They made excuses for not having windshields on their side by sides....so if it's raining you won't want to use them. If it's dusty you won't to use them. It's literally a simple thing to do to snap windshields on to side by sides. read more

We went snowmobiling in Yellowstone with a guide--Harrison. We went to The Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. Snowmobiling was super fun and though it was cold out the rented gear kept us warm. I would suggest toe warmers for your boots. The trip was 8 hours. I would suggest you ask for another tour guide. Harrison seemed to be intent on driving fast--top speed 52mph though posted speed limit was 35. We passed up several really nice photo ops because he wasn't paying aeor didn't care to stop. It would be nice to have a way to communicate with the tour guide while riding. I heard other tour guides giving good information about what we were seeing at our stops but not Harrison. The views we did see were amazing & we did see Bison, otter & elk. If I were just rating the guide, this tour would get a 2 star rating but because the park & the snowmobiling experience would get 5 stars! read more

We've been coming to West Yellowstone as a group since 2001. We started with 5 and have now grown to 44 Christian business men that have all built our Amway business to the point that we have the freedom, time and financial resources to do every trip first class. And when coming back to The Snowmobile Capital of the world, we only choose one outfit each time. Yellowstone Adventures provided us with enough back country guides for 5 separate groups, each of varying skill levels and experience. 2022 was by far my best experience thanks to 7 year veteran guide Erik Dawkins. Erik provided our team with a complete all around, high country experience that included boondocking, mountain climbing, trail riding and exclusive access to secret untouched territory. He had a great engaging personality and was attentive enough to our desires to provide a custom experience. We rented a UTV for a full day. Everyone was very helpful and I called twice before we left home, to ask questions and I was helped with my questions by Albert. He was very understanding that it was my first time and didn't treat me like I should know these things. When we showed up that morning, we were checked in quickly and they gave us a map and also explained how to use the app. They gave us a great recommendation on what trails to take to suit our time and riding type. They rent out ATVs with hidden and unrepaired damage and charge you for the damage when you return at the end of the day even though the damage was noted on the pre trip inspection. I admitted the mirror hit a tree branch which broke the mirror and I was willing to pay for the mirror. The previous damage to the bumper and skid plate created underlying hidden damage that caused the tire to rub the fender and headlight mounting assembly when going over bumpy sections of the trails which eventually caused the assembly to break lose from the fender. This occurred on a slow speed area of the trail thus, the headlight bulb housing was returned intact. If you are tempted to rent an ATV from them and see that the bumper(s) and skid plate(s) are bent or dented, and you see broke plastic parts that are stitched back together with wire do not accept that ATV for your rental. read more

Prices were fair, same rates as competitors. We saw a Moose on the trail. But Cody the man who set us up was grouchy, and not very helpful (he's not a morning person). Instead of recommending big springs as our first stop, they should recommend Lions head or Two top because those were way better sights to see. Big springs was nothing special and does not need an atv to get to, it can be accessed by car. Two top loop was amazing Super beautiful. We couldn't make lions head but heard it was Badass and we were extremely upset we spent time riding to Big Springs. ATVing is worth it despite the bad directions. read more

My husband and I took an ATV tour today with our son, daughter in law and grandson. We're are both in our 80s and was the first time we ever did this. Check it off the bucket list. We had a fabulous time. Would definitely do it again with Yellowstone Adventures if we get back. This was our first trip to Montana and Yellowstone. We come from Lago Vista, Texas and our son and grandson and their families are from the Florida Keys. We met here for a family vacation and got to see our great grandson and family after over a year of covid restrictions. Today was a fun fun day. Can't give enough praise to this company. Snowmobile ride to old faithful where I found I was too sissy to continue on, Marty was fantastic and found me ride back with a snow coach from their company while he took care of my family. Jessie the driver of the snow coach was amazing! He welcomed me with open arms and saved my day allowing me to enjoy the beautiful views from the warmth of his super badass warm ride. Wow, what a great experience with this crew! Great folks! The machines are in great shape, like new! Had never snowmobiled the area but they all made us very comfortable before we took off. We had rented machines for two days and already paid for them. Well we had a medical emergency in our family we had to return home for the morning of the second day. I was ready to take the loss for the day as we had to leave for home quickly. I just explained our situation and the fully refunded the second day! With out even being asked to! YA was truly a fun adventure. We did the trails in the summer (end of July) and it was DRY. We had two adults and two kids, ages 13/10. We rented the two seater because we wanted to go to the top of two top mountain. The 4 seater would not fit inside the fence to get you to the top. It was so much fun! If its summer and dry take bandanas and goggles. If you have that you are good to go. I would almost recommend taking garbage bags to put your cooler and things in while you are on the move. It was SO dusty and I still can't get all of the dirt off my backpack. We had a soft yeti cooler that we took w/ us on the trip them we had a backpack w food and change of clothes. We also packed a lunch. Also, we took a final trail that ended at Hebgen Lake and found a spot near the water that was remote. We changed clothes and swam for a few to get the dirt off because it is A LOT! We got our ATVs around 10:30 and returned them right at 5. It was a fantastic day. read more

If you're interested in experiencing Yellowstone in the winter, let Cody be your guide. First, the staff was so helpful in finding the right size suit, boot, helmet, and gloves. Cody, cares and has so much respect for the environment. We found him picking up bits of trash that guest accidentally dropped while eating a snack. We had lunch at Old Faithful and again, he was respectful and made sure we left the place as it was. Of course everyone was happy to obliged but Cody, thinking of the staff at the lodge, helped us clean up. As a tour guide, he seemed to genuinely care about the safety and warmth of everyone on the tour and even made an extra stop so some of the tour could get warm (it was brutal temperatures). He remembers everyone's name, which I find highly impressive. He also was able to give us all a history lesson on certain Yellowstone facts. I highly recommend touring Yellowstone in the winter. No matter what season, Yellowstone is always magnificent but in the winter, its quiet, peaceful and an opportunity to absorb the wonder of peace and nature in a quiet setting. read more
