A few months ago, I was hit by a vehicle in my neighborhood when I was pulling out of a parking spot. A friend of mine recommended Sonny's Collision Specialists based on how many of their friends and family use them for all of their repairs. I walked in and was introduced to Jimmy and Pat and a few other of their staff that were in the office. I'm never able to get anywhere with my insurance company, however, within ten minutes of getting all the details they needed, they were able to not only speak to someone who to get my claim resolved, but they were able to start the repairs almost immediately. The repairs took about 2-3 weeks and when I got the call to pick up my car, it looked like I just bought it from the dealership for the first time. I am always grateful for the level of professional service I get from Jimmy and the guys at Sonny's Collision. They are by far the best auto body shop I have dealt with in the nearly fifty years I have been driving. My whole family goes there and any friend who needs some work I tell to go there. I have never had a issue with any of the work they do. They are the most advanced shop with the best equipment in the area and in probably all of Queens. They are up to date with all the certifications that any manufacturer, vendor or insurance company requires. The whole process is managed by them, there is almost nothing you have to do after you drop the car off. Perhaps most telling is if you look into the garage itself where the work is done you will see a place where you can eat off the floor. It is incomprehensible to me how they maintain that level of cleanliness and order but it is symptomatic of how well run the place is and the quality of their work. "Come in NOW!", "We're to busy right now" "Come Back Tomorrow" "The guy that does this died" You heard it all before.
