Just had my rims straightened and powder coated. They look brand new. I dropped it off at night and picked it up first thing in the morning.. it was finished even before they said. I usually go over here for oil changes and some other things. I'm really glad I went there. I feel good I had this work done. The price was fair. I would recommend this place. I'm very satisfied. I noticed that the car was making noise on the highway over 60 mph. I was told there was an issue with my rims being bent. They look like they came out of the factory now no more curb, rash or anything like that. Excellent service. Got my rims bent on the bqe, it was bent really really bad, and I was recommended by my own mechanic at Staten Island to them, so I came by. Shawn is the man I'm telling you, very nice and patient, he got everything organized, and for just a bent rim, they charge on 120 bucks, and it came out like a new rims, second visiting them last time was to recolor the rims and straighten them, and that for 4 wheels on that 19 inch only cost me 600, these guys were great, for a bent rims, definitely go check them out and save yourself time and money read more

I hit a pothole with my car and went into a local repair shop. They told me I needed all types of suspension and work and was gonna cost around $2,500. I went to Repair on wheel and spoke to Shawn and his team of mechanics said all I had was a bent rim which they could repair on sight. They charged me a fair price for the rim repair and a wheel alignment which was $2,000 less than the other mechanic, I asked them to do a full check on my car due to their honestly and told me the car was in great shape and I might need breaks in 6,000-10,000 miles. Dec 8th, 2024 Came back here for 4 new tire installation, the process was simple and straightforward, that is until the job was complete. After I paid for the work, I went to inspect the work that was performed (I always do this). And I was shocked, there were chipping and scratches on 2 of my rims from the installation of the my tires as shown in attached photo labeled (Dec 8th 2024). Yes, I could've went somewhere else, but I've came here for services many times and they always done a great quality job. I immediately went back to the shop and I spoke with Alex(Shorty), he was very generous, and professional. Instead of trying to brush off their mistake or shifting the blame to me (like what a lot of shops do nowadays), they actually admitted their mistake and is willing to refinish the 2 rims that were damaged at a later date. I wish all or more auto shops can have this type of attitude. I gave 3 stars this time because even though they messed up on something, they're at least honest and is willing to make up for it. Between 2015 and 2016, this shop charged me (over the course of numerous visits) over $6000 for various jobs on my two vehicles, each of which left the shop with more problems than it came in with. Car#1: 1996 Cadillac Deville. Symptoms: check engine light on, black smoke from exhaust, running rough. Repairs on wheels charged me to replace all eight spark plugs, which did not solve the problem. They then "changed" a faulty coil pack, for which I was charged another $700. An independent inspection specialist later confirmed the coil pack was never changed. Car #2: 1996 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham. Symtom: loss of lower, check engine light on. Leak from front main seal on engine. Repairs on wheels replaced the fuel pump. After picking the car up and driving less than a mile from the shop, the engine overheated and coolant sprayed everywhere. I had it towed back to Repairs on Wheels. They claimed the thermostat was faulty, charged me to replace it, and sent me on my way. Within 5 miles of driving, I noticed an erratic idle, random engine surging with no gas pedal input, and occasional stalling. Once again I brought it to Repairs on Wheels. The front main seal they replaced was now leaking even more severely than when they replaced it. They informed me that the car's computer was faulty and needed replacement. This was another additional several hundred dollars and did nothing to solve any of the existing isses. Two full weeks pass. Finally I called and asked if any work was being done on the car and was informed it was parked in a lot outside. The attendant they sent to retrieve it promptly smashed the front chrome bumper into a support pillar for the elevated train above, causing a fist-sized dent that could not be fixed and I had to replace the bumper at a different shop. On the way to the next repair shop, it overheated again. Finally, I sold both cars. The new owner of the Fleetwood Brougham later told me that the front main seal had never been replaced, the incorrect computer had been installed (and probably for no reason), and that the ultimate culprit of all of these issues was the fact that the original replacement fuel pump they used was incorrect. This caused erratic fuel flow which affected the oil and coolant pressure, among other things. I was charged over $6000 for highly incompetent work that caused further damage to both vehicles. I am fully prepared for the shop's owner to fully rebut all of this, but thankfully I've saved every receipt and work order. The level of dishonesty and outright thievery that I experienced here is not something I would recommend to anyone. Instead of taking the time to properly diagnose each issue, they simply replaced random parts with faulty incorrect ones and charged me thousands for the privilege. Alex was quite lovely in person and when preparing a work order, but his attitude changed rapidly once I kept bringing the vehicles back in (which was their fault, as I wouldn't have had to return at all if the jobs had been done correctly in the first place). In addition, when I refused the service I was told the labor charge for diagnostics was $75, when earlier that morning I was told this was $45.
