I came here after a bike shop in Missoula had "reassembled" my bike and left if badly damaged -- will not bore you all with the details, but essentially I ended up in the middle of no-where with a bike that would no longer shift gears. Hired a driver and brought the bike to Yellowstone Bicycles. I wish I could remember the name of the nice older gentleman who runs (owns?) the place, but he was terrific. Replaced the shifter cable and diagnosed the problem (previous shop had left off a key piece of equipment). While Yellowstone Bicycles doesn't carry Trek bikes, they were able to jury-rig a piece of equipment that solved the problem and saved my vacation.
I got the sense he saw it as a challenge to fix and wasn't going to let me leave without making it work. We spent 40 minutes figuring out the issue and coming up with a plan and then he charged me...$25.
These are great folks who know their craft and enjoy working and meeting people. I certainly enjoyed meeting them.
