I finally lost my trust in them, having been treated vary badly and unprofessionally. Next I took the car for maintenance to Great Bear, on Kissena Blvd. in my neighborhood. The car was stalling when accelerating to enter the highway, a very dangerous situation. I also needed a new AC compressor. They charged me an exorbitant amount, but the car kept stalling, and the new, very expensive AC compressor did a poor job from the start. Isaac took care of the stalling problem, made my AC work as it should, performed regular maintenance, all that for a fraction of the price I was used to pay. My wife I I were treated in a very friendly and respectful way. Isaac is a very busy man, so don't expect a speedy resolution to your car problems or needed service. But he'll do the right job for the right price, and treat you the way a customer should. I highly recommend Isaac. I'll be his loyal customer for as long as own a car.

These people tried to overcharge me then used duct tape to repair damage that they did to the car. They leave the car outside in an unsecured lot and my car was scratched while in their care. Fast forward to last week when my wife and I went back to Paragon Honda looking to buy a brand new Civic. We walked around the lot outside looking at the few Civics they had. There were salesmen outside but not one of them greeted us or asked us if we had any questions. We then went into the dealership, walked around looking at cars for a while. No one greeted us; no one asked if they could assist us. Now, I don't know if the salesmen wouldn't help us because we were two women looking at cars, or if it was because the salesmen there realized we were looking for a Civic, which is one of their less expensive models. Needless to say, we left after about a half hour of no one speaking with us. The funny thing is we were ready to purchase the car and they WOULD have had a sale and our business (the dealership is the closest one to where we reside). Instead, we found a MUCH BETTER Honda dealership in Long Island. It was more of a trip for us, but they were very kind there and that's why we are purchasing our car from them. Paragon Honda is filled with douchey-dudes. Do not buy cars there. The salesmen there think they are better than everyone else. I still wonder if they would have assisted us if I walked in with a husband instead of my wife. Oh well. Their loss.

If you go in and want a $500 paint job, it's going to look like it. Bottom line, you get what you pay for. I suggest you bring your car in and talk to Charlie - he's fair honest and does great work. Explain your expectations and he'll make suggestions. You'll still pay a fraction of a price from a private shop. The first time I had work done here was about 3 years ago. I took parts and bumpers to get painted. Charlie knew right away the polyurethane parts needed a flex coat etc etc and the Honda color match was spot on. (I had been to a reputable "body shop" in Garden City which failed to do this so the paint eventually spider cracked and chipped. Oh, and took 8 weeks to get my parts back.) This car is long gone, but looked like new for the remaining 2 years of abuse a college student could put it through. Just last week I brought my new car back after a slight scrape along the side of my vehicle. It was on the quarter panel so couldn't be replaced and needed to be heavily feathered. Charlie guaranteed he'd use genuine Lexus paint and I got it back in 2 days. The thing I like most about here is the great communication, fast service and quality work. Can't say enough good things. This review might bring in more business and next time I might have to wait more than 2 days, but I had to try and break the reputation. I'm not sure what the below review was about, but it seems one-sided and doesn't say the work done wasn't satisfactory!
