Fantastic brunch on a Monday! Surprisingly, it got pretty busy for lunch on a Monday, so I can only imagine how busy it gets on a weekend. This is a cozy spot to sit and catch up over lunch or also work remotely. They have a lot of specialty cafe drinks that sound really fun to try. I got the sea salt maple matcha and I enjoyed those flavor combinations a lot. I ordered the lunch special with the sandwich and the soup. For sandwich, I ordered the turkey club which had seasonal ingredients like the squash and was reminiscent of a thanksgiving meal in a sandwich. The soup was the butternut squash which is seasonal. It was the perfect amount of food leaving me feeling full but not too full. Servers were really friendly and accommodating. We did have to ask a couple times for water refills, and we were a table of 4 so the carafe would empty faster of course. read more

Attended an event at Vineapple and it's clear that this staff knows how to host a party. The service was attentive, prompt and kind. The good was good... My favorites were the penne and the tiramisu (not pictured). Personally, the pesto left something to be desired. The biggest surprise for me was the crostini platter. There was one with cherry ... I didn't know I needed that... And I want more! Good selection of both cocktails and cocktails, with a cute outdoor patio. I will certainly return next time I'm in DUMBO. Was looking for a fun brunch/lunch spot and came across this place. They had a lot of indoor seating but we wanted to sit outside. The hostess walked us out towards the back and it was kind of hidden backyard vibe that was very lowkey. Our male server was so friendly, funny and had a great personality. We had some small requests and he was able to make it happen for us which goes a long way. The coffees were great and they had some nice healthy options. I've also come here for a casual dinner for date night or to catch up with a few friends. Come to think of it, I've even brought my parents here. Vineapple feels like a place for Brooklyn heights locals. Tucked off Henry street, the exposed brick and patio garden make you feel like you're visiting a good friend's place where you're guaranteed a relaxed good time. The open kitchen and simple coffee/cocktail menu make you feel right at home. Sometimes I feel like this is where F.R.I.E.N.D.S would have filmed their Brooklyn spinoff as its own version of Central Perk. Vineapple is a neighborhood staple and safe bet for any meal or company you're with. I've never left disappointed. The place is decorated very nicely & it's a trendy place in a good area off Clark St, There's a spot to buy baked goods along with several indoor & outdoor tables. We got sat right away for Monday lunch. I ordered a sweet peach iced tea which was delicious. I also ordered the Brooklyn Heights breakfast. The service was very friendly and welcoming. I liked the taste of the meal though the eggs were undercooked for my preference. Also I didn't like the sourdough toast much as I wish it was softer and more sourdough tasting. The bowl of fruit was massive and was most of my meal. The pineapple was so juicy. The prices are around 15-25$ a person for a meal. They also serve a variety of drinks. Vineapple is on Pineapple Street. I know, what a cool name, right? They had some menu up front with baked goods right there, for anyone wanting to get some drinks and quick food to go. Since we were there to dine in, we walked towards the back. In the back, there were several tables and chairs, in a very cozy atmosphere. Through the back door, they have a lovely patio with tables and chairs as well. We went there for a brunch. We had Cold Brew because we wanted to get a drink in their pineapple glasses. LOL. Cold brew was strong and good coffee. We also had Sparkling Lavender Cucumber Matcha. It was a very interesting drink that works so well! Very refreshing, not sweet, not too fizzy. For food, we ordered Brunch Breakfast Sandwich and Shakshuka. Scramble egg was so moist and juicy! Bacon was crunchy. Parmesan fries were very potato-y. It was a really nice sandwich, very tasty and satisfying. I enjoyed every bite! With the Shakshuka, we added Chorizo for additional $5. Shakshuka was packed with flavor. Chorizo was amazing, egg was cooked perfectly, avocado was just ripe and fresh. It was a really nice shakshuka! We had such nice brunch there, we decided to go back for more! During our second visit, we ordered Shaken Lavender Latte. The coffee was strong, amazing taste with perfect sweetness. Very good latte! For food, this time, We went with The 71 Brunch Burger, and Bacon Egg & Cheese Pizza. The Burger, some say it is the best burger in Brooklyn and I can understand. It had full of flavor, super juicy, and bits of pineapples in there which were great. Pizza was much larger than expected. It would've been enough to share among the two people, plus maybe a dessert to share. It had lots of gooey eggs and bacon, it was a perfect brunch pizza. It was a really good pizza, so satisfying and filling. We had a really nice brunch here for the second time. During our both visits, server Eddy took care of us. This is a MUST for brunch! We checked this spot out for a weekend brunch. I did make a reservation but otherwise it looked like a brief wait. It's cozy, casual, and a little loud but a nice atmosphere . They have an adorable little garden seating area out back but it was a bit chilly, so opted for inside. Service was super attentive and our meals were out within 10 mins of ordering. A good sized brunch menu which was great. I tried the Matcha Martini ($16) which was delicious! The Bloody Marys that others in my party had were a much larger portion but very strong. I tried the breakfast burrito ($16) with avocado which was a great combo of hearty flavors and well cooked. The small portion of potato wedges that came with it were also well cooked and delicious. Brooklyn Heights Brunch - Classic options with a welcoming vibe There are always great options for brunch in Brooklyn and we were looking for the perfect place within a short walking distance of the Brooklyn Bridge and DUMBO on a recent weekend. On the fruit-inspired named streets of Brooklyn Heights, Vineapple pops out of the scenery of surrounding restaurants and spots. The front end has a to-go coffee and other options but in the back, there is a full restaurant with a secret garden seating area. Eddie welcomed us with the food and drink specials. Upon our earlier arrival, we saw the wave after wave of people coming in as the morning progressed. Also, make a reservation for the outdoor space because if you don't have it, the outdoor space was booked or it all can get rained out because it is not completely covered by a roof. For the drinks, their coffee is quite strong and it comes in cute glass pineapple-shaped glasses which makes it fun. I recommended going with a latter or one of their specialties. We have had the barista drink of the week, latte, and their cold brew. For the brunch menu, there are a ton of options but be careful about the sizing. I ordered the bacon egg cheese pizza and that item could easily feed two or three people so I would be mindful of the size. We have had a few different brunch items. 1. Shashuka has poached eggs, zesty marinara, avocado & parmesan, served with toasted bread and we added chorizo for an extra $5. 2. Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Pizza has pizza romano topped with bacon, egg, mozzarella and arugula. 3. The Brunch Breakfast sandwich has soft scrambled eggs with asiago, arugula, and house-made tomato jam, served with parmesan potatoes. The breakfast was good, though nothing too special on the menu that immediately stood out to me. Didn't know what to expect. What caught my eye on the menu was the burger so my friend and I were of like minds and we both ordered one. If you are hungry, you will be very happy you ordered it because it is huge and will need two hands to hold it so you can bite around it. Most of us even those with a big mouth will find it hard to handle. It's no wonder because it is packed with a fried egg, pickled onions, lettuce, tomato, cheese and spicy mayo on top of a thick burger. Just writing about it is making my mouth water with the fond memories of the experience. Don't forget to ask for extra napkins cuz you'll need them. However what wasn't plentiful was the small serving of steak fries that came with it. But the hearty burger made up for it so I guess it's acceptable. Popped in to Vineapple without a reservation on a Saturday AM and they were great about fitting us in (although I would recommend getting a resy) -- food was delicious, I got the egg scramble with olive bread (sooooo tasty!) and a massive side of fruit. my brother and i came to vineapple for a quick dinner -- it has a cafe / coffee shop front and acts as a cozy place to study, transforming fully to a restaurant as the evening hits. we were seated fairly quickly and the service was overall friendly but not super attentive (took a while to get our order taken and our check even though the place was mostly empty, but we weren't in too much of a hurry). we shared a truffle cream and lemon crostini to start, and while the truffle wasn't overtly present, the citrus added a nice touch for a refreshing starter. my brother chose the cacio e pepe mac as a main while i went with the rigatoni which seemed like a staple. i generally enjoyed the rigatoni, although i don't think there was much to write home about. everything came out quickly and seemed pretty fresh. read more

What a find! We happened to be biking to Brooklyn and this showed up as a brunch option close to Brooklyn Bridge. I am so glad we stopped by. The food was amazing. Let's start with the ambiance though. It is a small cafe. We stopped by on a summer day and sat outside so it worked out well. I realized after seeing more reviews that they have a backyard as well. The service was nice and quick. You place your order inside and pay and they bring the food out to you. For the food I got their iced mocha with oat milk. It was so good. I wish I had taken another one. It's served in a super cute pineapple glass. For the meal we got the Shakshuka which was amazing, the berry French toast which was amazing and the Parmesan potatoes which were amazing (due to the dipping sauce). It has great breakfast options (coffee, sandwiches) in the morning, but in the afternoon, walk to the back dining room for cafe style & bar seating and have a well-crafted cocktail (their Maple Woods is a nice bourbon drink). A limited menu, but what they have is done very well. We love to order appetizers so we'll get their hummus, polenta fries (a must!) and chicken skewers. It's reasonably priced, and you'll see some people on their laptops enjoying a nosh while working, and couples as well. We came on a Sunday evening and it was pretty quiet. The owner also wanted to close earlier since we were the only party there so be aware if you go towards the evening to give yourself enough time. They closed the kitchen around 8pm and was nicely asked to close up at 8:50pm. For food, we tried 2 of their pastas which were decent, but not worth the price. Conveniently placed close to Clark St Station, and a really cute place. Our service was great. Very helpful and friendly server. Food came in good time. The drinks were by far the best part of the experience. Unfortunately the food was really lackluster for me. I got the salmon which was underwhelming. Very simple flavors which isn't bad (it was tasty), but I could've just made it at home... For dessert, I was really excited to try the bread pudding but it was dryer than I expected. This was an intentional find for a few friends meeting in the middle of the city post work on a random Tuesday on the second last week of September 2025. We made it in time for their happy hour and got to order their 3 dollars off regular price drinks. The drinks were mid to say the least in strength and taste. Ironically while the 13 dollars per drink seems like a great deal at first, the glasses size to serving ratio is a joke and should be illegal. While the staff were all wonderful and polite, and the ambiance cutesy, the food was also really not it. This was an Italian place or purported to be based off the dinner menu but the rigatoni was just ok- the rapini looked and tasted like none of the ingredients belonged together and the chicken Milanese was decent. One aspect that was very good was the appetizers off the happy hour menu: the polenta "fries" and the hummus were super delicious and fresh, as were the breads carrots and sauces served with them. Overall I would not go back to this place for the cost to food ratio as well as the quality of most of the items. read more
