Once we took it on the highway, the belt broke off, coolant exploded and we lost power steering because the belt broke off the track and the car overheated. We brought it back a third time and they fixed it again but forgot to refill the coolant. The incompetence was unbelievable. This place seems legitimate but it isn't. You should go anywhere but here.

A simple tire repair should not have taken 2 1/2 hours, yet that's exactly how long I was there. What I don't understand is why the technicians spent time opening my hood and inspecting mechanical components that had absolutely nothing to do with the reason I came in. I wasn't there for a vehicle inspection or maintenance--I was there to have a tire repaired. My tire should have been fixed promptly, especially since I had an appointment. To make matters worse, I was charged $43 to repair a tire with a nail in it. Most reputable tire shops charge around $20 for a standard plug-and-patch repair. The biggest disappointment came a week later when the tire started leaking again. I had to take my vehicle to another tire shop, where they repaired it correctly. While waiting, I also noticed that the customer experience left a lot to be desired. The restroom was dirty, the waiting room had uncomfortable chairs, and the television was broken, making an already lengthy wait even more unpleasant. So, after waiting 2 1/2 hours, paying what I consider an excessive price, sitting in an uncomfortable waiting room with a dirty restroom and broken TV, and then having to pay another shop to repair the same tire correctly, I have to ask: Why would I ever go back? Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this location.

The first shop I went to told me there was absolutely nothing wrong with my car and it was in perfect shape. I wish that were true but my car is 12 years old and pushing 275,000 miles. Not to mention that I heard all sorts of popping and clunking noises while I was driving. It's a great commuter car and I'm trying my best to keep her going. That's where C & V comes in. When I got there I was greeted by the very friendly, Regina. I let her know what was going on with my car by doing my best Michael Winslow impressions and she relayed the message to John and the crew. So you can imagine I wasn't happy and wondering what the heck I was going to do. I ended up turning back around and went home. My mechanic was off for the (week which I didn't know),so I tried Vin-J's. Vin was very helpful and was able to take me in the same day ( thank God for AAA for towing my car there). He was able to give the exact amount of what it was gonna cost and within a couple hours my car was done. I was able to get a ride there and have it picked up. My SUV suspension just "felt off" and the techs at this shop discovered one of my sway bar links were completely broken. Don't ask me what that is but Good Lord they were able to fix me right up pronto. Thankfully I didn't need to leave my car her for 3 weeks like many mechanics ask you to do, well not exactly 3 weeks but they tend to take longer than a day at times. This team had me fixed up same day. The mechanic also told me my brakes were pretty worn out but that I could go a little longer before replacing them to save some money and get the most from my current brakes (rear). I value honesty and fair prices which in turn gets my respect & loyalty so the fact the mechanic told me my brakes were wearing out but he didn't want to take my money (yet) when I could get more life out of the brakes I currently have really is amazing. I was super thankful for the honest assessment of my brakes and opted to change them now rather than later. Besides I don't drive much so the brakes I had were probably last replaced about five years ago so from years of weather my rotors certainly looked bad, at least to an amateur like me because I'm certainly no mechanic. Overall I am super happy to have found this place and am committed to being a loyal customer for as long as I live in the Goshen area. If I eventually get a brand new car sadly the team here won't see me for a long time until that new car ages but I'd still recommend them in a heart beat.
