I started at Ray & Dana's Inman Auto Care. He offered a free estimate. He sent a very comprehensive list of things that needed to be done on my car. I was very impressed with the meticulous detail and the photographs to show why I they were suggesting the fix. This report made me feel that this was an honest shop. And made me feel confortable enough to trust. It turned out that all rotors needed to be changed. I paid a bit more than what the dealer quoted but got both front and rear brakes overhauled and new brake fluids and wheels rotated and balanced. But most of all I got a clear understanding of why it had to be done and the feeling that they were trustworthy. Their customer service was excellent! I live a mile away and needed to be home for telework so he had someone drive me home and then pick me up to get the car. That was awesome and I really appreciated it. Also I called several times with questions and concerns. They politely answered all my questions. I asked them to align the wheels. They checked the alignment and told me it was not necessary. This sealed the deal. I trust this shop and will have them work on my car again.

Nick left the car on the lift specifically so I could take a look under the car and he gladly popped the hood. He was very courteous and understanding. He disclosed anything and everything - I didn't have to question his honesty at all. He is very upfront. He allowed for me to take a test drive around the area and during the test drive he explained all of the details of the car - he also disclosed all of the improvements he had done to the car in the last month to get it ready to be sold. He provided a list as well and documentation as proof. I accepted the offer and Nick was patient enough to wait for me to go and grab a check from the bank. When I came back we had a brief talk about how to transfer the car, get a new registration and plates. This was the smoothest experience I have ever had when it comes to buying a car. Welp, all I can say is by the time I picked up my car and didn't even make it around the corner, the engine light was back on in ADDITION to my airbag light and no AC! I gave them another change to fix it. I left my car for another 2 days while they worked on it trying to get it together. When I called to see if it was ready (they didn't call me) I was basically told it was a big job to tear everything down and try to pin point the problem. I took my Mitsubishi Outlander there today to replace the rear sway bar bushings which were causing the car to make annoying noises when I drove over a bump. I had a pretty good idea the rear bushings were the problem but before accepting the job Chris inspected everything & made sure I wasn't wasting money replacing uneccessary parts. After confirming the bushings were in fact the problem Chris ordered the parts and did the job on the same day. I highly recommend this place and will only be letting Chris and his team work on my car in the future. The price for parts and labor was very fair and I couldn't be more satisfied with the quality of work they did with my car. They also went above and beyond to inspect the vehicle front to back and made sure there was no other issues with my car. They even checked & topped off the air pressure in my tires as well as the grease in throughout the suspension free of charge. If I could leave a 6 Star review I would. If you call first and make an appointment, he can service your car more quickly. Plus there is a Dunkin Donuts about 1/2 block from there if you have to wait for an oil change.
