The spa is located in a large building filled with small businesses, each occupying their own room--something I've noticed is quite common in Arizona these days. I arrived a bit early and waited for about 10 minutes until I met GeAnn. I had been sitting outside of unit 4, but she asked me to wait in a different area, which is when I realized she has two rooms. At first, my impression was that she wasn't particularly friendly--she didn't smile and seemed a bit cold. However, I have to say that her massage was excellent! She applied the perfect amount of pressure and worked through a lot of the tension and knots I had. By the end of the session, when I paid her, I finally saw a smile. She may not have been warm from the start, but as a masseur, she is absolutely skilled, and that's what really matters to me.

But then she brought on another massage therapist, Aaron. After Sawanna told me how great Aaron is, I knew I had to try him. He is AMAZING! Aaron used a variety of different approaches to get to my deep knots in my back: massage, cupping, and even an electric massager that looked like a drill and felt like heaven. I am an athlete and I work at my desk 8-10 hours a day, so I get some serious issues in my back. Aaron didn't miss a step jumping right in there. He pulled out the big guns (I mentioned the electric contraption, right?!) and left me feeling like I'd had a great workout: a little sore but mostly relaxed and ready for the next thing. Ladies, if you haven't had a male massage you, you need to try. Aaron was extremely professional and, given that he's male, very strong. I went here a few months back, every two weeks. There were a few times (before she changed her…read morecancellation policy) that I had to reschedule an appointment I had the following day, I would reschedule it anywhere from 72 hours before to 12 hours before my scheduled massage. She amended the policy saying you had to give 24 hours advance notice (understandably) & a month or so after the policy was changed I had a family emergency & couldn't make it. My daughter had a big seizure & we had to go to the hospital. I texted her as soon as I knew. Mind you, I hadn't had an issue since she updated her policy. The next week I tried to reschedule & it said I had to reach out, so I did. We talked on the phone & she mentioned the times I had to reschedule the times before she made changes to her cancellation policy. I countered with once she changed it there hasn't been a problem until I had an emergency. She proceeded to tell me I need to have child care lined up, moms deserve their time too, her mom had a special needs dependent, I could t use my daughter as an excuse.. just so far out of line. She said I could only come in if someone else cancelled last minute & I could fill in their spot. It isn't possible with 4 kids, I can't drop what I'm doing to go to someone's cancelled appointment.. I wish. The whole convo was wild & out there. I gave a two star instead of one because she is a good at massages.. it actually took me a few months to even speak on this, I was really just trying to reflect before I left a poor review.. Since I can't directly reply, I'll have to update to say you did in fact say something about my children as an excuse & I never did a same morning cancellation, it's not even possible to do on the app. The one time I had no choice I had to call/text you to cancel. It was my first massage in over a year due to COVID and I had a lot of tightness and built up tension. I have to say that Nicole gave me one of the best massages I have had in a long while.
