Beyond amazing quality work and service!!! I found this place through Geico's list of Auto Repair Xpress and initially had my biases based on location- but I couldn't be more surprised or pleased. This place is a diamond in the rough. I had some damage to my passenger side rear tire region. The work was done within a few days. The staff are all second generation and extremely communicative. Edwin was my main person who kept me updated. He was so courteous and is someone I would be friends with. Michael at front desk also knows the ins and outs of the process. I came back due to an out of stock part that came in-- Mason was very thorough and Tim couldn't be any nicer. Tim was so kind to my wife and kid- you don't expect that genuineness and care at an auto shop. This place made me feel at ease and comfortable, which is usually not the experience I've had at other auto body shops. I usually dread going there. I have been back to this place to fix my car through Geico. Both times the repairs we well done visually and when I came back the second time, they were happy to address any issues with the first repair. If you clean out your car they will vacuum it and they are happy to touch up whatever small things are bothering you. One man spent a long time helping us fix a deep scratch that wasn't part of our claim it was really really nice of him. Overall this place is the best and I would highly recommend. They offer rental cars if you need one and trash bags if you need to remove stuff from your car. Basically if you ask for something and they can accommodate it they will and your car will come back looking new! read more

I had to bring my car here for service after being rear ended. Geico sent me to this auto body shop. Their service was great, the process was smooth, the staff all seemed attentive and offered great service. So you may wonder well why 1 star? Upon receiving my car back, the inside had been turned upside down. Everything had been shuffled, as if someone was looking for something they misplaced. After I left I realized I was missing 2 items from my car. I called the shop and they apologized and said they remove everything from the car and then place it back. Fair enough right? I was waiting for a call and never got one back. I called back the following day and got the typical "we didn't find it, but you can speak to a manager, maybe they can help you". The only problem is the manager was not responsive, I could never reach him and he didn't bother following up with me as the customer. At this point I'm left with such a sour taste in my mouth that 2 expensive items were taken from my car during "service". I will be speaking to Geico in hopes that they will not do business with such dishonest people. I hate having to write this review because the staff seemed so nice at first. read more

I've been meaning to update my review for quite some time now but life happens and then this pandemic. To the point, the staff behind the desk are great professionals and attentive when they are with clients. Unfortunately they get into a lot of personal conversations when they're not assisting clients at the desk but while we're seated and waiting. It kind of becomes a hang out and you start to feel awkward as they discuss their personal lives and unprofessional language is thrown in. They're young and I understand but you're still the face of a business and should be careful of your conversations. Anyways I didn't knock them a star down for this. I think the mechanics in the beginning are much better than who they have now. The younger ones who worked on my previous car were very attentive and careful. I now see these elder guys working on my other car and the attention and carefulness just isn't there. When they put my rear lights back on after some body work, they left it unplugged. When the mechanic came back out to fix that issue upon having to return, he drops the brake light housing onto the street and then acts like nothing happened. Unfortunately for me I was busy with something else and forgot to say something. Month later I find that scuff on the brakelight housing and just chalked it up as my fault for not calling it out when it happened. Anyways, I would probably still come back but would be more wary about the before and after. read more

Even when i needed tires they recommended a couple of tires that were a pretty good price and value. You get your work done here in less than hour for small fixes. Incredible service and communication! I can't praise these guys enough. After I got rear-ended a couple weeks ago, Geico sent me here to get an inspection and repair covered by the other party's policy. Their damage adjuster Ulyssa and the young man at the reception desk were infinitely polite, thorough, and efficient. After dropping off my vehicle, I was driven to Enterprise in Astoria to pick out my rental car. They made two courtesy calls in the interim to update me on the status of my repair, which I really appreciated. And when I finally picked up my car, I found that they even washed the exterior and cleaned the interior! I was in major collision. Nearly 12k worth of damages. Major work needed to be done. I went with the Geico assessor's recommendation. Actually he said he slightly favored another shop but when I called they informed me that they were too busy and wouldn't get to my car for a week. So I went with New Win. Very happy that I did. After it was towed I got a call from Peter. I wanted to get right into the details but he stopped me to ask, "Most Important, are you OK?" I was caught off guard by his humanity! He checked with me again about a week later to assure me that it was nearly done and that it looked as though it just rolled off the assembly line. And by the way they fixed a dent in the rear that had not occurred during the collision. Gratis. He wasn't lying. The car looked better than before the collision. Flawless. They seemed to be proud of their work as well they should be. The list of fixes was several pages long. Unfortunately I never had the chance to meet Peter as he was off when I picked the car up. However, it would seem that New Win places great value on friendly costumer centered service as everyone I interacted with was pleasant and professional. I had a, dare I say, delightful experience here (obviously nobody wants to need a service like this but the customer experience was as good as it gets). I decided to go with a Geico-approved autobody shop because I wanted the paint job to be perfect and warrantied by Geico (will explain why this was critical below). Backstory (sorry I blabber on here): I had the misfortune of having someone side-swipe my brand-new-to-me used car while it was parked just two days after I purchased it (both doors plus fender were marred). The car was two years old with 17k on it so it looked brand new before the accident. I didn't just go to the first autobody place Geico recommended based on my address, I looked for the one that had the most stellar online reviews here and on forums. New Win knew I had an extenuating situation that required the car be repaired very quickly and they were so compassionate and caring and worked to repair the car in a timely fashion and they got it done even quicker than they estimated they would (which never happens, in my experience) and the work was flawless, the car looked brand new. I was so worried about the paint matching but they matched it perfectly! The reason why it had to be perfect was that I had the check engine light come on the day before the accident, and was set to return it. I disclosed to the dealership that I'd been side-swiped and because the salesperson felt bad that she'd sold me a lemon, she asked her manager and they offered to take it back anyway if the work was seamlessly/meticulously done. I thought maybe the dealership would have more exacting standards than I did and I was nervous upon bringing it back for their inspection even though to me, it looked absolutely perfect... Anyway, I brought the car back and they immediately accepted the return and said the work was flawless. In fact, someone in the service dept asked for the name of the body shop and said the dealership might consider contacting them to see whether they could "outsource" some repair work to them, that's how flawless the work was. I'm blanking on my contact's name at New Win, i think his name was Edwin (but maybe maybe I'm getting confused by the name of shop?), but he couldn't have been sweeter or more well informed, and the other staff members were just lovely. I can't speak to how much they charge since this was a Geico claim, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place based on the incredible quality of the work performed. read more

Brought my car for a simple oil change, end up with side skirts cracked on both side. I don't think they know how to lift a low car. The novice mechanic even filled up my engine with 6 quarts of oil, when it only needed 5. His excuse is that because it's a v6 engine, it needs 6 quarts. Wtf?! Oil is leaking thru underpan now because of his 6 quart logic. read more

Everybody seems to be very nice at this establishment. Went there to repair my car through Geico. They explained everything and did a great job blending in paint with different panels. I also had out of insurance work done but I'm not 100% satisfied on the quality of work. Maybe they do a better job through insurance because Geico guarantee the body/paint work for the life time as long as you own the car. My suggestion, go there if you are claiming through Geico. They also have enterprise agent at the front desk so you can just get a rental after dropping off your car. read more

While I haven't had any work done to my car by New Win Auto Repair, the staff has been extremely helpful, professional, sophisticated and friendly in many ways during my couple of visits to meet a Geico adjuster at this location. A young team of representatives at New Win Auto Repair makes an ordinary task a pleasant one. The four goldfish in an aquarium in the waiting area kept communicating with me, adding a pleasantly surreal dimension to the Geico Auto Repair Xpress location. I had a feeling the fish were asking me to reread André Breton's book What Is Surrealism? On a more serious note, a very polite staff member pulled my car out valet style and courteously complimented the music that happened to be playing on the CD. I'm trying to remember what song it was.. perhaps it was "Here Without You" by 3 Doors Down. Perhaps it was a different song; I'll have to check it.
