Grabbed brunch and the reviews on the environment didn't miss. The breakfast burrito was good and the portions was just right.

Love vineapple, love the food, the seating options, the vibes, not the coffee and not the prices. read more

Vineapple - Spring Veggie Crostini, Jarritos Pineapple Soda - Italian Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

Went on Valentines Day to grab coffee. It was super cold so we ended up staying there. They had a Valentine Day mixer so they had to close the area early for the event but they let us stay till the very last minute and didn't rush us. Its super cute inside with exposed brick walls and fairy lights hanging from the ceiling. The lattes were AMAZING! We got hot lattes with vanilla syrup and one with oat milk and another with whole milk. I really wanted some latte art and the barista actually told us he didn't know how to but he still tried and it looked so cute! read more

HEALTHY, TASTY food. Super nice staff. Enjoyed the meal at nearby Cadman park = Perfect setting.

Amazing hot apple cider! Add a shot of spiced rum if you feel adventurous. Great combo to beat the cold!

the food was delicious and the presentation was stellar! we ordered cocktails, a meat & cheese board, and the squid ink pasta. delightful atmosphere with personable staff! read more

They say consistency is key, there's been two consistencies for as long as I have been coming to Vineapple (which is all through 2020, sitting outside in the freezing cold and beyond, though less since I've experienced the same issues) one is delicious food and drinks, the other is incredibly unfriendly service staff. Do you remember there used to be a restaurant called Dicks Last Resort where the staff was purposely unfriendly to you? I'm pretty sure they're going for the same effect here. The service is slow and unwelcoming-even in 2020, where people weren't even going out and basically you are treated as a total inconvenience..especially if you ask about the food which has taken exceedingly long. I resent being asked to tip for someone ringing me up as well, though I know that's fairly standard, especially when the service when sitting outside is so slow I end up coming in to get the stuff myself. Luckily the food is good enough to tolerate the Dicks Last Resort theme. read more

This is my favorite cafe/bar/restaurant in all of Brooklyn Heights. The staff is super friendly and the coffee and food are both great. They also have a surprisingly excellent cocktail program. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area. read more

Nice spot, beautiful street, unique menu, was surprised at the service. Obviously this is a popular place and two out of our group really liked their food, several others didn't care for it, sometimes that happens. A few opportunities on service, we asked for several things during our meal and the server forgot both at two different times and never came back, didn't ever refill drinks or ever check to see if all was good with our food. I'm sharing examples in hope it helps. Also surprised that the owner told a previous reviewer they're going to hell, yeah I just read that. read more

I used to love this place but I noticed their sandwiches have gotten skimpier over time. My recent Chicken pesto had hardly any chicken in it and I left lunch still hungry. read more

45 mins wait to sit, 45 mins wait for food, 45 mins wait for another piece of bread. Good luck!

Attended a private party here for a wedding brunch this past weekend and it was wonderful. The whole restaurant was reserved for our party and we even had a little patio space outside in the back to spread out. I love how they commit to the theme and had pineapples everywhere. The coffee was GOOD! Strong and hot - just how I like it. They were generous on the amount of food they kept bringing out and everything we tried was delicious. It's a really cute restaurant and I look forward to returning. read more

I came here on a whim one day and I was in a situation where the other 2 people I was meeting with were running extremely late. I explained the situation to the person seating me and even though the place was a bit busy, they still seated me and checked on me frequently until the rest of my party arrived. I looooved the music choice and the food and drinks were very good. The ambience was the cherry on top. read more

Quite a busy brunch spot on a quiet set of streets named after some fruit. I had my pup with me so we sat in the garden area. Even though the service wasn't good (took about 20 minutes for the server to come by to take our order), the cocktails came out quickly and the Eggs Benedict wasn't bad. Price is pretty standard for the area. Menu was your standard brunch fare with items such as avocado toast or a breakfast sandwich. This spot was nothing special and I would probably just take a coffee or latte to-go if I were to stop by next time, although Joe's Coffee Company is also close by. read more

I felt very uncomfortable the entire time my partner and I were there. All of the servers we spoke to, 3 out of the people working there at the time, were extremely intense and were kind of aggressive in their tone. The food was tasty but expensive for what it was and the coffee was honestly horrible. I had an iced latte with caramel syrup. It tasted purely of sugar so much so I couldn't drink it and was very small. My boyfriend had a cappuccino which tasted as if the coffee was extremely burnt. Sadly I would definitely not return read more

The service was not good because the waitress took a long time to come to our table to take the order. The waitress forgot to give my side of avocados. The waitress did not come back to check on us to see how we are doing after we got our food. We were expecting her to come check up on us because that standard for a waitress and because we wanted hot sauce. She was walking by our table and I had to get her attention to get hot sauce. Then she took a long time to get us the hot sauce too. The food was not good. The French Toast my friend got was soggy. The scrambled eggs my friend and I got had more mushrooms than eggs and the taste was all mushrooms and no eggs. The avocado toast my husband got was tasteless also. Overall, the experience was not good and we do not plan to go there again. read more

Their happy hour special was great! I had their charcuterie platter, which was delicious. Aperol spritz and drinks on tap were also good. It's fairly quiet/empty before 6pm-ish, so I've noticed some people work/study here before then. Indoor dining was spacious, comfortable, and had cute decor. read more

If you like a quant and cozy ambiance and outstanding food that is wholesome, fresh, and delicious, the Vineapple Cafe is for you! Further, the staff is also top-notch and will really impress you. And in my own personal experience, if there's any kind of an issue, they will see that you are taken care of. Lastly, the Vineapple Cafe is located in an extremely beautiful part of Brooklyn: Brooklyn Heights. My partner and I often take a walk on the very picturesque Brooklyn Heights promenade before or after lunch or dinner at Vineapple Cafe. The promenade has without question, breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline! read more

This place is an amazing find for study spots in NYC. Came in at 9am on a Monday (when I expect all working cafes to be totally packed) and while there was a steady line for the counter, the place is so spacious and has so much seating I had my choice of spots. They have couches and low tables, regular cafe tables as well as bar seating. Also the wifi is excellent. I got a chive and cheddar biscuit (great spices) and an iced coffee and both were great. Vineapple will definitely be my go to study/hangout/coffee spot in BK heights! read more

I was here this morning and our server was very rude. We sat out back because they said they had heaters, but none of them worked. Our server had an attitude the entire time and made us feel like we were being a pain for asking for the heaters and a water bowl for our dog. Also at the end he asked for our card to pay but we never saw the bill. So we asked to see the bill and he kept repeating our bill total amount and again made us feel like we were being high maintenance for asking to see the bill before paying. It was very awkward. read more

Vineapple recently underwent a complete re-branding and I'm all here for it; a great choice in the neighborhood if you're looking for an excellent brunch experience, or simply want to catch up with a friend over a fine hand-crafted cocktail. There are several different food menu options for anytime of the day, but their tapas and small plates to share seem to be the hit at Vineapple. Seating is available out front on the street, indoors, and out on their large backyard patio. Servers are friendly! read more

One of our favorite restaurants in the neighborhood! The food is terrific, healthy and yummy. They have the best gluten free bread as well as gluten free pastries and oat milk and almond milk.
