I just started working in the area, so I ordered takeout with no expectations. Staff was super friendly when I picked up the order. I ordered the Vietshack Fried Noodles with Fried Chicken. So.....this dish was not what I was expecting at all. (this was due to my ignorance...not having asked any questions, looked at any photos, etc.) I was expecting a noodle dish with "chunks" of chicken, but what I received was a super healthy serving of noodles and a giant, bone-in chicken leg/thigh piece nestled on top. Thank goodness there was a knife to go along with my chopsticks, as I wasn't wanting to manhandle that giant piece of chicken by hand. Despite the great reviews, the food was disappointing. Egg rolls were very greasy. Despite specifically asking for very little hot spice my noodle dish was still spicy. Shrimp were fried with shells on which made for an unpleasant experience. Threw the bulk of the food out. Waste of money. read more

I ate here tonight with my dad! Soooo goooood!!!! We shared the spring rolls with shrimp and pork, the pork belly banh mi with a fried egg, and the pork vermicelli noodle bowl. Everything we ate was so fresh and delicious. Easily one of the best banh mis I've ever had!! Their bread is amazing, nice and lightly crisped on the outside but soft underneath. Just perfect. We love this place for quick Viet food. They don't have pho, which is my go to at the typical Vietnamese spot, but their spring rolls and vermicelli is great. I bookmarked this restaurant because of the high reviews and decided to come for lunch. I came at 12:30 and will probably never do that again because it was so busy and I didn't realize the restaurant was small (maybe 5-6 tables). I ordered the grilled pork vermicelli bowl and made it a combo with a Vietnamese coffee and egg roll. I got the order to go because there was nowhere to sit but a two seater table opened up so I grabbed it. It took 35 minutes to get my food and I decided to eat it there. The employees were really friendly and apologetic about the wait and the guy at the register was really courteous and I could hear him thanking people in line for their patience. My bowl was so yummy! The portion size was good, the egg rolls were crispy, hot and flavorful. They added pieces of mint to the dish which adds so much flavor and freshness. The grilled pork was good with generous portions and the fish sauce was well balanced. I was a bit thrown off by the coffee because it didn't taste like Vietnamese coffee I've had before. It was like a hazelnut mocha and super sweet. I'll pass on the coffee next time but I'm excited to go back and try the other dishes soon! Just not right in the middle of lunch rush hour. read more

I'm from California and have been spoiled with great Vietnamese sandwiches so was not expecting to be that impressed but boy was I wrong! This was hands down the best banh mi sandwich I've had. I ordered the grilled pork and my husband had the pork belly. The bread was slightly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside -- like it was just taken out of the oven. I personally love these kinds of bread; where it is not too hard and not too doughy. The ratio of bread to meat to vegetables was PERFECT. If you're looking for an out of this world banh mi, I can not recommend this business enough. And the staff is super nice! read more

They come in an order of 3 or 5. Yummy ...the only bad thing was the wrapper was a lIttle stiff, but that happens to me when I make them at home...so that I can let go. I also had the vermicelli bowl with pork. So good! I liked what I had so much I ordered the Pork Belly banh mi for dinner. I am sure it will tastte aS good as it smells .
