I wanted to know if in fact the wrap I received was indeed sub par or if it was 'typical' of what they normally serve day in and day out. Would I have really known either way if the owner got involved? So, I ordered the same wrap and, unfortunately, received basically the same wrap again. Sorry Matt but this wrap, along with the first one, were definitely not 'piled high with quality meat' as you can clearly see from the photo. I have ordered from different Jersey Mike's locations in the past and have always been extremely satisfied with the sandwiches they sell. Today I went to this Jersey Mike's location for lunch and called ahead to place my order. The phone line in this location needs to be serviced or something because I had to call 5 or 6 times to get through. I was finally able to place my order and pick up the sandwiches, however when I got to sit down to eat one of the sandwiches was wrong, missing several toppings including ones that cost extra. I proceeded to attempt to call the establishment in hopes of rectifying the issue, but even after 15-20 unanswered calls I gave up. I'll be going to a different Jersey Mike's location from now on. read more

Good food but bad prices. $9.22 for an 8 inch sub is not good deal. Add a bag of chips and a drink and you are well on your way to $15. You can get a meal at a sit down restaurant for a similar price and probably something healthier than salty deli meats. Once in a while it's nice but I won't go here more than once every three to six months because of the cost. read more

My favorite subs ever. Can't decide which I like best. My go to is turkey but the fresh made tuna salad is very good too.

I am surprisingly disappointed in Jersey Mike's in Wayne NJ. The bread was very stale and I asked for a number 7 with extra swiss and got provolone and nothing extra. That's probably my fault for not watching them make the sandwich. But the stale bread was very disappointing. Usually I go to the wyckoff NJ store and they are always fresh and perfectly made. I think the young staff may be a bit lazy, although they were very nice. But as far as a delicious lunch? Definitely not in the cards today. read more

This was my first ever visit to a Jersey Mike's Subs. The location is the former Let's Yo froyo address. This was Grand Opening weekened. It was packed when I arrived on a Saturday at noon. There were perhaps 10 people ahead of me and then 10 people behind me. I ordered the chicken Big Kahuna Cheese Steak. I didn't expect too much but it was pretty awesome. I bought a regular size but should had bought larger. I listened to Pharrell Williams' "Happy" as I ate my sandwich and watched the never ending line. I'm sure the new Firehouse Subs across the street was just as busy. After the local Quizno's failed, it's strange to have so many sub shops in the same location now. read more

I couldn't wait for this place to open. Mike's Subs were the subs I grew up with. Back when there were only 2 stores in Pt. Boro, my family stopped at Mike's for subs to bring to the beach, soccer games, school events, birthday parties, etc., etc. A real Mike's sub was stuffed with cold cuts and if you wanted it with everything you got shredded lettuce, tomato, and onion with oil, vinegar, and oregano. What is Mike's way? To me, it is a way to overcharge for bread and iceberg lettuce with cheap oil, a scant amount of cold cuts and oregano. Nostalgia aside, Jersey Mike's is nothing like Mike's Subs used to be - not even close, especially the 2 franchises in Wayne and West Orange. The Wayne store has a more airy interior and more visible management than the West Orange store with it's Subway vibe, but the quality of the subs at West Orange is better. I ordered subs from the Wayne store for a lunch meeting and I was bragging about how good they are. Turns out the tuna sub (giant size) had about 1/4 cup of tuna on the whole sub and was completely soggy due to wet lettuce and too much oil and vinegar, which I asked for on the side. The Chipotle chicken wrap had the same issue, it was too wet due to the wet lettuce used. I gave 2 stars because management corrected the situation by covering my next lunch order the following week. Again, I brought these subs to a lunch meeting and all of us were in agreement that the quality of these subs is definitely lacking. There are so many delis in the area that make a better sandwich, so I won't be back and I am so disappointed that the Jersey Mike's franchise has completely missed the mark of what Mike's Subs used to be. read more
