Huckleberry shake with actual Huckleberry pieces! So good!
Megan T.

We stopped by Victor Emporium after reading reviews on a forum of where to get huckleberry shakes when visiting the Tetons areas. Since we were going to be driving through this area, we decided to make a stop. It was a weekday afternoon, so it was not very busy. We got the huckleberry shake and enjoyed it thoroughly! I'm glad that the shake had actual pieces of the huckleberries rather than just flavoring. Definitely recommend if you are in the area!

We were told by our local friends that we could get the BEST huckleberry milkshake at Victor Emporium, so of course Nate and I had to check it out after an early dinner in the area. Huckleberries grow wild in mountainous areas, and you can find a huckleberry flavored something at most restaurants and gift shops in Idaho and Wyoming. Since we don't have them where we live, it's always fun to enjoy them while in this area visiting. The shop itself is chock full of gifts, souvenirs, and other fun stuff to look at while your order is made. Once you get your treat, you pay for it at the counter a few steps down in the main shop area. There are a couple tables outside and a bench so you can enjoy your milkshake or sundae on site. At $10, it wasn't cheap, but the milkshake was really tasty. I'm glad we got to try it. I'm seeing now that you can also get a huckleberry Oreo shake, which I would love to try sometime. Victor Emporium is a nice little spot to browse and get dessert while in the area.

This is a destination place in a small town. The angle parking on the street is unique as you are required to back in. It's opposite of what people are used to, but I love the idea. If you have a hard time backing then park on the side street and walk!

Wonderful store with all kinds of souvenirs and a friendly, helpful staff. They are known for their huckleberry milkshakes, so we drove an hour to try them...we were not disappointed!! I got the huckleberry and my husband got the huckleberry mixed with Oreos - SO good and well worth the beautiful drive!!

A great gift shop and masterful milkshakery in Victor, ID. This town has a something special in this shop which host a fun array of thoughtful and prank gifts and souvenirs and is best-know as the home of the Huckleberry Shake! We enjoyed a shake on more than one occasion during our week-long stay in Victor. This was the first time - in a long time - that I found myself thinking a shop could have cut back on their toppings/mixing a bit but was so pleased to really get a good and thorough taste of those special Huckleberries. For us, the Oreo Huckleberry shake was just right as it balanced out some of the tartness of the huckleberries a bit! Visiting this shop three times in one week is certainly a seal of approval from us!

While visiting Idaho for my first time I tried the one ice cream shop in the little town I stayed. It was awesome! We originally went for ice cream but everyone recommended the shakes so I tried their brown trout which was peanut butter, Nutella and Oreo. It was great! I may try the huckleberry if I went again.

The huckleberry shake is fantastic. There are chunks of real fruit. It was the best huckleberry shake I had on my vacation.

Jackson Hole Sports helped make my most recent ski vacation to Wyoming a memorable one. I'm…read morerelatively new to the sport but knew from a past trip that rentals were not the way to go if I wanted to enjoy my week of skiing. The team here was able to squeeze me in last minute for a bootfitting (I had an appointment earlier at another store in Teton Village who told me they didn't have the brands that would fit my feet). And after about 1 hour of heating the boot and molding it to accommodate my navicular, Will had set me up with an awesome pair of Salomon BOA ski boots that are arguably the best-fitting shoes I own. What a delight these boots were on the slopes last week: Zero foot pain. Will even made great sock recommendations that ensured dryness and comfort. I couldn't be happier with my new ski boots, and it was all thanks to Will. Next, I needed new ski goggles, and Ali at the front was incredibly helpful and knowledgable. She recognized that a low bridge fit might be more suitable for my face. Ali definitely came through, and these made a huge difference last week with the snow storms, as the ability to easily swap out lenses magnetically on my Smith goggles ensured the best visibility. I was so impressed with the team here at JHS and made a few more trips back to the shop throughout my week in Jackson Hole. Everyone there was incredibly professional providing great service, and the store stocks the best brands and the quality of their goods was world-class.

However, today…read moreat about 5:20 5:15 was the first time I'd ever been treated like s*** at Cal ranch in Rexburg. The girl they have billing people out. Shouldn't be doing anything when it comes to customers. She didn't count my change back. She just handed it to me. Didn't say thank you didn't say nothing. So I said thank you and she's like yeah sure. What's the deal with that? The last time I checked we pay her wages by doing business there and if she don't like dealing with customers then she should probably find a different job. I make random trips to Salmon every month and so I think I'll just start doing my shopping at Murdoch's they are always kind and say thank you for coming in ask how your day is going ask if you need any help with anything else and they actually count your change back to you correctly instead of just handing it to you and letting you do your own counting.
