Also they were so helpful to tell me where I could get a Montana fishing licenses and bait to use. They informed me of a lot of rules I needed to know too. He was so friendly and cared about every detail. We started with training and then hit the water. He was very patient and continued teaching throughout the day. He taught us about the area, the river and pointed out an Eagle flying overhead. We caught at least 10 fish, but only netted 3 or 4. Definitely not Carl's fault. In addition to the ax, throwing and high-end knives, they carry moderately priced, mass-produced knives as well. I would say that one of the best things about the shop, however are the fine Swedish axes, the custom, American forged axes, the various buffalo robe, mountain man, and other high-end versions of rustic and traditional western clothing and items. They even have high-end, new, cast iron. if you have never held a multi thousand dollar knife, or felt a knife so sharp that a slight touch will sever an artery, this place is for you.

Trent was extremely knowledgeable about Yellowstone's natural wonders and the best places to view wildlife. He was flexible, patient and very accommodating. He went above and beyond even sticking around to take us to west Yellowstone restaurants after our daily tour. We saw all the natural wonders on our list, as well as most of the wildlife. We had some special moments like a momma grizzly with three, two year old cubs; a large bison traffic jam with babies, called red dogs; a baby elk hiding as it's mother is gone off feeding; a mountain goat with a baby; Coyote cubs; elks with calves; a black bear couple; and a wolf with cubs moving about. Because we are bird watchers, Trent adjusted our tour to accommodate some bird watching and we were able to check off quite a few birds on our life list. In setting up our tour, David was fantastic. He was patient and accommodating for our lodging needs. This made our trip extra special. We highly recommend Yellowstone family adventures for your trip to Yellowstone. We recently completed a tour with this group. We were are part of the saddle and paddle. Horseback…read moreriding in the morning with lunch in between and rafting 8 miles in the afternoon. Check in and directions were easy and every single person was delightful. Once we made our way up to the horseback riding ranch we were ready to ride. It was fun. However the guides for at the ranch were not very friendly. They did not really give great instructions prior to riding. There were several inexperienced riders who could have benefited from a few extra minutes of support and directions. Another negative was the group of riders was way too large. They should break up the large groups into smaller ones. Our group had over 30ppl. Got separated from my spouse during horse selection. It was chaos. They should consider breaking the groups up into experience and who cam together. Felt bad my spouse was chosen last and I had been on my horse for a good 10 minutes. Overall I would not suggest this portion of the tour unless they committed to making groups smaller and more interactive with guides. They didnt really talk to us or give and local facts or interesting things about the area. Disappointing. The older lady at the ranch also got sparky when I asked if I could take my water with me. Her response "why do you need water it's only a hour ride, jeez just grab a saddle bag I guess. Just rude. Then when getting off the horse she was smacking it in the face while I was still on it. Just not the greatest experience.

We hit Old Faithful at the perfect time, short wait and one of the tallest eruptions, 170 ft! Just wow! So many great photo op stops. Some wild life including Bison. We saw falls and cascades. Learned so much history of the park including the background behind a lot of the names. Definitely recommend doing a tour vs Self-tour! Thank you Gypsy!

We booked the All-Day Lower Loop Summer Tour and had a fantastic experience. Our tour guide, Rue,…read morewas incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable about Yellowstone. We visited on a Sunday and were pleasantly surprised that the park wasn't too crowded. Because of this, we had extra time for a few additional stops along the route, which was a great bonus. All of the stops were amazing, especially Old Faithful and Artist Point. We were also lucky enough to see an incredible variety of wildlife, including a grizzly bear, black bear, bison, elk, and more. One thing to note is that most stops are about 20-50 minutes long, so there isn't a lot of time to fully explore each area or purchase food. Our group chose to include lunch through the company, and it was more than enough for lunch. I would suggest to bring some snacks if you're a snacker. I loved the water bottle design they provided and ended up bringing it home as a souvenir. Overall, I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Yellowstone!
