I was taken away by the glass art !! thankfully I was sat right in front of it and being honest the Art was the only reason I picked this restaurant but was amaze on how Amazing the food was. We spent around $140 before tip for 2. Keep in mind this is not a typical Mediterranean restaurant came in asking for rice LOL they don't serve rice. The whole restaurant has an uplifting vibe. The guy who served us was very polite and attentive. We'll be back!

My GF and I came for their Fire and Fermentation wine dinner and WOW! Shoutout to our server Mike (incredible service) and to the manager Meridith who made sure we were good and last but not least it least to Chef Roberto who created and executed a PERFECT meal and experience for an unreasonably low price ($100/pp + tax and 20% service charge) The dining room really creates an atmosphere that sets the stage for the meal. You've kind of got to see it at least once. I attached the menu and honestly each course was better than the last. So much creativity and skill. We will be back soon to try the main menu and plan to leave full

Stopped in today for a drink and appetizer. Hunter was our bartender and he was so friendly and personable. Great knowledge of the menu and gave great recommendations. Highly recommend their brunch here. Our favorite seating is in the lounge area. Great lighting and decor.

When visiting Raleigh, we had a delicious dinner with excellent drinks. The decor is absolutely lovely and I felt momentarily transported to a Mediterranean location somewhere. We all tried something different -I had the burrata flight and a beet salad. The burrata flight would have been better shared, but I enjoyed it! My friends both had pasta and we enjoyed some fresh bread with the meal. The service was outstanding. The prices are very reasonable and I would recommend sharing a few dishes with friends.

I visited for my birthday this month and had an amazing experience. I came later in the evening when it was just a few people just how I like it. The restaurant is simply stunning and great for photos. The Food: We started with the Warm Goat cheese and the flavor was by far the best I've had. Next, we shared the meatballs and Patatas Bravas, and finished it with the Mixed Grill. Everything was so delicious, our service was top-tier, and stomachs surely full. Can't wait to return!

The server Imani was beyond great. She made excellent recommendations. She even explained the reason behind the decor of the restaurant. The food. My goodness. Definitely the best brunch I've had in a while and I cannot wait to go back. My sister had the pistachio French toast. I tasted it, and it was amazing. My chicken sandwich was so good and flavorful. The potatoes and the side of grits. My goodness. And the hummus. Oh and the twist on mimosas, Perfect touch. Please go. This is something new and the chef did not disappoint.

We came for Vidrio's NYE dinner and party event. While the food was good, the execution of this event could use improvement. From waiting 15+ minutes to be sat when we had a reservation, to waiting 30+ minutes for our first course (and all other courses), barely being visited by the servers, and then the staff not having a single clue about what was listed in the offering (re: wine pairing/cocktail pairing), this event missed the mark for me. What I did love was the food, the fact that we were able to sit at our table the whole night, and the upstairs bar. In the future, I hope management will have more staff not just for servers but also for the chefs for an event like this. There were snacks at the end that would have been better served at the beginning when we were waiting 30+ minutes for our food. It honestly would have probably changed my opinion of the event. Overall, we enjoyed the food and the time we got to spend with our friends. I would definitely recommend Vidrio but maybe not for an event like this.

Great menu, particularly the mezzo and salads. You can certainly make a nice meal ordering tapas styles from those. We also had hanger steak with mushrooms which was cooked perfectly and delicious. The dining room decor is very cool. The service was attentive and knew the menu well.

This baklava French toast! Chefs kiss, so so delicious and unique. I love that they are now offering brunch, our waitress was good, vibes are artsy and fun. Amazing they offer high chairs for young guests as well :)

Came in for desserts one evening because we enjoy the ambience. Desserts were Ok. We love Vidrio as our prior visits for dinner were a smashing success. Desserts.....Maybe just not what we expected? Lemon Cake with gelato...the gelato was the star of the show. Cake kind of lacked flavor and was a bit dry. Chocolate cake was good. Service was 1000% on the mark (sat in the bar area). We love Vidrio...

We came here at the recommendation of our friends and were so pleasantly surprised. You'd never know about this place on Glenwood as it's not advertised in your face. When you enter this place, it feels as if you're walking into a resort.. or a foreign country. (Not everyone will feel this way, but it reminds of a really posh oversea restaurant from my past). The hostess walks you toward the seating area and immediately you are greeted by the wall of plate bowls... which is absolutely beautiful. The ambiance is stunning and such a warm place to take your guests. Food was top notch and everything was so well done. Will return.

We have been multiple times for events or just a meal out. Both the food and service are wonderful, with thoughtful suggestions. Drinks are imaginative as well. The main dining area can be lively (ie, loud) so maybe not the best spot for a deep conversation. the decor and layout are both gorgeous, & the bar area can be one open air when the weather is right. We recently got to try the new brunch menu & really enjoyed that as well. This is a gem!

What a time was had! Great customer service, wait staff, and overall experience. From the time we checked in for our reservation until we left - nothing was short of amazing. The ambiance upon walking in is incredible. Inviting decor, dramatic lighting, beautiful wall art. I could go on - but this is truly a space to explore and experience in person - photos don't do it justice. Now, the most important part the food. We were there for a birthday celebration - so our party's order was large: Drinks: Saint 75 Chef's Daily Special A few margaritas Small Plates: Dressed Oysters Artisan bread Cheese Croquette Moroccan Beef Skewers Hummus Charred Octopus Patatas Bravas Large Plates: Beef Short Ribs Hanger Steak Grilled Lamb Brown Butter Half Chicken EVERYTHING was super fresh and good! The only "con" it did take awhile to receive food. For context - we checked in at 7:30 and left at 10:00. Again it was alot of food - but we did feel like the food could have moved a little bit faster. The birthday girl did receive a birthday slice of cake with ice cream - so simple yet beautiful. One thing to note: gratuity of 20% was automatically applied to our tab for a group of 5. If you aren't aware you might believe your bill was incorrect.

I want to take some friends to this restaurant, mostly couples, and it will be about 22 of us. Would we be safe being able to get seated together if we arrive at open or is it smarter to make a reservation...or is it safer to just book a room/event?

For this time of year and the number of people I would make a reservation.

Attire says casual but it looks so upscale! Ladies, Friday night are we talking jeans, heels and a cute blouse or fancier? Less fancy? Thanks!

You will see a wide variety, but casual is fine. Guys do not need a jacket, but you don't feel overdressed if you wear one. I saw plenty of people in jeans, most of our crowd was very casual.

Although the space is tiny, the desserts and cocktails more than make up for the line out front, and the noisy nature of downtown locations! There were 4 of us and we enjoyed the strawberry pretzel pie, derby pie, ice cream, coffee, and old fashioned. First of all, AMAZING cocktails- and an epic list of whiskeys, bourbons, and scotches. They've also got some custom beverages that you cannot find else. Super thumbs up for originality of cocktails, creative menu presentation, and speed of service! The derby pie was good- but I like mine with a denser filling. My friend enjoyed her strawberry pretzel pie, and the fact that not many places offer this on their menu. But, she said it was not as good as homemade. The gents in our party RAVED about how great Bittersweet's old fashioned drinks were! They said that these were definitely in the top three beverages they had ever had! This hole in the wall had a bridal party, some goth appearing folks, and suits too. In short, no matter what you like to drink, what you enjoy eating for dessert, you will find it here!

This place was absolutely amazing. All I can say is, we made a lot of happy noises while eating,…read moreand there were plenty of "oh my God" moments at the table. From the staff to the manager to the food, everything was on point. The food truly speaks for itself. They serve small plates, which we love because it gives you the chance to try different things and experience a variety of flavors. We started with the fried pork belly on tostones. It was perfectly seasoned, topped with avocado, and every bite just melted in your mouth. Next, we had the tamarind sticky ribs with a tamarind mango barbecue sauce. This was a perfect example of how simplicity can create complex flavors. The ribs were cooked just right -- not completely falling off the bone, but tender enough that when you bit into them, the meat pulled apart so easily. They were juicy, full of flavor, and had just the right touch of spice from the chili flakes. Then we moved on to the mini arepas, and oh my God. They had slow-cooked pork, guava barbecue sauce, and fried papas on top. The arepa itself was crispy on the outside, warm and fluffy on the inside. The savory pork paired with the sweetness of the guava barbecue sauce was incredible, and the crunch from the fried papas took it to another level. Now, I have a bit of a sweet tooth, but my wife does not. I wanted dessert, and we were leaning toward the tres leches, but our waitress highly recommended the bread pudding. I am not usually a fan of bread pudding at all, but her recommendations had been on point all night, so I decided to trust her. I am so glad we did. They take a Mexican bolillo, soak it overnight in tres leches, then pan-sear it to create this crispy caramelized outside while keeping the inside warm, soft, and sweet. It is topped with crema and toasted coconut, then they pour warm guava syrup over it and serve it with a scoop of coconut sorbet. The layers of flavor in that dessert were unreal. Honestly, it may have been the best dessert we have ever had. And remember, my wife is not big on sweets -- she usually only takes one bite of dessert, but this time she tried to eat over half of it. Lol. I highly recommend this place. The food, the service, the drinks, and the atmosphere were all amazing. And after dinner, you can even head upstairs to work off the food with salsa lessons and a dance club. This is definitely a spot worth checking out! Me alegra muchísimo haberlo hecho. Jajaja.

Seriously, if you can't find a pour you like here, you may just need water instead. Sweet, salty, buttery chaos in the best way. For the main, I went with the pork chop and greens. The chop leaned a little overcooked for me personally, but the sauce helped bring things back together and added good flavor. The greens had a nice little kick of heat, but I kept waiting for that deep smoky ham hock flavor to show up like an old Southern grandma entering the kitchen... and it never quite arrived. Overall though? Still a solid meal, strong whiskey program, cool atmosphere, and definitely worth checking out if you're in Raleigh looking for a bourbon-forward dinner spot. Travelin_Broke approved with a slight side-eye from the greens.

The rice is black and inky and potent and extraordinary, but it overwhelmed the fish completely. Still greatful I got to experience it, but I would pair it with something more gamy like lamb or goat. The Pecan pie with warm salted caramel ice cream was nothing short of a spiritual experience, and Hayley's recommendation to pair it with Rum Flip was perfect. Yes, I Ubered.
