If you are in the area and don't know what to do I 100% recommend coming here to grab especially for there good deals on a 2 to 4 seater rzr depending on the size of your family but also be careful with the fast speeds, there is a very high and likely chance of you tipping but very fun place with very good deals such as rentals for kayaks, tubes to go in the lake 3 minutes away for just under $50 to have fun for plenty of hours sounds like a good deal to me and if your going to be driving the rzr for about $330 which is a very good deal as other place's have charged me more than $500+just for a couple hours but at this location you can have a it for 4+ hours just make sure the tank is full when you are finished read more

WOW I'm just gonna say I'm still at a loss for words to describe how awesome the experience was with HMA. From the start the experience over the phone booking with Justin was awesome and we were getting so pumped up to come out. When we arrived we were greeted by name which really made us feel like they truly cared about our booking. We had a great safety and user interface session with Dan who was really showed us what to do. Then we put on rental gear which was great stuff stayed dry and warm all day in so thanks. The sleds were extremely nice and well maintained so we knew we had a epic ride ahead of us. We smashed a few trails they had suggested we try first and that was a great idea to get aquatinted with sleds being that we all came from California dirt biking roots. We ran out to a few highlighted destinations for burgers and then back out into the epic powder . After the days end we returned for a fill up on oil and to touch base for the next day. Again the boys greeted us by first names and then asked how the day was and if we enjoyed the ride. We came out for my bachelor party and by this time I had already had one of the most epic and memorable times of my life with my boys thanks to High Mountain Adventures so we were all pumped for day two. We picked up some great new gear and energy drinks from the shop and rode back to our Airbnb. Second day we rode we felt a little brave and tried a hill climb were we quickly ran out off talent ‍. This is where HMA made all 7 of us customers for life. Bailey you are the MAN ! HMA sent a extremely talented man out to save our butts and boy did he ever. After getting us back off the hill we followed him back to the shop on yet another epic ride threw the powder. This is when I realized that had we taken his guided class day one we would have really learned to ride better out the gate. All 7 of us are hooked for life and already planing our return trip for next year. Huge thanks to you all for the hospitality and experienced staff. I am so happy that I rented from high mountain adventures. This is the first time so that's why I reached out to them when I had a special request. I have a son-in-law who does not have a right arm from the elbow down. I spoke with Justin in October telling him that I wanted to rent some snow machines in December and explain my situation. He was more than eager to help me with a left-handed throttle conversion so that when we arrived my son-in-law would have a sled to ride. We rented snowmobiles here in early December 2020 and had a blast! Everyone was really friendly, they equipped us with helmets and goggles, additionally you can rent everything from boots, bibs to gloves. If you've never been snowmobiling before and don't have extremely warm winter boots I highly recommend renting their boots because they will keep your toes warm. After you put on all the gear they show you a quick instructional video and then off you go. There a miles and miles of snowmobiling trails, truly an amazing experience. I have rented UTV's from many different places and absolutely no one compares to High Mountain Adventure! From customer service to the quality of their machines they are the best around. This Labor Day weekend I rented a four seat Polaris Razor for 3 1/2 days. On the morning of day two I unfortunately rolled razor making it unusable. However, Unexpectedly within 2hrs they fixed the machine and had me riding the rest of the weekend. What could have been a horrible experience turned into a GREAT weekend. This is a great spot to rent a Polaris. The service was great, we even got water tubes to use at the lake. Bailey gave us an iPad to use as a road map and recommended the best places to visit!! They really need the ability to give zero stars on yelp... Got the ole' bait 'n switch from these guys. My wife called to get a quote on an hourly ATV rental during our vacation in Island Park. Headed up and the same guy she talked to on the phone wouldn't honor the price and said we'd have to go 1/2 day (only three hours left in the day). Gave us some story that he'd called his boss and the boss wouldn't let him offer the price he gave us cause it wasn't worth their time/cost to rent for a couple hours. Even if I give them the benefit of the doubt that he was telling the truth, I would still expect any decent business to honor a price it offered, especially after the customers took precious time during their vacation to drive up to their location. If you need an ATV/snowmobile in the area, do yourself a favor and see the place I gave 5 stars just down the road. read more

Had an overall good experience. The 6-seat Polaris we rented was in good condition and had no issues the 6 hours we drove it. Staff was friendly and helpful. Checkout and rental process was super easy. Things I would have liked to see to get a 5-Star rating: Unscratched goggles (especially for the driver) and same-day half-day rentals. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! BEWARE OF EXTREMELY RUDE AND DEGRADING EMPLOYEES THAT HAVE NO INTEREST IN MEETING YOUR ATV NEEDS! We had a large party of 10 come in, interested in renting ATV's for the day only to find that the employees and owner would not honor what their employee told us in person the day before. The employee the day before said we could rent half day ATVs from 8 am to 12:00 pm. We planned our last day here based on that conversation. When we arrived to rent 4 atvs, both employees on staff told us that their policy was that all half days rentals start at 11 am. They were rude and we not willing to offer any help or stand up to the commitment their employee made the day before. We were actually willing to pay the full day (almost $1200) but quickly changed our minds when the 2 employees on staff started acting demeaning and rude. Had they just shown any concern or sorrow for the position their employee put us in, we would have paid and probably enjoyed the trip. These guys have no customer service and are frankly rude and inconsiderate. We will not be coming here on our next trip to Yellowstone. Don't make the same mistake we did. read more

Amazing experience! We were referred by our cabin rental and they did not lead us astray. Justin at HMA was so helpful, friendly, and thorough with us. He helped us figure out a package that fit our timeframe, geared us up, answered our dozens of questions, and gave us several suggestions for comfortable trails for us as novice drivers. They take safety seriously, showing us good spots to go where we can enjoy the ride, find a little adventure, and still be comfortable. We rented a 4 person RZR and it came with helmets and GPS. The machines are beautiful and well taken care of. We will absolutely be back and look forward to doing this again! read more

BE CAREFUL! These guys won't tell you that they have a 'New Vehicle' policy, meaning they like to rent their machines in 'new' condition. What this means for you is that a small scuff or scratch on a fender or fascia(the rubbery stuff over the wheels) will be billed to your credit card to be replaced at retail cost. So if you rent an ATV and do ANY damage to it, you will be billed. A typical fender costs $200. They will even bill you for scratched decals. At the end of the day, I was billed $2800 in damages(plus the daily rental fee). I did do damage to the vehicle and offered what I thought was a reasonable settlement to replace a couple fenders and door. No good, since they rely on their New Vehicle policy to squeeze you for thousands of dollars. We were appalled. The photos I have show most of the parts I was billed for with a scratch or scuff. This is an off-road machine! I was driving on the roads they showed me. They don't offer cautious advice, but they do offer a T-shirt that says "Ride It Like a Rental". Not to mention the videos they have playing - extremely risky ATV stunts and the like. Additionally disturbing was that they escorted us away from the estimating process, so they could secretly decide how much to over-charge us for. I have rented skis and mountain bikes, and those businesses use a decent model where minor damages aren't billed for, they just include the cost in their rental fees over multiple customers. A minor ding or scratch that doesn't render the equipment unusable isn't charged to the customer. High Mountain Adventures charge enough for daily rentals as it is. Also, go online and find their rental agreement. They will charge you $50 to wash the machine if it's excessively muddy, full-replacement for the vehicle if you get it stuck in a puddle, and daily fees if they can't rent it. There's nothing to stop these guys from charging one customer thousands for dollars as per their New Vehicle policy, and then only actually replacing one part to get the machine back into rotation. There are plenty of other rental places around the area, go there instead. read more

I would have given them 0 stars if that were an option. I've rented from them twice now (I know fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me) and I should have learned my lesson the 1st time with them. First rental was a snowmobile that broke down in the middle of nowhere. As we were explaining to them our location so they could come and pick the snowmobile up they had promised a partial refund but when we got back to the shop that night to settle up they said that they were not going to honor the refund and that is something that just happens when renting snowmobiles. Very unethical and bad business overall. The 2nd time I rented from them I rented an ATV just this past summer. They claimed that the ATV's were brand new over the phone but when we got there they had to be at least one, if not 2, years old and fairly beat up. When we returned the ATV's at the end of the day they tried to claim that I rolled/damaged the ATV and that they were going to charge my CC $1,500 for damages. In fact, they were not allowing us to leave until we agreed to pay this money. They just seem to be a very unethical company and clearly I will never rent from them again and I certainly would not recommend them to anyone. Hope this helps in your decision making. read more

Not a place we'd go back to. We rented snowmobiles as total novices. Asked for safety tips, what we should do and not do, etc. What we got: "turn it on and drive", and he walked away. Very dangerous and certainly no concern for our safety. There are signs all over the shop warning of extra (and high) fees if you are late, damage anything, get stuck, etc. Reasonable enough, but sending customers out with no tips seems like a great way to ensure some accident resulting in additional income. They also required your credit card to be on their waiver form, in order to bill you should you damage the equipment. Again, reasonable, except for the fact that they already had it when we rented and paid by credit card. Seemed a little shady. Bottom line, We would not recommend this business for anything....gut feeling is they are not on the up and up.....and certainly don't care about your personal safety. read more

high mountain adventures, where do I start. What seemed to be a fun day of riding around on atv's took a turn for the worst. A good man named Justin who worked there gave us the option of a half a day of riding around which helped us out greatly since we were leaving town that afternoon. It came to my surprise when our hope of a half day that was offered to us was taken away by a very rude and disrespectful manager who was at the desk. He told us that there was no way we could do a half day and I could come to see why he wouldn't let us do this because of business purposes but the way he approached the situation and the way he talked to us was inexcusable. He told us that half a day was "a privilege" and he didn't even look at us once. With his face buried into his iPad he went on to treat us like we were not worthy to ride his vehicles. All in all I wish I could give this place zero stars. read more
