From beginning to end of the process everything was perfect. They have insurance adjusters on site to guide you through the estimate process. When i dropped my vehicle off for repair, they wstimated it would take 7 days. They had it done in five days! The work was impeccable. They even washed, waxed the exterior, and vacuumed and cleaned the interior. The customer service is excellent. Very friendly and helpful, honest employees. I will start by saying, from walking in on a Saturday morning at 8am everything was great. Chris and his staff did an amazing job handling the entire process. I only went there by direction of Geico claim. My passenger fender, headlight and front bumper was replaced due to a collision. I would say they do quick work and are friendly but the paint was way off, the repair was darker and a different shade. I know the car is a 2004 but you can clearly see a difference. Terrible service brought car to get accident fixed first off clear coat had runoff!!! This is on a 2018 honda accord touring didn't fix rim that originally got hit had to bring back to fix rim and to fix overspray clear coat that was left all over my windows and on chrome trimmings, picking it up the second time was worse they scratched both rims on the other side that was unaffected by original accident then on the left side gray overspray paint ( look like high velocity paint splatter) was left on both driver passenger door manager "Dion" made it seem like i was crazy was mean gave me attitude did not help had to pay workers to fix paint and clear coat damages right side rims were left scratched upset with this place not professional at all no manager skills no no people person skills Hate this place!!!!! I got my car in 24 hours. It had a dent and a few scratches I went here because of my insurance geico. But I didn't realize my deductible was way too much. Lesson learned Geico rips us off pretty good. I'm happy with the dent coming off but financially robbed at this time. My deductible was $750 and the total bill was $900+. read more

The on site rental car pickup was easy and seamless through Geico. The body repairs were acceptable, and thats it. This company's willingness to work on repairs through adjuster was futile, they banged out the job and called it a day. My seats were in need of replacement, they refused to argue the point and called it wear and tear. My car was brand new. Beyond that, they were not meticulous so upon vehicle pickup I identified unrepaired damage, and there was still broken glass inside the car. Honestly, go somewhere else if you want quality service. So I went to Wayside auto today because I got into a car accident two days ago. I love the fact that they are a mom and pop business and have a been around for 50 years. My husband came here for his truck when he got into a car accident and it was done smoothly efficiently, and quickly. His customer service experience was impeccable so, when I got into an accident the first thing he said was take it to Wayside! they are also a Geico representative. When I came in Gary who is the Geico representative and Chris who is the owner both warmly greeted me. They were empathetic to my needs and unfortunate car accident. they explained everything to me like the parts I needed and showed me photographs. I feel they are incredibly honest and have nothing to hide so they go above and beyond to show you exactly what's wrong with your car and what needs to be done. Their examination of my car and what it would need to be repaired was very thorough. they also take photos and called me as well as wrote a report. this is something that continues until you pick up your car. I was then taken to a back lot where I was able to rent a car I had mentioned I did not want to exceed what the insurance company was paying for my Rent-A-Car they gave me a 2018 Kia. After all the paperwork was filed and my husband and I were leaving we walked past our car and to my surprise they were already working on it! There were 10 other cars in the garage so it wasn't like ours was the only one. I will do an update as my car progresses to be repaired but so far I am extremely happy with this company and will recommend my friends and family to go there for any of their automobile needs. read more

My Chevrolet ,I left my car with a small damage to be fixed,but when I picked up my car I found three scratches in different parts of the vehicle including a damage that they did to the passenger window,they also dirty the seats and the floor of the vehicle. Worst body shop around. Do not trust Gieco. Both Gieco and Wayside are colluding. They are committing insurance fraud. Making up invoices and stating work is being done. Which are all false. They stated my car was done in 14 days. It took over five weeks to fix my car. Each and every time I came to try and pick up my car something was wrong with it. They use aftermarket parts they claim they have to and if the aftermarket parts don't work then they order you original parts. Which makes the process even longer. The paint coolers did not match. I had to ask for my car to be cleaned after spending 5 weeks at the shop. They just hand you the keys like we are done that's it. Not a professional work environment. They didn't replace my rim which they claimed they did. It's the same rim that was repurposed. They did not replace my tire they claim they did but they just rotated the tires. Geico claims that you have a lifetime warranty with the body shop which is bullshit. Here I am today telling them that I had paint coming off my bumper and they said no that they never touched it. I have called before hand and the Geico representative told me to come in any day to speak to them and here I am and I get no help but I'm told to come back for us to go in a run around. Don't not leave your car here. It's a nightmare. Gieco representative is no help. The shop representative is a crook. Horrible customer service. Nasty attitude just wants to rush you out. If the owner isn't around nothing gets done and his employees slack off. read more

So thanks to a thoughtless reckless jerk on the Northern State one evening that happened to be going over 90 mph, his SUV or truck got a hairline close to my car and caused scuff marks and my mirror went inwards...thankfully the side driver mirror was not damaged - my side had marks though. Well, went to Jimmy and Chris and they had it buffed out - looked brand new!! Complimentary service with a smile. Such good guys there. I am one of those people who always checks yelp for the reviews to see what people say before I go somewhere. I am slowly starting to realize for some it may be worth the energy to write a negative review while the ones who have had a positive experience may not have the time to do so. I would like to be share my experience After reading the reviews on here I was seriously spectacle to take my car to this shop. Someone burnt off the H emblem from my Honda and I assume in the interim also backed up into my car, breaking the grill, cracking the bumper all to make away with the H emblem. I went through Geico for my claim and they are set up at this shop. Chris my claims adjuster was very helpful and informative. Eddie and Demaro at Enterprise (I have rental insurance through Geico) took very good care of me to make sure I got a car I was happy with. The repair shop made my 2009 Honda look brand new! I am so thoroughly impressed by my experience and everyone at the shop who took care of my car and I. I would highly recommend this place and I can tell you I feel such an ease with the magnificent work they did I would definitely go back there again. I brought my VW to Wayside cause my family has brought their cars there in the past and they've always done good work as far as they could tell. Plus they have a Geico office and enterprise within wayside so it's always been a really convenient experience for us. But this overall experience has been a total disappointment for me. I brought my car into wayside after it was rear ended at a red light. Wayside fixed my car and called me to come pick it up the next day. I was driving my rental to the shop the next day, and I saw my car out of the corner of my eye in a lot two blocks away from the shop. No problem, I figured I'd check out the car while Im right there. I walk inside the lot, and as Im doing a walk around of my car, I couldn't help but notice the two dents they put in my driver side fender. Disappointed, I walked to the back of the car and couldn't help but notice the white paint overspray on my license plate. Even more disappointed, I try opening up one of my doors expecting it to be locked. But guess what, unlocked! Mind you this was at like 9 am. And the gate to the lot was unlocked and wide open, which is how I got in. So POSSIBLY, my car was unlocked in an open parking lot, over night, for any passerby to have access to? Who knows if the gate itself was closed overnight, but regardless my car had access to the general public for some period of time. I tell them about the fender, understanding that accidents happen, and they say they'll take care of it. I come back the following Tuesday to pick the car up. They said they took care of the fender and the overspray (I didn't mention anything about fixing the overspray but I was glad that they took the initiative to fix their mistakes). When I get to the car and inspect my trunk/rear bumper, I still saw overspray. I then pop open my trunk and its an absolute mess. Paint and dust EVERYWHERE. Including my $700 subwoofer. Then I try to close my trunk, softly but with some force as I have for the last 3 years, but guess what? Trunk doesn't close. I have to slam it extremely hard for it to stay shut. So my family and I wont be recommending Wayside Auto Body to anyone ever again. These guys are extremely lazy and careless when it comes to taking care of customers cars. Is it THAT hard to put a garbage bag over someone's expensive music system so that it doesn't get covered with shop dust? Mind you, my subwoofer now cuts out when I play music. Stay as far away from Wayside as possible, as convenient as they are with Geico and Enterprise. There's definitely better body shops out there. read more

My car was taken here after being in an accident, GEICO picked the shop. They told GEICO my car will be ready in 9 days, I didn't get my car back until 35 days later. They stated parts were on back order and coming from different states, I called the dealership and picked up the parts myself and took it to the shop. After I still had to wait another week. I have a dash cam in my car that streams live and caught one of their workers stealing money from my car. They said he left for the day when I asked for him, they lost my spare tire and was going through my trunk. I'm missing over $800 worth of things that was in my car and they have no clue where it is. read more

My experience at Wayside was amazing, easily five stars! As a Geico client they are a one stop shop. An insurance adjuster is on sight, as well as enterprise car rental. My car was subject to a hit and run while parked over night, and I was able to get an appointment the same day I noticed it on Monday. The service was very efficient as the car was done on Wednesday. I was set up with a nice Nissan Rogue rental for the duration of repair. The best part is that my car looks brand new, as if it was never hit! Avoid this body shop at all costs! After my experience here, MAACO looks like Neiman Marcus when compared to this CHOP SHOP!!! They did a ridiculously horrible paint job on a minor scratch that was along the side of my car. I am so thankful that Geico guarantees service at it's shops, because I was able to get a different body shop to fix the mess Wayside did to my car. My car was sideswiped when it was parked in the street. The side mirror needed to be replaced, and it had thin scratch across the entire passenger side. I became very skeptical of Wayside's work when they finished my car in one day. They rush through repairs and care little about the quality of work they produce. It was dark outside when I picked up my car from Wayside, so I didn't see all of the over spray and swirl marks that they left until the next morning. And on top of that, my power window was not functioning properly. I returned my car to Wayside the next day and they promised to fix everything. Three days later, they bring my car out to the front, and the first thing I see is a huge collection of spider web scratches on the bumper and fender. There's even BIG brand new scratches on the hood. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the hood of my car when I dropped it off! Obviously, I was pissed. The owners brought my car into the back and said they would be able to rub off all the scratches. I don't understand HOW or even WHY they would return a car to a customer in that condition. So during the 20 mins I waited for my car, two customers pulled up to complain about the work Wayside just did to their cars. At that point, I knew that my car wasn't going to come back looking any better. And of course....after whatever Wayside did to try to fix the disaster they created, my poor car still looked the same. It even came back with primer splattered on the side fender and roof. The owner basically told me that if he tried to fix my car anymore, it would end up looking a lot worse. Geico saved my life, and sent me to another body shop free of charge. The new shop, which is All "N" All in Jamaica, Queens, told me that Wayside did an awful job and my car should not look like this at all. I'm still waiting to see if this new place can fix what Wayside did. There will definitely be an updated review soon! read more

I had a great experience from Wayside 5-6 years ago when my car was repaired here. However, my recent repair last month [once again recommended by Geico] was much less satisfactory. Yes, our car is a 1994, but that doesn't mean one should not have their car repaired to at least the condition it was before the accident. After a long delay waiting for a part [not their fault of course] they must have quickly rushed this particular repair. Yes, this is a very busy shop and they probably weren't making as much money repairing our car but that is no way to run a shop. So when went to pick up the car, I took a quick visual glance and inspection. The hood latch was not properly adjusted. The hood was bouncing when you applied pressure with your hand. The trim around headlights was completely loose and a screw missing. There was still dimples and creases on the fenders from the accident. The hood was misaligned, the gap was larger on one side than the other. The gaps between fender and the new bumper were HUGE. This was just obvious stuff. My expectations were not that high. Yes, they guaranteed the work, but I'm not going to bother. Needless to say, I'm going to reevaluate my insurance company and hopefully never have to bring a car to repair here again. UPDATE 11/2013: I just had my yearly inspection and realized I now have uneven wear on one of the front wheels likely due to this accident. At the time of the repair, they assured me that I didn't need an alignment after the accident. This nightmare never ends. read more

It stops there for me...took my car there to get a dent fixed since it's a lease and I need to return it soon. Didn't want to shop around and since this was a Geico Express Shop and close to me, decided to give it a shot. I have a 500 deductible and new that I was going to pay some money. I specifically said that this was a lease and I was returning it..so needed an adequate job. Both the Geico Rep and the Shop said no problem. Once the job was done...the price was of course my full deductible and $20 from Geico..got the feeling that no matter how large my deductible was..I was going to pay in full. I must say the job itself was done well..and same day...which was great BUT...once I got inside the car..I was horrified...They didn't use any protective mats at all. I had chalk and dirt all over the car floor. This to me is not professional..I had oil changes done cleaner. In final thought...if you have a small deductible or none at all...I would come here for the convenience if you have a large one then I would shop around...there are better and cleaner deals out there read more

I was a bit Disappointed. First of all I was advise the part for my car will be aftermarket and I didn't like that ;( since my car was brand new and the bumper needed to be replaced. Then after few days I was advise that the only original OEM bumper can be install and I have to wait for the part around a week or so. I ended up waiting almost 2 weeks. And finally when I got my car finished who ever replaced the rear bumper cause another dent in my car ?!that is horrible ;( I am very disappointed and not Happy since my car is Mint brant new. Had an accident Thurs night. Called Geico and I was set up to be at Wayside Fri morn at 8:30. I got there at 8am and they helped me right away. As the Geico rep is taking pics, Wayside was right there ordering parts and reviewing. Great team..all of them. Very friendly and explained everything. I was told 8 days and I needed good work done plus paint. I get a call Tues night, car is ready!!! WOW!!! I go to return car rental which is also on site. I go to car and totally impressed...looks new..they even detailed the car inside and out. What a great team. I went to Wayside after geico recommended them to repair damage after a collision. My mechanic looked at the repair and found multiple parts that wer not repaired. I had brought the car back 3 or 4 times due to bumper not aligned and a loud noise coming from the muffler area. My mechanic pointed out a bent muffler as well as the car not "pulled" so that the bumper could not line up. I guess Wayside believed I wouldn't look underneath the car. I went to East Coast Auto Plaza which did a great job repairing what wayside didn't do. My mechanic saw the new repair and said it is fixed. read more

He came out to see my car and said no problem bring it back Tuesday and i'll fix it. I dropped it off Tuesday and prayed. Fast forward to Wednesday, they called and said the truck is ready. I used this auto body shop when someone hit our parked 2008 Honda Civic. This place is a Geico shop and we didn't experience any issues. We dropped the car off on Thursday and was told it would be ready on Monday. When Monday rolled around they were calling me to let us know it was ready. They made every effort to save original parts, and the ones they replaced looked as if nothing ever happened. In addition we had a damaged wheel well cover from a minor accident from a few years ago and they replaced it and included it in the estimate. They could have charged us the 40 bucks, but I thought that was great of them. There has not been any issues with the work that they have done and even if there is, there is a warranty on the parts they replaced and worked on. In addition to all the work they did, they also vacuumed out the car and washed it before having it returned to us. I don't see any reason to not take your car to this location. They treat their customers well, are punctual, and they do excellent work. Great all around experience. read more
