The team here was able to squeeze me in last minute for a bootfitting (I had an appointment earlier at another store in Teton Village who told me they didn't have the brands that would fit my feet). And after about 1 hour of heating the boot and molding it to accommodate my navicular, Will had set me up with an awesome pair of Salomon BOA ski boots that are arguably the best-fitting shoes I own. What a delight these boots were on the slopes last week: Zero foot pain. Will even made great sock recommendations that ensured dryness and comfort. I couldn't be happier with my new ski boots, and it was all thanks to Will. Next, I needed new ski goggles, and Ali at the front was incredibly helpful and knowledgable. She recognized that a low bridge fit might be more suitable for my face. Ali definitely came through, and these made a huge difference last week with the snow storms, as the ability to easily swap out lenses magnetically on my Smith goggles ensured the best visibility. I was so impressed with the team here at JHS and made a few more trips back to the shop throughout my week in Jackson Hole. Everyone there was incredibly professional providing great service, and the store stocks the best brands and the quality of their goods was world-class.

Shouldn't be doing anything when it comes to customers. She didn't count my change back. She just handed it to me. Didn't say thank you didn't say nothing. So I said thank you and she's like yeah sure. What's the deal with that? The last time I checked we pay her wages by doing business there and if she don't like dealing with customers then she should probably find a different job. I make random trips to Salmon every month and so I think I'll just start doing my shopping at Murdoch's they are always kind and say thank you for coming in ask how your day is going ask if you need any help with anything else and they actually count your change back to you correctly instead of just handing it to you and letting you do your own counting.

It'sneat and well organized and there are a lot of employees working. I spoke with four different employees but unfortunately they were unable to find the item even though I showed them that it was listed as in stock in the store. They explained that sometimes the inventories are not correct and did seem to make a good effort to locate the item for me. I'm disappointed that I couldn't find the item that I wanted, but this store is nice and I would definitely come back here. This was a birthday present I never got to use until last weekend so it was never opened. My fault. However, I'm told that there is nothing they can do. It's been more than 30 days. I'm sorry that Rip T. had a bad experience, but let me assure you that it must've been a rarity. Every time I set foot in Cabela's, I'm met with professionalism, and great customer service. They've got EVERYTHING you could possibly want, need, or dream of to make your outdoor adventure complete - whether you're going hunting, camping, hiking, fishing, bird watching, kayaking...you name it! They've also got licensing for fishing/hunting and concealed carry classes. I've purchased several items from Cabela's, including some clothing items, holsters for concealed carry, ammunition, and a 9mm semi-automatic pistol. BTW - their firearms selection is GREAT and so is the knowledge & expertise of their firearm sales staff. They've got a couple of rewards program options as well - free membership card with reward points & a rewards Visa. I keep forgetting my membership card at home, so I can't speak with much of a perspective on how the whole reward system works just yet. Don't let the one bad review keep you away. Come to Cabela's & fall in love with your new favorite outdoor store!
