We own an 2006 Audi A6 and the car has been having electrical issues lately. The tire pressure…read moremonitoring system went out a couple years ago, as did the rear motion sensors. This past winter the brake lights would go on by themselves when it got really cold, draining the battery. My old mechanic (a German car specialist in North Bergen) was expensive and could never solve the issues. I called ECP Auto Service and arranged to leave the car overnight. I dropped off the car around 4pm and the place was packed! Despite my car failing almost every diagnostic test, the car was ready around noon the next day. They replaced the brake light switch, reset the tire pressure monitoring system and fixed the rear motion sensors. Frank, the service manager, was very professional and knowledgeable, and drove the car around himself to make sure the car ran properly. Total bill: $126. Now I know why this place is packed. ECP just earned another lifetime customer. Thanks again!

ECP Auto Service is the most professional, reliable, honest and reasonable pricing for repair…read moreservices I have "EVER SEEN." The owner Frank is a very polite person, who always makes time to interact with customers. But he is also a very busy man. Working with his specialized mechanics team, in order for them to operate like a well oiled machine. He listens very carefully to each customer as they explain what mechanical problems they are having with their vehicles. Then I watched him several times in the couple of days while at his shop. Start visually investigating what the problem could be on whatever car came through the service station. Then if necessary he would perform a diagnostics test to locate the exact problem that needed to be fixed. I then watched him and his team of mechanics with a limited but reasonable amount of time, locate the exact problem and make the necessary repairs. I was amazed, because they knew exactly what they were doing and before you knew it the car had been repaired and on its way out of the shop. Every customer was happy and extremely satisfied with the professional work and reasonable price the paid. All his mechanics are every friendly as the video I have presented here will show as my car is on the lift being repaired. You will find "No" better car repair shop than ECP Auto Service. This i guarantee.

I took my Mitsubishi Outlander there today to replace the rear sway bar bushings which were causing the car to make annoying noises when I drove over a bump. I had a pretty good idea the rear bushings were the problem but before accepting the job Chris inspected everything & made sure I wasn't wasting money replacing uneccessary parts. After confirming the bushings were in fact the problem Chris ordered the parts and did the job on the same day. I highly recommend this place and will only be letting Chris and his team work on my car in the future. The price for parts and labor was very fair and I couldn't be more satisfied with the quality of work they did with my car. They also went above and beyond to inspect the vehicle front to back and made sure there was no other issues with my car. They even checked & topped off the air pressure in my tires as well as the grease in throughout the suspension free of charge. If I could leave a 6 Star review I would. Very professional, honest and friendly place, I highly recommend.

Jesse was familiar with the different problems that arise with the engine in my car, and told me what he thought the problem would be, and he scheduled me to come back today. I brought the car in at 8:00 this morning, he completed a smoke test and found that the valve cover needed to be replaced. He went over the car with a fine-tooth comb and gave me a list of everything that he looked at. He's incredibly honest, the last mechanic I went to told me that my battery was bad and needed to be replaced, and that's obviously not the case. The car was done at 3:00 this afternoon, the price was right, and all of the work was completely documented with the pictures and video. I really enjoyed speaking with him and I will definitely be back.

Predatory Pricing and Physical Threats by Owner (Jesse)…read more I brought my 2018 Audi A5 here after speaking with the owner, Jesse. I was originally quoted $770 for a transmission fluid and filter change. Upon arrival, Jesse changed the price to $904. After I declined, I was called back and quoted a "revised" price of $530 for just the pan and fluid. When I dropped the car off, I called back a few hours later for an update. Jesse said he was about to start but changed the price a fourth time to $650, then mentioned if I wanted the filter changed (which we had already discussed) it would be $750. When I questioned why the price had changed five times in one week, Jesse became extremely aggressive and began shouting. He refused to service the car and told me to pick it up in 30 minutes. As I was leaving, Jesse followed me to my vehicle, opened my car door while I was inside, and began yelling insults and making physical threats. Note: I took the car to the Audi dealership immediately after. They confirmed there was NO transmission leak and NO pan issue. The "leak" was actually a $20 fix (a missing oil cap from a previous service). Jesse attempted to charge me nearly $1,000 for a repair I did not need. Summary: Unreliable pricing, predatory diagnostics, and a total lack of professional safety. If you value your car or your safety, avoid this shop.
