The sled was perfectly equipped for off trail riding, made it up Lions Head easy. Had a slight mishap due to pushing my limits :) and they got me back out overnight. High mark rentals went above and beyond to make sure my daughter an I were comfortable and safe. They were able to give excellent advice to make our stay even more enjoyable. Great people. Should be renamed to "Are You High, Mark?" or possibly "High Priced Rentals". My son and I rented two Polaris 850 snowmobiles for what I thought was going to be around $500. What they failed to mention was that nothing was included in this price (gas, helmet, boots, etc.). The gas cost me $96 for 24 gallons (12 in each machine) of which we may have used 16 total. With gas at the pump at $2.57 a gallon for premium, $4 per gallon is a little ridiculous, and I ended up paying closer to $6. We broke the windshields on both machines (obviously low quality) which cost $102 each to replace. The guy even said "I'm thinking about taking those off next year", well why don'tyou just take them off now? All in the day cost me $926!!!!! I almost fell over when I got the final bill. We rented two similar machines (Ski-Doo 850's) from Yellowstone Vacation Tours two days prior and paid right around $500, as we didn't get dinged for every little thing and the gas was included. Unfortunately they closed early due to the virus and we were not able to rent from them. I will definitely be renting from Yellowstone in the future. read more

Everything was as expected, they were the only rental company in town that had 6 seaters and allowed my younger kids (3, 6, 8) to ride along. They gave us free helmets to use and recommended a few easy cruising routes/destinations per my request. Their fleet was all newer vehicles and our UTV ran flawlessly. read more

This rental company is a joke. I rented 5 machines from this company. 1 Skidoo 600 two person touring machine, 1 Skidoo 900 touring machine, 1 Polaris single person machine with a add a seat, 1 Polaris 600 single person and 1 Arctic Cat 800 Turbo. During the inspection of the machines the mechanic said on the touring 600 the rear heated hand grips didn't work. On the touring 900 the reverse didn't work and the rear heated hand grip didn't work, on the single 600 with the added seat he said try not to use the electric start because Polaris starters are shit (his exact words) and will burn up, one the other Polaris 600 again I was reminded how Polaris starters are garbage and the Artic Cat was fine. We had a great trip throughout the day and had a blast. On our way back a few miles from town the Artic broke a drive belt. We changed it with ease and continued down the trail. I noticed and smelled antifreeze. I stopped and inspected the machine. I noticed when the belt broke it also broke a antifreeze line off the antifreeze reservoir. I chose to remove the key and get a rid back to town with our group to notify the rental company. When I told them what happened the guys in the shop thanked me for not continuing to drive and I gave them the location of the machine. After I gave them the location the owner came in yelling at me that that machine only had 225 miles on it. Prior to him coming out he was making derogatory remarks to my group of people in the show room. After his tantrum I went back to the show room and he followed me in. At this point he continue to yell and belittle me and proceeded to tell me how I was riding snowmobile which was completely false. I have been snowmobiling for over 35 years and have had owned 12 machine during that time which many have been brand new. I was charged for the belt that was way over priced, the coolant reservoir and one hour of labor. I was good with that, but him telling me it was my fault that the belt broke on flat ground and traveling around 55-60 mph, this guy is full of shit. If my party and kids we're not in the showroom I would have gave this Assclown a peace of my mind. I wouldn't rent anything from this company if I were you. Yellowstone Adventures is the best place in town for machines. Again most of the guys in the shop are level headed, one guy behind the front counter was super cool (thank you for your service officer) and the brother of the owner was super cool. Wonderful experience. We were lucky they had one double snowmobile left to rent when every place in town was booked solid (we checked them all!). We only found this place by driving down the street though. The best part of High Mark was their gear was 10 times warmer than the place we rented from two days prior. The suits were warmer in the chest area, the full face mask were warmer by far! and they gave us a balaclava for a little extra comfort. The staff were all super nice and helpful with a good sense of humor. Definitely recommend! read more

We rented ATVs for a family adventure. We knew we wanted to ride for a half day and I just happened to find High Mt. I am so thrilled that I did! They were are very professional and were expecting us as we showed up for our half day trip. We were thrilled with the guidance of the trails and made it to Mt Two Top with breathtaking views!! We arrived a bit early and found he was already there and the ATV setting outside ready to go. Had a fabulous day in the mountains with the side by side. Great service, great machine. This place is an absolute joke. Drove 10 hours to West Yellowstone where I had a snowmobile rental for 2 days through Highmark Rentals. I got there the morning of my first day rental to find out I was set to be on a different sled than I rented (because the one I rented broke down and they were waiting on parts). The owner told me if they didn't get parts I wouldn't even have a rental the second day. I told him twice that it would have been very nice to know ahead of time that this was the scenario (so I could line up another sled to use). I was polite as I could be considering the circumstances, and just informed him once again that it would've been nice to know prior to the day of my rental. The owner proceeded to say "F**k it then, I'm cancelling everything for you, you won't get any sled at all". He says "I'm the owner and I can make that decision" and just up and cancels my booking all together. I have been snowmobiling in a handful of different places and this was by far the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I would encourage anyone thinking about doing business with this place to explore other options. Absolutely no communication and not even an offer to try and find an alternative solution to the situation. Guys like this don't deserve to receive business when there are other options in town. Absolutely disappointed in this place and will not recommend to anybody. read more

The organization lacks the most basic customer service skills. When checking in the snowmobiles at the end of the day the employees are almost hostile. Went in looking for a NEW belt for a snowmobile. The head parts guy tried to sell me a used belt. When I said hey this is a used belt he said I'll go grab another. He came back with two used belts!!!! These belts are $200 each. It is VERY easy to tell a new belt from a used belt if you even have limited knowledge of snowmobiling. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with! They rented us 4 snow mobiles and knowingly neglected to tell us that 2 of the units had much smaller gas tanks and would only run for a fraction of the time. We were tourists snowmobiling in the mountains! This would be important information to know don't you think?? The 2 units gas tanks were completely empty while the normal units still had 3/4 full tanks. They know we would not have rented under those circumstances. They got their $$$$ but never again from us! When we complained their response was "we can't tell you everything." That is their level of customer service! Absolutely zero regard for the terrible circumstances we could have incurred due to their neglect! They are also the most expensive requiring you to fill the tanks. The 2 other companies we rented from included gas used at the same rental price! That makes them much more expensive. What kind of company is willing to let you and your family get stranded in the the mountains for a day rental? Highmark, that's who. read more
