So I went in and found someone else. I don't particularly like haggling because when I buy something I already know what I'm getting into... So going in, handing them a check for the down payment, signing papers, and driving off was pretty much what I did. I think that's why I may have had a good experience with them unlike some other reviewers. Overall, it was a very easy process, the financing paperwork was all done and ready for me when I came in. The person who processed my financing was kind and laid out various options for me in terms of extended warranty and insurance with no pressure added. The car was spotless when I got it and the sales representative spent a good hour with me going over the features of the car. I would buy from them again and likely will when my friend is in the market for his own car. By the way - the Service department is indeed disorganized. I recommend setting up your appointment ONLINE and a MONTH in advance so you can book a time that works for you, or go to the VW in Queens. It's also very awkward and cramped with no drop off space for your car. You drive up to a door and honk your horn loudly.

The sales staff also lied at the point of sale -- they promised a trunk privacy cover as part of the deal, and now they claim it "doesn't exist" for this model. When we asked for an exchange or replacement vehicle, they flat-out refused. Bay Ridge VW takes no responsibility, offers no real help, and leaves customers stranded with defective vehicles. We're now afraid to drive outside the city because we can't trust the car's safety systems. This dealership only cares about making the sale -- once they get your signature, you're on your own. Avoid Bay Ridge VW at all costs. Dishonest sales, terrible service, and zero accountability.

Rather than working with me to understand my concerns or explore possible solutions, the conversation with the Sales Manager escalated. During our discussion, he abruptly stood up and told me, **"Get your ass out of my office."** I was then asked to leave before we could have a productive conversation. Fortunately, after waiting, I was able to speak with the Finance Manager, who treated me respectfully. He took the time to review the paperwork with me, explain the financing in detail, and show me what could have been removed. I genuinely appreciated his professionalism and willingness to answer my questions. In my opinion, the sales process can be confusing, especially during the final paperwork. My advice to anyone considering purchasing a vehicle here is to slow down, carefully review every document, ask about every fee and charge, and make sure you fully understand the terms before signing anything. I'm sharing only my personal experience so other potential customers can make an informed decision. Buying a vehicle is one of the biggest financial commitments most people will ever make, and I believe every customer deserves transparency, professionalism, clear explanations, and respect throughout the entire process.     DO NOT COME HERE FOR PRE OWNED CAR PURCHASE ..... here is our experience we had a very…read moredisappointing experience with the pre-owned sales department at Jack Daniels Kia. On the first day, my brother and I visited the dealership to inquire about a 2019 Kia listed on their website. The salesperson was friendly, and we sat down to discuss the vehicle. We specifically asked multiple times whether the car had approximately 66,000 miles and whether it was a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle with a 100,000-mile warranty. The salesperson repeatedly confirmed that it was certified and included the 100,000-mile warranty. We looked at the car in person, but we couldn't test drive it because the trunk wouldn't close. The salesperson told us it was just a minor repair that would be fixed by the next day and asked us to come back next day at 6:00 PM. He also said he would call us as soon as the car was ready. The next morning, since we were already in the area and genuinely interested in buying the car, we stopped by the dealership. We were told the car still wasn't ready, so we left. We never received the promised phone call or any update from the salesperson. On the third day, we noticed another similar vehicle listed on the Jack Daniels Kia website. I called the salesperson directly using the number he had given me and told him we were interested in seeing that vehicle. Within a few minutes, he called back and said the car was ready and that we could come in. When we arrived, something didn't feel right. Instead of showing us the original vehicle, the salesperson started telling us this other car was much better. Then, within minutes, the story changed again, and the car we had called about wasn't even available for us to see. We were given excuses about how it wasn't his fault. After spending multiple days visiting the dealership and waiting for updates that never came, it felt like our time and interest in purchasing a pre-owned vehicle simply weren't valued. We wasted time, energy, and multiple trips to the dealership without ever getting the opportunity to properly see or test drive the vehicles we came for. Based on my experience, it seemed like Jack Daniels Kia was much more interested in selling new or leased vehicles than helping customers who were genuinely looking to buy a pre-owned car. I hope they improve their communication, transparency, and respect for customers' time before other buyers go through the same experience.
