I've been here three times now, each time with a different group that wanted to check it out. Overall, it's been fine, but nothing has really wowed me. For a restaurant in such a beautiful and upscale hotel, I expected more. The drinks are good, the food is just average, and nothing really stands out or leaves a lasting impression. The one thing that's been consistently great is the service, it has always been excellent. Unfortunately, the food is pretty mediocre.

Dinner. Peter was our waiter. Calamari was good Smokey old fashions good Cheese steak and fries good. Brussels sprouts good. The fish and chips.... looked good, had -0- taste, asked for vinegar add some taste but still not anything, the cole slaw was bland as all... would never order it again. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Located near the South Entrance, the restaurant is decorated in a beautiful blue and gold decor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It was nice to try what was recommended on the Restaurant Week menu with a portion of the proceeds supporting the local Three Square Food Bank. The Vida Continental was a nice mini sampler to start the meal. Two poached eggs on top of the Avocado Toast made the entree quite filling. The Chicken & Waffles wasn't too spicy hot, which is good for me. Travis and the wait staff always made sure I had enough coffee.

Came in for breakfast when staying at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Vida has a bright, upscale atmosphere and a spacious dining area that still feels relaxed and comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was great throughout. We didn't have reservations and were seated within 5 min. - Brown Sugar Swirl Banana Pancakes 5/5: Super fluffy, indulgent, so delicious - Roasted Pork Chilaquiles 4.5/5: Flavorful, savory, and really satisfying overall

I have not been to the Fontainebleau since it opened a year and a half ago. Deciding it was time to make a visit and see the hotel/casino, I looked at their website to pick a restaurant for breakfast. There were a couple of options. I chose Vida. I came down the elevator from the garage and it was only a few steps to Vida. It's in the South Lobby area. I lined up behind a couple for a table. One of the people at the desk asked if I wanted to sit at the bar. That was fine for me, and I went in and sat down. The bartender/server working the bar came and gave me a menu. He also asked if I wanted coffee and orange juice. Yes to both. I was poured a cup of hot coffee which helped wake me up a bit. I opted for the smoked ham and cheddar omelette which the menu describes as Vermont white cheddar, hashbrown, choice of toast. I ordered rye toast. Taking the time while waiting for breakfast, I took in the surroundings. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is very nice even elegant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It wasn't very busy, but the bar was a popular place as several more people came in a short time while i was there. Breakfast arrived and my coffee was refilled again. I had been sipping the orange juice during this time, also. The omelette was good tasting. The small squares of ham added to the overall flavor quite a bit. There was a round of hash browns and the plate had two small containers--one with butter and the other ketchup. The breakfast was quite pleasant and I enjoyed my visit to Vida. Prices are Strip++.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Located on the first floor at the Fontainebleau is Vida -- casual eatery with beautiful decor, where they offer breakfast and brunch items.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was slow both mornings; however, our servers were kind and friendly. The food was good. I enjoyed a Smoked Ham and Cheese Omelette, as well as a Blueberry Lemon Croissant. The Cappuccino was good. If you have some time to spare, this is a nice spot to enjoy a morning breakfast. But if you're in a rush, I'd ask for the check as soon as they bring your items or eat elsewhere. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Really beautiful atmosphere to start your day![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

If looking for a good sit-down breakfast in the FontaineBleau, Vida has you covered. [[HIGHLIGHT]]A couple things I would note, if you're by yourself, you will be asked to sit at the bar. I don't necessarily have an issie with that, but if the bar is busy, I don't think it would be the worst thing to give a two-top to one person.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It also is definitely Vegas hotel pricing. All that aside, I had a really nice breakfast of the greek omelet. The service was good, although I did feel bad for the bartender, since he had a packed bar and was by himself.

I'd give this place 3 stars. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is nice, but the food is pretty average, honestly something I could make at home.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I came here with my wife and kids. We ordered two breakfast dishes and an avocado toast. The service was okay, nothing special. The staff were friendly, but that's about it, and the wait time for the food was a bit long. One thing that surprised me was that my breakfast didn't come with bread, which felt a bit odd since you have to order it separately. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but that's pretty normal for Vegas.

One of the restaurants in the Fountainebleau in Vegas. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The breakfast here is pretty good and the vibe is posh and upscale.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I got a Bloody Mary and it was made well. For food, I got the Steak and Eggs and it was cooked to my liking. The chimichurri sauce was a bit too heavy on the oil and needed more vinegar and herbs. The service was really helpful though and attentive. Overall, a good spot if you're staying at this hotel.

After several more visits, I have to bump this up! Vida seems to have elevated from the horrible hostess situation - what a joy! The food has been consistent my last few visits, and service (mainly at the bar since I'm usually solo) is stellar!! Looking forward to more visits!!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]If you're looking for a classic, high-energy Vegas breakfast that hits the spot without the stuffiness of fine dining, Vida at Fontainebleau is your go-to.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the "All in Breakfast" You get the best of both worlds-eggs your way, crispy hashbrowns, your choice of breakfast meat (the applewood-smoked bacon is a winner), and a side of their famous fluffy Buttermilk Pancakes. James our server was excellent! And provided great recommendations.

This cafe is very good, but I liked the Omelet the day before at La Fontaine upstairs a little better. Service was great in both places and in both places we sat the at bar. The bar here has TV's if you want to watch the game like we did. Prices about the same: Omelet: $30 Fresh Squeezed OJ: $12 One Waffle: $20 Oatmeal: $20

    Pork chilaquiles
    Lily H.

Stopped by Vida at for breakfast and had a great experience overall. The Pork Chilaquiles were the star of the show--the pork was incredibly flavorful and tender (not dry at all!), with a perfect spicy kick. We also tried the Steak and Eggs; while the steak was slightly overdone for my liking, the eggs and hash browns were cooked to perfection. Chimichurri was a nice addition for some more flavor. What really stood out was the service. The staff was super attentive and kept our coffees refilled at just the right time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Definitely a solid, high-energy spot to fuel up at the Fontainebleau.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The reputation of Bobby Flay goes without saying and had to try the famous Bobby's Spice Crusted Bone-in Ribeye steak. The steak was cooked to perfection - but seemed to be missing the spice and seasoning. For the price and Bobby Flay reputation, I had high expectations - so being disappointed is an understatement. I should have went with the skirt steak at more than half the price. The specialty steaks (entree) come solo so any side dishes are added separately (fyi). I tried a variety of the appetizers and side dishes - thick honey cut bacon, hot homemade potato chips, broccolini, potato puree and macaroni goat cheese gratin. Such a thoughtful gesture that completely caught me by surprise. It's rare to find someone who genuinely goes above and beyond like that. Our server, Adam, was an equally amazing dreamboat. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely hospitable from start to finish. To top it all off, after we had already left, Adam literally sprinted after us to make sure we got back my best friends credit card that she had left in the check presenter, before we even noticed it was missing. I want to shout out our very attentive server, Patrick. He made our dinner feel so much more informed and intimate. I was unable to take a picture of the set menu and the restaurant changed the menu the next day... so the names of the dishes are from memory. The food was exquisite. Every single dish was perfectly thought out and complimented each other so well. The entire set menu emulated spring with bright, green ingredients. Foie Gras with wine reduction and parmesan cheese foam (5/5): Beautiful introduction. The foie gras was so creamy and delicious. It was almost custard-like with how soft it was. It was fatty, savoury, and a great way to introduce the rest of the set menu. Salad (4.5/5): I loved this! The flavours were so bright and the veggies were so naturally crispy. The chef did a really good job in bringing out the natural acidity of the vegetables. Really was able to indulge in these flavours after the fatty foie gras. Scallop carpaccio topped with caviar and a side of beets (5/5): I would never think to put beets with scallops? This was so good. The umami of the caviar paired with the acidity of the sauce really hit heights. The texture of the carpaccio was perfect as well, almost a melt in your mouth experience. Pea (?) soup with lobster puree (5/5): Not gonna lie, best pea soup I ever had. I didn't even know you could elevate pea soup in this way. The lobster... essence? Puree? Beautiful addition to the soup. 10/10 would have it again. And I don't enjoy peas. Crispy tartine topped with a quail egg, morel mushrooms, asparagus, and parmesan cheese (5/5): Tartine was perfectly flaky, buttery, and crispy. All of the toppings were excellent as well. When everything was eaten together, all the flavours were so GOOD. Savoury, buttery, umami goodness!! Korean fish on couscous with tomato consume (4/5): Perfectly balanced dish. The fish was well cooked. Very soft and tender. Steak tartare with frites and bread (5/5): SO WELL SEASONED. Usually with steak tartare at other places, I have issues with it being too acidic or overly seasoned. But this was perfection with the fries. NY strip with porcini (?) mushrooms and mashed potatoes (5/5): Very well seared, perfectly cooked and a soft tender experience. The sauce on the side worked so well with the meat. A5 Wagyu with porcini (?) mushrooms and mashed potatoes (5/5): A REAL melt in your mouth experience. I did not have to chew it practically melted in my mouth and was so so SO worth the additional price tag. Yuzu ice dessert with popping candy(?): I'm unsure if they used actual popping candy but whatever they did worked so good with the dessert! It was such a lovely addition to the set menu. Really brought back childhood memories! Yuzu ice cream with pandan sponge cake and (?) wafers sprinkled with assorted nuts and gelee (5/5): I thought this dish had the prettiest presentation. The dessert was also very well thought out and was super creamy and refreshing!

The place was not busy and the bar was at least half empty. Had a show in 30 mins so was in bit of a rush and wanted a fast foie gras slider. There were about 15 people working and walking around behind the bar and the servers tending to people around us. Staring at everyone and waiting forever, I had to wave someone down to just be seen to get someone to take my order of what I already wanted. Told him my concern and tried to place an order with him but then he said he will let my server know... He went M.I.A for a good 3 minutes. No communication if my order went through or not. This was giving me Huge Anxiety and cannot remember how terrible lacking of service I have had in a long time!!! Then Johnathan, the manager, with the wild peacock hair came over and again, I had to repeat the bad service and now 10 minutes have passed by with not knowing where the guy that was going to tell my server went, leaving me with 20mins left to spare. He said he'll put that in for me and it seemed to have been rushed a lil to accomodate the lack of service. Guessing who was supposed to be our server came way later, after this whole fiasco. This could have gone way smoother if we had a server ready to go in front of us instead of being in the back for a long time with no one to jump in quickly as soon as we sat down Got the lil sliders quick but the fries were soggy and the foie gras was cold. Asked if the foie was supposed to be cold and the server said it should be warm since it's seared, it was completely cold. I touched all four sides and it was cold AF! Manager came over again and again I said the same thing. He said that don't I have a show to get to and that they're not a "fast food" restaurant. That is laughable because yeah it's not because anyone would get better service at a fast food chain than there! I said the beef patty was hot and well cooked but somehow the foie that needed less cooking time than the beef was somehow cold. And if you want to talk about fast... Doesn't seared mean a high-heat cooking technique used to quickly brown the surface of food?! Few seconds on each side and the foie should have been warmed up easily! He just got quiet and said he will take it off the bill. If you are not a fast food restaurant then don't try to play off cooking fast food items if you can't even do that properly! I asked where the wine I had was from and he said the Somm would know, I'm sure he would but I was asking him. He did ask the Somm and told me where it was from since I wasn't going to get a chance to speak with him anyways, he wasn't going to stop by The place looked the same as it has years ago - dark, lame and dingy. They need a revamp of the interior as well as their attitudes and their poor service. Seems like this place has gone way downhill

What it lacks in visibility, it makes up for in quality pastries that few places in Vegas have been able to match. There is no seating, so this is strictly a takeout situation. The display case is usually stock full of goodies in pastry form, but the two standouts here is the kouign amann and their enormous French macaron. The latter makes it look more like a cookie, but it is as delicate and delicious as any should be. Their kouign amann is their unofficial star of the show since it's sensational. That caramelized laminated dough is so difficult to pull off, but it's done beautifully here. Additionally their chocolate chip cookies are strangely addicting. The butter that is used to bake them is obvious with each bite and the cream cheese danishes are like cupcakes with a harder texture. Finish it off with a coffee from Equator Coffee and try to avoid the morning crowds. Lastly, a big shout out to their service for being friendly and personable. Like the rest of the Venetian, nothing here is much of a deal but it is most certainly quality. ________ (#1) https://www.yelp.com/biz/bouchon-las-vegas-3
