Went here just to get 2 nails fix around 450 on a Monday. The lady looked at me and said it would be an hour wait. This place was DEADDD. I believe she just did not want to fix my 2 nails and said an hour wait so I could leave. She had no client. Poor service and I definitely won't be returning. read more

I have been going to Vien Nails since February and the staff has been nothing but friendly to myself and my MIL. I typically get a dip powder manicure with Michael - he is very charismatic! I know that I can show him a photo of another manicure or tell him the color that I like and he always is able to elevate the design to the next level. Not coming back. The last few times I have been they have been lousy with scheduling. The final straw was When they asked me to come back in an hour and when I did they had me wait 15 minutes to get to a chair. After they seated me and my feet were already soaking they then said it would be another 20 minutes. Which ended up being closer to 30. It was a huge waste of time. The customer service here is great! They all know me here and are always able to create the exact nail designs I ask for. My nails last about three weeks and pedicures usually longer. It is definitely worth your money for the quality and service you receive. They play great movies here too! :) read more

The best pedicure, EVER! Every technician takes their time and does a lengthy massage as well. Pedicure is $20, they don't pressure you into other services, and they don't talk about you because they figure you can't understand. I was desperate. My nails were so grown out because I had been ill and hadn't been able to get in for a fill. I work until 5:30pm. I had social engagements that weekend. I googled and ended up here, knowing they probably wouldn't be able to fit me in at the last minute. They asked me to come back at 7pm. I did. They still weren't ready for me. But this was my last chance to get them done before next week. I wish I knew the name of the gentleman that did my fill. He was charming, patient and very funny. In fact, I noticed everyone, staff and customers alike, were chatting and laughing. How refreshing. The customer next to me said she had been coming there for years, and loved it there. I and another customer were there 45 minutes after closing, but staff stayed on and took their time to be sure we were happy. The icing on the cake? Not only did he just remove the loose acrylics and painted acrylic over the top of my real nails and made them look so much more natural than the thick acrylics, they charged me less than any other place I have ever been. Not all of the technicians are super talkative, but they're extremely polite and attentive, and they've always done a great job. The wait can be heavy in the afternoons, but they do a lot to make sure you're comfortable. They have loads of magazines and they play movies on multiple flat screen TVs. My sisters and I all really like this salon, and it's easily our go-to spot. Plus, the pricing is very reasonable and their gel nails last up to 5 weeks on me! read more

So I absolutely love the way everyone does my nails. If you are picky they are super nice about it. They will make sure your nails are perfect before you walk out the door. I prefer the loving couple. I try to request them with my appointments. If I cannot request them it doesn't bother me because everyone else is still good. They take their time. Do not rush. Went to this salon today, on a whim... The only good thing about this salon was that they were playing Twilight (the last one, that I haven't seen). I walked in was told they could take care if me immediately; I picked a color (selection isn't to big) & sat down.. 10 min later (twilight made it go by fast) someone came out & told me " she will be done eating soon" .. Umm okay, now I'm waiting for someone to have lunch when I was told I would be helped immediately.. Mind you there were other people whom worked there doing nothing. As I was about to complain a lady walked out & started helping me... Honestly this was the WORST manicure & pedicure I've EVER had in my life. And I get my nails done at random places at least 3x a month .. They barely cut my cuticles, basically leaving my dead cuticles! After explaining to the lady several times; even showing her by cutting them myself .. She could not do it. My nails are all oddly shaped & my toe nails were cut way too much. They were trying to be nice, but I feel they just couldn't comprehend or didn't want to do what I consider a "normal manicure". My nail polish looks as if I painted my nails in the car & I am just totally dissatisfied .. :((((( read more

I discovered Vien through friends. I have gotten pedicures from several of the staff, and they are always nice, polite, and professional. The pedicures include massage and hot stones and cost only $20. I usually call ahead for the same day and so far have not had a problem getting an appointment. A great find! read more

I came in for a pedicure because they were the only place open late. It seemed very unclean. My water was cold for my pedicure, they did horrible on my cuticles and i saw the lady put the tool back into her station instead of a sanitizing area, didn't clean under my nails and after my friend was done with her pedicure I saw her nail tech only clean the foot bath with a sponge and nothing else. I honestly don't know why I didn't leave. I'm giving this 1 more star only because my nail tech was very nice and talkative. read more

Less than a week ago I went in to get a full set of acrylics. I was super happy at first because no one ever listens and I was able to get the shape I wanted. They convinced me to get a gel overlay because it lasts longer. Now even two days later they started chipping (even the acrylic on the sides of the nail) and 4 days after I had one just break, I didn't slam it or anything, it just broke. The rest of them felt the same way, like they were going to break super easily. I wasn't able to come in right away but when I did, I didn't have time to get them all taken off and redone so I just had them remove them. I know that your nail bed is sore after getting them done but it was different, they all felt very fragile. I was offered no refund ($40 down the toilet.) and I was left with glue all over my fingers and scratches on my nails, with no offer to paint them or just a clear coat to make them look nice? I had to go to Sally's and buy repairing nail polish and a file to make them look decent. I will not be returning. read more

Now been coming here 3 years still my favorite nail salon in phoenix. I always find myself enjoying the movies they play on the flat screen while I get my nails done, sometimes even sit to finish when my nails are already done. Staff are all friendly & don't try to upset you. The color bar could be more modern but I always find something I haven't done before. Favorite tech is Michael. He's very precise and takes his time. His gel manicures last 1mo without chipping fading or cracking... I don't see going to any other salon. read more

Inconsistent with manicurists. There are a couple people there who do a good job and follow the rules but the last time I was there I feel like the lady wasn't following through like she was supposed to. Skipping steps to rush through. She drilled off the old color and took the rest off with a file. When she was ready to put the new color on she just brushed the old color and never had me wash my hands. I hope she followed cleaning protocol of the tools. So I will try it again but not with the same girl. read more

I moved to this side of town about 9 months ago and needed a new place for my pedicures. I walked into this place originally for convenience. It is in the same area as Target, AMC, Petsmart, Ross, Michaels, etc so I decided to just go in while I was out running errands. They were FABULOUS! The chairs were comfortable, the people were incredibly nice, and they did a fantastic job. What I liked most wast that they weren't overly talkative and they have a big TV mounted on the wall with a movie always playing so it is really nice to have that distraction. Plus, they have all the gossip magazines available within reach if you decided you needed to be entertained in a way other than watching the movie. I have now been there about 8 times. My pedi is only about $20 plus tip and it is awesome! I have had to wait several times if I get there later in the day (usually waiting is no more than 10-20 min but I did have to wait an hour and a half once...it was the day of the local high school homecoming dance so that isn't normal) but if I get there early enough they can get me right in without an appointment.
