Thank you, Carriage House, for giving my 1994 Toyota Corolla the love (and tons of sheet metal!!) it needed! You did an absolutely amazing job. Friends and family can't believe how gorgeous it looks... "like a brand new car"... "like pure gold!"... the comments are effusive! I tried a cheaper company first, and their work was terrible. I literally cried when they were done, the job was so bad. So I bit the bullet and brought my poor car to you... and boy am I thrilled with the outcome. It was worth every precious penny. Your work is your greatest advertisement; it speaks for itself, loud and clear. Not to mention the super friendly and ultra professional service at the front desk -- Jay, Tony and everyone -- thanks so much once again. You have my solid recommendation. read more

Always a pleasure to work with Carriage House. I have used them a few times over the years, as has my whole family. They are honest, knowledgeable and reliable. Their work is always spot on and amazing. The best parts, they will be up front with you- and you always know they have your back. They have a great team there, really cool guys. Fair pricing, take their time, but with that being said will surely have your car back in a timely manner. I no longer live in Fresh Meadows, but still go back to that area to use these guys- put it that way. If you ever need, look no further. Check them out. HIGHLY recommend. read more

Amazing operation. James and his sons always coordinate all services with excellent customer service. Their operation is top notch and go way beyond to provide the best results for your vehicle. Their prices are extremely fair and complete your repairs in a timely manner. You will never be disappointed with services. The quality of their services is amazing too. read more

Everything they do is top quality..great service and quick turn around. Quality parts and excellent customer service

Actually the NICEST people ever. I got hit from behind and the insurance had them listed as closest to me. When I went to go drop off my car they called enterprise to bring me a rental. They fixed my car within 3 days (it was originally estimated to stay a week and a half at the shop). Truly truly such nice people that made everything seamless. Couldn't recommend enough! read more

Outstanding! Excellent! Highly Recommended! If you have the unfortunate accident do not hesitate to go to CHC. My insurance company suggested them and boy am I glad I listened. My car looks beautiful and I appreciated the kind manner of the guys behind the counter (and obviously the technicians). I usually rely on the men in my life to help me out but I did this all on my own. As a woman it can be intimidating to walk into a collision shop but I was always treated with respect and I felt comfortable the whole time. As mentioned above this place comes highly recommended! read more

When an SUV recently ran a Stop sign and T-boned my car, I was really upset, but life happens. Luckily, no one was injured and her insurance covered everything at my end due to her negligence and recommended I bring my car to Carriage House, where they could get an estimate of the damage. Though the amount of damage was over the value of the car, which was credited to me by the insurance company, I opted to pay the difference to get the car fixed instead of sending it to the junkyard. They were contacted by the insurance company and were ready to receive me when I arrived. Peter and Tony are excellent and truly professional! When I dropped off my car for the initial evaluation, Tony drove me to the local rent-a-car agency to get a temporary vehicle. Peter was great in getting me a good and fair estimate very quickly and it was a no-brainer to have them do the work. During the repair process, which took 2 weeks, Tony kept me updated via text message on the state of the car and sent me pictures of their progress. Once completed and I went to pick up, Tony made it a point to say that their repairs are guaranteed for the life of the vehicle and to come back if there are any problems. He even followed up with me the next day to make sure all was well with the car. And it was. Huge thanks to Tony and Peter for making this stressful situation into a smooth and pain-free experience! I can't recommend them enough! read more

These guys are the best. Been here with two different cars via insurance claims, fast, courteous and friendly. Always happy with the work they do. If I have an option go go to any shop, hands down I would come here. read more

Honestly the best kind of customer service everyone wishes to receive. I brought car in to be repaired from an accident as they work with the insurance company. From Peter calling me to set up appt, to arrival at their office and spoke with James (found out after I left he is the owner) to the drop off to the car rental company they work with. I received a call within 2 hours of drop off when car would be ready. It's so wonderful to be surprised with such extraordinary customer service. HIGHLY recommend and I am so happy to have now a lifetime location to recommend and use again for any future car bodywork. read more

I needed a drivers side mirror to travel to Maine in a few days. Carriage house had it the next day, painted it and it was ready that morning. You can't beat service like that. Perfect color, fit and mechanics. Strongly recommended. read more

This place was great! It was friendly service and professional. The best part about this place was the turn around time. It took a week to get the car fixed when the accident occurred. They even had a tow service come off hours to pick up my car. They were also informative throughout the whole insurance process. They let me know what was being done and what insurance was covering and even gave helpful info regarding the insurance. Would highly recommend using this place. read more

Excellent Customer service!! Super fast service! I'm very satisfied with the job completed. carriage house turned an unpleasant situation (my car accident) in to a very pleasant one. Loved the daily texted updates regarding my car repair. I would recommend Carriage House to anyone!! Keep up the excellent work guys! read more

I can't say enough good things about this body shop. I recently got into a little fender bender and my insurance company recommended Carriage House. At first I was a little hesitant like any else in search of a new body shop. After doing a bit of research and reading up on some reviews online, I decided to give them a shot and see how it would turn out. I don't regret the decision for a single moment. They do amazing work but above all else, their customer service is amazing. They called me almost every other day to keep me updated on where they were with the repairs. A repair that was supposed take 2+ weeks took them a little over a week. When I got my car back I stepped into a brand new vehicle. I was pleasantly surprised to find that everything had been cleaned immaculately. The floors were vacuumed, the seats were cleaned and the panels were all wiped down. Its the little things like that that keep body shops like Carriage House I'm business for years and years. I'd recommend this place to anyone in need of any body work with plenty of friendly customer service. read more

This is the place to take your car after an accident if you want the job done right. Although on the expensive side, they will do what they can to help you save some money. My vehicle had its front bumper cover completely torn off in an accident, that the insurance refused to pay for. They had ordered the bumper cover for me and painted it ahead of time. Then I came and they installed it in under two hours so I did not have to leave the car there for long. This easily saved me $200 just in rental car fees i'd have to pay if the car were to be left in the shop. read more

They are good at what they do. They know what they are doing. And most of the time they finish the job earlier than they estimate. They are not cheap but you get what you pay for! :) read more

Tony and Peter really made the entire process quick and without any bullshit. I was at fault with an accident. I brought my car in. It was fixed within a week and i just paid my $500 deductible. I cannot even tell that my car was even in an accident. If you want repairs done on your car without any drama/bullshit please let carriage house collision take care of you. read more

Towed my car, reported it to the WRONG precinct, took me 2 days to find my car and not only did they make me pay for those two days (even though it was their fault I couldn't find it), but they were very rude about it. Not to mention, not 1 person (and there were at least 6) was wearing a mask. Disgusted to say the least. read more

I highly recommend, excellent customer service and very professional, ask for Peter great guy.

This is the BEST Body Shop. I highly recommend Carriage House Collision to anyone who loves their car and only wants the VERY best. The bodyshop is unlike any other I have ever visited, extraordinary! They have worked on my car several times and every time was prefect. They are honest and kind. Recently had to have my car towed to them after a truck hit it while I was parked. My insurance company recommended them. There customer service for an auto body shop is unbeatable. I got regular text messages on the status of my car and the work was flawless. I would recommend them to anybody! read more

This review only accounts for a total of 10 minutes spent with Carriage House Collision, but isn't that a great thing during a stressful time? I had damage to my driver's side fender / bumper on my Honda. When I called USAA (my insurance company) for advice, they suggested Carriage House for repairs. They were not wrong! My insurance company already had contacted Carriage House to authorize the estimate, and within an hour Carriage House contacted me to bring the car in. No appointment was needed, they took me right away on a Monday morning. The staff was super friendly and already had paperwork lined up for me to authorize repairs. They called within a few hours with the estimate and dealt entirely with my insurance company on their own. As they worked over 4 days, I received regular text updates as to the status of my car and expected pickup date. They gave me a call when the car was done (1 day early!) and told me to come by to pick it up. I inspected the repairs, paid my deductible, and left without having to spend more than 10 minutes in their shop from start to finish. The documentation is THOROUGH. They had a log of every call made to me, every transaction with the insurance company, every step of obtaining parts, exact steps taken during labor, and a full inventory of repairs. They didn't just simply repair my fender/bumper, they went so far as to check the parking sensors! The paint job was flawless and blended perfectly with the rest of the car - you would never know any damage was done. Not only do the repairs look beautiful, but they cleaned my car before giving it back! Amazing service - these guys know what stress looks like and did everything they could to make this a calm and smooth process. I hope I don't need to return - but they guarantee their work for the life of the car. I know we're in good hands! read more

Been here a couple times to take care of my car that had broken windows. They take great care of their customers! I had to come back to fix a mount that broke and became unglued for my sliding window installed almost 4 years ago and they took care of it first priority! Work is gauranteed! read more

My insurance covered all the charges from the accident but that doesn't mean you rip off the company. Few days in after having my car, they called us to tell us they couldn't locate my car keys, Are you serious?? The fix was fine but left few paint scruffs, scratched up my new Keys (auto start type). The trunk cover inside wasn't resting well, took the guy 30 mins to fix it and it still didn't look right. But they must of done something wrong because the cover should not have been popping up like that. Only my back and front bumper was damaged no ignition or mechanical fixes and to charge $8,500 come on now. Would def go to a different shop next time. read more

If you want the best body repair for your vehicle Carriage House is the place to take it. Highly specialized professional's in everything they do. My car had some side swipe damage done to it by another motorist and I took it to Carriage House for cost of repair and they gave me a great price to fix it and a lifetime warranty on the work they did to it. The paint job was flawless and a 100% match to the OEM paint from factory. After it was all done, you can't even tell anything ever happened to the car. Tony was the gentlemen who helped me with it all. I highly recommend anyone upon your visit to directly speak to Tony as he is a car guy and well knowledged in auto repair matter's. read more

October 2014 My car had to be towed after an accident and it was stored at this location. A few days after I picked up my car I noticed that my sunglasses were stolen. In addition, I was cleaning my trunk 2 months later and realized that my spare tire was stolen as well. It's rather pathetic to steal a pair of 5 year old used ray bans and a used spare tire from a 99 Honda Civic. Who does that?? Seriously... read more

Jim the owner and manager is great!! They charge reasonable prices for repair. Been going to this shop for years.Never a problem.

I was not asked by anyone at this business to write a review but I was so pleased with my experience I wanted to share. I often have car repairs done by a family friend and the few times I've not used him I've been very displease , this time was different. Everyone at carriage house was super friendly and they explained everything to me throughly. I revived daily text messages with updates and photos of the progress of my car and all the work was finished on time. When I arrived to drop my car off the called enterprise for me and reminded me not to add the rental company insurance that enterprise will offer because I am covered by my insurance . My car looks great and when I picked it up I was told i could leave the rental with them which saved me having to take the bus home. Great experience I would definitely recommend this place ! read more

This place is great. The customer service can not get any better. Tony kept in touch with me and text me updates on the repair of my car and called after pick up to make sure I was happy. Could not get any better than that. read more

Tony's a great guy. Keeps you updated by texting you pictures. Their customer service is pretty good too. They had to do some touch ups because they didn't do the best job of repairing my vehicle. The part they had to touch-up was the plastic molding but when I went to pick up my car there was a guy there, I believe his name was James (he's the owner and he's in the photos on this yelp page) and he kept saying "it's just plastic" as if it doesn't matter how it looks since it's plastic. If people pay for a service they don't want half-ass work done whether it was a minor detail or it's plastic. There are better places out there who might even do it for cheaper. If you need a last resort, this is your place, otherwise, go elsewhere. read more

by far one of the most friendly honest auto body shops around worked on my car on a timely manner and went above and beyond buffed out some of scratches on my car not related to the work as curtsy awesome place read more

Ummm...I would go elsewhere! Previously we have had our work done at K&E but since this establishment was closer to our home we made the decision to have the work done here. The work took 7 days. We went to pick up the car and we were extremely upset. There were chips, alot of spots that were either not addressed or not painted. They did the entire side of the car but left out the gas cover and the handle. Really?? Just include that in the paint job. We expressed our concerns with management. Left the car there one more day. We picked up the car and everything was taken care of. What if we didn't voice those major concerns. They were satisfied with that finished product of their work. That's a shame if that's the case. read more

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Carriage House. I had an accident and had no idea where to start. They were wonderful and patient right from the beginning. They handled everything. I do not remember my car looking so beautiful. My car was IMMACULATE and my rims were unbelievable. It doesnt even look like I ever had an accident.
