Came here for a very specific item that I saw on clearance on the website. I drove to this location…read morebecause it said the item was still in stock here. I wanted to see it physically before purchasing so instead of making the order online, I drove here to check it out first. This is a nice store. It'sneat and well organized and there are a lot of employees working. I spoke with four different employees but unfortunately they were unable to find the item even though I showed them that it was listed as in stock in the store. They explained that sometimes the inventories are not correct and did seem to make a good effort to locate the item for me. I'm disappointed that I couldn't find the item that I wanted, but this store is nice and I would definitely come back here. The employees are some of the most friendly and helpful I've encountered recently.

I purchased a camp chef table and when I finally got to go camping to use it there were no legs and no windscreen. This was a birthday present I never got to use until last weekend so it was never opened. My fault. However, I'm told that there is nothing they can do. It's been more than 30 days. No swapping it out. No replacing of the missing legs and windscreen, nothing. I essentially paid full price and got 1/3 the item. Totally useless! I WILL NEVER SHOP AT A SPORTSMAN'S WAREHOUSE AGAIN. I will also add that this is not the first issue I have had with ordering something online and not getting what I paid for with them. NEVER AGAIN!

Though we have a pretty solid collection of gear we have accumulated over the years, we will get a few small items when we visit, as we always seem to find some cool pieces, including my favorite fleece coal baseball cap! The team is always friendly and offers assistance and greeting upon entering. Will continue to enjoy out periodic visits!

I'm sorry that Rip T. had a bad experience, but let me assure you that it must've been a rarity. Every time I set foot in Cabela's, I'm met with professionalism, and great customer service. They've got EVERYTHING you could possibly want, need, or dream of to make your outdoor adventure complete - whether you're going hunting, camping, hiking, fishing, bird watching, kayaking...you name it! They've also got licensing for fishing/hunting and concealed carry classes. I've purchased several items from Cabela's, including some clothing items, holsters for concealed carry, ammunition, and a 9mm semi-automatic pistol. BTW - their firearms selection is GREAT and so is the knowledge & expertise of their firearm sales staff. They've got a couple of rewards program options as well - free membership card with reward points & a rewards Visa. I keep forgetting my membership card at home, so I can't speak with much of a perspective on how the whole reward system works just yet. Don't let the one bad review keep you away. Luckily, for me, I didn't have to shop any more after this because JD High Country Outfitters had a large selection of women's shoes and I found two pairs I actually liked a lot. I thought the pricing was fair for the area and the high end nature of the shoes. I bought a pair of Sorrel waterproof sneakers for $120. They were marked up about $35 more than Sorrel's website which is about normal for retailers like this. The only real problem I had was with the service here. I tried my best to not get mad but I was fuming by the end of this experience. I'll try to give them some grace and say that maybe I wasn't forward enough in pushing other people out of the way to get them to bring me shoes from downstairs but a place with great customer service wouldn't need that. I also can say well, they were young men, who didn't seem to care about their jobs but again, why work here if you don't want to help people.

I really saved a lot of money keeping it simple because I only came here to camp,fish and hike anyway. But when I saw JD high country outfitters, I had to walk in because I love stores that cater to the hiking, fishing, camping outdoors supplies. As soon as I walked in the young man behind the counter was very smart. He said hey we're having a half off sale on socks. And I was looking for sox specifically. I passed so many stores in Jackson that had little cheap souvenir socks all charging around the same price $12-$14 and the really good socks were more but not that special and all the same . When I walked in here, they had the wonderful brand that I bought before which is a good hiking brand, thick well-made socks made in the USA thank goodness and they were HALF PRICE!!! I proceeded to buy eight pairs of socks. It was totally worth it. I couldn't believe I was so lucky to find them. I will be stocked up forever with good quality socks. In the winter, I wear pure wool socks that I knit myself but the rest of the year and for hiking, I use good well-made quality hiking socks, which they had. I also want to mention that the store was stocked. It was in excellent condition and they had high end items, beautiful items that I buy here and there as I can afford them, but so worth it. Upstairs, they had a whole gun store with ammunition, binoculars, knives and fishing rods, and all sorts of fishing and hunting supply. Downstairs they had your typical camp and hike items. They even had a rack of Patagonia jackets on sale which I could not believe. I just knew I could not buy more stuff right now. And I had two jackets But they had $200 Patagonia jackets marked off 30% to 70%. I also want to give out a shout to the really nice lady that was working in the shoe department who had I believe short strawberry blonde hair she was so nice and she helped me with the socks while she was helping people with shoes and sandals. She is a benefit to have you always want great employees like that and I want to just say that her and the guy behind the counter in the front were really great. I think the guy behind the counter in the front was brunette and very helpful. Lastly, I love the large paper bag that they gave me with their insignia on it. It's so well-made. I am now using it to store my early winter kitling next to my fireplace here in Oregon. Thanks for being such a great store. I really enjoyed my visit there.

We had two guides on a four day fishing tour and each day was a different experience. We were pairs with a new guide every day and they all really knew their stuff. The area, weather wise made each day different but each guide made the best of it. I would say, overall the pro shop was well kept and clean and full of different items for purchase but getting down to the nitty gritty for fishing, exploring the areas best spots and each guide knowing their way around the area and really giving us the gold standard for treatment, I really felt it was a place I would want to return time and time again. Even if you just want to get a1-2 or4-5 day trip in, you can't beat Henry's Fork Anglers guided tour.

Even with wild winds, we were able to get close to big fish and see a lot of action because our guide knew what he was doing. The first question he asked us was how long we had been fly fishing and what we wanted to do. Then he delivered. He was very enthusiastic and knew how to fish in the conditions that we were dealt. I have been fly fishing for 20 years. With what I learned from Pierce, the next day on the ranch I was able to get seven (7) large fish in one hour. That is the best I have ever done on Herriman Ranch. Next year when we come back, I will ask for Pierce. The attached photo is one that I took of my fishing partner and Pierce. I was in the high 40s with wild winds when we caught that trout.

The young fellow behind the counter was the least helpful soul I have ever encountered in a fly shop after several decades fishing. I mean that's why you go to a fly shop right? Get advice and buy flies. He wouldn't leave his chair in spite of about three requests to come over and show us what he'd recommend. We did get there about 15 minutes before close and he was counting the till but we were willing to, and did stand by while that got done. Get your advice and buy your flies somewhere else. Lastly, the chironomid patterns we bought fell apart way too soon. Poor quality flies.
